I came here to get a set of retainers that I lost. The first time was amazing they took me in the same day and got my molds taken care of & even offer you a free treat on the way out however my second time was less than great on wait time. You must call in, in order to be allowed inside the room. I got there on time, called twice and texted no answer which led to me waiting for an extra 25 minutes before I sat in the chair for another 15 minutes before I saw the actual dentist to make sure they pieces fit well. I'm not sure what happened but it sucked and they were fully staffed but anywho I have them now and they are good. $460 for top and bottom which is great. read more

The staff treated me like I was the most important patient. They gave me a tour of the office and literally answered every question twice if needed. I can't speak to the work because I haven't decided if I will get braces, but just from professionalism, environmental, and customer service perspective, they are 100/10. BEWARE: Dr. Kimball instructed us to remove two healthy bottom frontal teeth for my son without telling us he would need jaw surgery later. In order to squeeze his teeth together causing him to bite his tongue and have breathing problems for the rest of his life, we unfortunately removed the teeth per his instructions, and now my son has to wear a Maryland bridge for the rest of his life. I'm giving him three stars so he can not delete the post. 29 now. When I was 17 my mom forced me to get braces. I went to kimball for one year. Went to every check up on time. He never once mentions a 40$ water pick. I get the braces off at 18-19 and then at 22 learn he did insane damage to all my teeth from the braces. Have calcium deposits now on the top of all my teeth from his work. The best part is I didn't even need the braces. Everyday I walk around thinking that I'm not even worth 40$. This man hurt me on so many levels and even deletes google reviews! I would not recommend this man even to my worst enemy. read more

It was 6:45pm and as soon as I bit down I knew there was a problem - I think I bent or broke something with my braces and it was the worst possible time! I had to leave town early the next morning and I would not have time to see my regular orthodontist. I happened to call Kimball Orthodontics to ask if they could squeeze me in right before they were scheduled to close at 7pm even though I was not a patient of theirs. Much to my delight they told me to come in ASAP and they would see what they could do. I must have walked in at 6:55 and I was actually impressed by the location and facilities right off the bat. I was offered a water and seen immediately - apparently I had bent my wire and it was causing a lot of pressure. Luckily and much to my relief they were able to bend my wire back in place and sent me on my way, with no charge whatsoever. This review is the very least I could do as they likely saved me from having to postpone an important business trip which would have been very costly. What a wonderful experience. I "interviewed" 4 Orthodontists in the area before choosing Dr. Kimball & his team. Dr. Kimball had the best price and also a plan that was the least invasive. The kids occasionally get to spin a point wheel (if they're doing what's asked, brush, floss, wear their rubber bands, etc.) and they accumulate points for special rewards at the end of treatment !! They usually have a sweet treat for the kids and/or siblings in waiting area and water or hot chocolate, coffee and tea for the adults too. We received notch service from start to finish. Financing was easy and affordable. All the gals in the office are so nice and always make you feel at home and very comfortable. Come to Kimball first, you will be impressed. read more

Gave me braces when I was younger. Had the braces for a year. During my check ups I was never reminded how important it is to floss for braces. I didn't even need the braces. Anyway we take the braces off and now I have permanent damage on all my teeth. A rough calcium along the gums of al my teeth from wearing the braces. I can't recommend Kimball Orthodontics any higher. All four of my children have gone to Dr. Kimball and we don't have any complaints. They are very professional. There are two offices for your convenience, one in Laguna Niguel and one in Laguna Beach. They have a video game room for the kids, the kids earn points and can use those for prizes, and kids check in on iPads. The staff is very friendly. Worst orthodontist place ever! Terrible doctor. Ruined both me and my sisters roots for life. Permanent damage. In fact we had 2 ROUNDS of braces with them and they still managed to give us permanent root damage. They do not even care and are not acknowledging what they have done. My experience with Dr. Kimball has completely exceeded my expectations. From the moment I walked in the front door, I have felt like a valued customer. The office is very nice, beyond what I would expect from a dentist office, the computers and machinery are clean and new, and everything is well organized. Before even receiving my consult, I knew I could trust the service here. The actual consultation was fast and informative, and I was given a couple options with how to fix my bite. Important to note, I didn't get the feeling that I was being sold anything I didn't need. The staff is friendly and has (on several occasions) stayed a little late to accommodate my busy schedule. The actual braces have been painless and without problem, making me wonder why I have heard bad things about having braces. I would highly reccomend Dr. Kimball to anyone even mildly entertaining the thought of getting braces. P.S. Buy the retainer insurance when you get your braces off. Honestly, I was pretty disappointed with the way things happened at this office. I went in for a consultation for Invisalign, they took an x Ray, Dr. Kimball looked at my teeth for maybe 5 minutes or less, and didn't explain much about them. Right after, they showed me how much it would be. They didn't even explain anything about the Invisalign, the process, or what the next step would be. By far the best Orthodontice I've ever been to. I have been to 3 other places before coming here, and each place wanted me to have at least 2 teeth pulled before having braces put on. Dr Kimball did a thorough diagnosis, and explained to me I need no teeth removed. Removing teeth is a last resort. His expertise left me at ease, and I was eager to get started with Braces. Kimball Orthodontics is a pleasant experience from beginning to end, which says a lot for any dentistry related treatment visit! After seeing the brilliant smile Dr Kimball achieved for my teenage daughter, I went into braces for the frst time to correct my bite and overcrowding. Having all of my wisdom teeth, I wasn't expecting to be able to keep those and correct my crowding but Dr Kimball was confident I had the space. I recall that all of our visits were pleasant - the staff is always friendly, and I don't recall my children ever complaining about going. Dr. Kimball was always friendly and gentle with them. The staff took a genuine interest in my children - inquiring about their interests, and always encouraging them to come back in if they had any discomfort, needed more rubber bands, lost a retainer (oops!) etc.! Imagine getting braces at 45 years old in order to get your 11 year old daughter to get them too. We are better off for it too! The people at Kimball Ortho are exceptional. You see it in every experience and interaction with each person. At first I wasn't so sure they were genuinely "that happy", but despite all my suspicions I wasn't able to find any evidence to the contrary. I would hire any of the people there to work for me in an instant. My final exit review included X-rays and uncomfortable closeup photos of my very open mouth. I was fortunate to have Kira take me through the indignity and she made the entire process as comfortable as possible and actually kinda' pleasant. I have known Peter Kimble since High School and he was a stand-up guy then as he is today! My son Aidan had his braces installed by Peter and we are very happy with Aidan's smile!
