I found New Generation Dentistry five years ago based on great google reviews and I can tell you that from the first visit till now, I've been very happy with all the work Dr.Sasha has done for me. He's honest, experienced and has a lot of newest technology in his office even they make the crown in house perfectly ! The team is so friendly and welcoming and Gabrielle and Hannah are super helpful regarding my insurance questions and the appointments. Last not least , I love seeing my hygienist Olga , she helped me so much with all my gum problems and bleedings by suggesting deep cleaning/ laser treatment and 3 time regular cleaning through the year in past 4 years! Now it's been more than 10 years I've been going to New Generation Dentistry. If I need regular work or just a checkup Dr. Sasha is the one I see. For my implant work (I now have 11) I see Dr. Orest Frangopol. Every time I am so glad I found them. They work with my insurance company, and answer questions I might have. I moved away and I was still going there.. ever though I told the front people that I lived far if they can accommodate, my cleaning, and fills, they didn't want to.. they didn't care. They had me waiting for a long time and I would see Dr Sasha for maybe 3 minutes.. worst dentist all around that I have ever been too. I had told them that my periodontist told me I had cavities.. seemed like Dr Sasha was bothered and refused to work on my teeth because of my wisdom tooth. Thought from the reviews this dental office would be different from the others in the area. I was sadly disappointed and I haven't even stepped foot into the office. I called a week ago for an appt for cleaning. I was called the night before to confirm my new pt appt that did not include a cleaning. This was not explained to me that I would need to come in 3 diff times! One for new pt appt, then cleaning, then was planning to go back to have a cavity filled. I mean does this office think I have 3 days off work just to come an visit them this often?! I understand due to insurance payment hey would want two visits but not three! This office needs to work on their front desk communication skills. They wasted a whole week of my time waiting for an appt when I could have booked and been done with someone else! I miss the days when dental offices were not greedy and you could get a new pt exam, cleaning, and fillings in the same day! I was offered an earlier time slot for exam and cleaning after I complained. I was considering taking it until yet again the front office staff yesterday could not tell me how long their cleanings last. I told her a 2 minute cleaning like the last two dental offices tried to pull on me isn't going to work! From every yelp review of dentists in this area everyone tries hard to push deep cleanings to get paid more. I'm not falling for it. I used to be a dental assistant so you can't fool me. The stress, miscommunication, and time wasted by this office is unacceptable. I wonder how many others they have tricked by promising services they would not provide upon arrival. Almost immediately after writing this review...Someone named Gabrielle who states in a review of hers that she is in the "industry" that writes under Marissa P. to hide her identity sent me a nasty private message in response to this review. Greedy . They sell you stuff that you don't need . I would never go back there . Every time I went there they would find something that would cost you money . extra money for my cleaning . I am with my new dentist since 2016 and I am going to his office twice a year for cleaning so about 6 years twice a year and no extra charge , no nonsense treatments and my teeth and gum are in perfect condition. Our 8 yrs old grandson had a school accident and chipped his permanent front tooth very bad... My daughter had a similar situation a few years ago and contacted Gabi at the New Generation Dentistry (NGD) since she had a great experience back then. Gabi was able to get us to see Dr. Sara in an emergency basis- then Dr. Sara with great skills and experience reattached the broken tooth piece and make it look like it never happened with no pain or discomfort. Here is an update from our family since our last one was from 2016. We still love Dr. Sasha and staff! If anything, we love them more. As previously mentioned, we initially were patients of his colleague here in Irvine, but we followed him when he relocated to Mission Viejo. Upon his departure, we found out that Dr. Sasha was covered by our insurance so we stayed. Even though it is a bit of a drive, it is worth for three of us! Everyone is professional, attentive, and knowledgeable not to mention friendly, helpful, and just simply amazing. With Will and Aidan being high risk with their asthma, we appreciate their emphasis on safety for themselves and us patients especially with COVID nowadays. The process from scheduling, insurance verification, and payment is always smooth. You will be pleased the minute you walk in as you are greeted with a nice, modern office and a warm welcome. The check-in using an iPad is quick and easy. The individual rooms and high-tech equipment are always pristine, and the TV option is always a nice distraction if needed. I have nothing but praise for the dental assistants and hygienists who have worked on our teeth. They are gentle with us yet tough on any plaque or teeth issues. Dr. Sasha is very thorough and is all about preventative which we really love. He takes his time to get to know you as a person and not just another patient. Even though we might have been the tenth patient of the day, they always manage to make us feel like we are the first thanks to their top-notch service. Will was never a fan of any dentists nor was I... until here! We are thankful that we took our son here at a very young age as he does not dread dentist visits like most kids/teenagers do. This is an update from my first dental appointment. So I booked two appointments in a row in order to take care of some cavities which had developed in my teeth. The first appointment was for my right side and the other was for my left. From the moment I walked in the door I was greeted by the friendly administrative assistants as if I were a friend rather than just a patient. Some reviews here on Yelp stated that this dental office will have hidden fees. These reviews confused me because before I could even be taken back, the front office staff had me view an itemized version of the procedures being done and the way my insurance allowance was applied to those said procedures and the materials scheduled to be used on my teeth. Attached to the itemized statement is a form asking you to sign if you agree with how the insurance and cost has been applied. Before this, during my last appointment they had given me an itemized estimate of the quoted cost to take care of my cavities so then I could financially plan for it ahead of time. Upon each check-in for my two appointments the cost was explained to me and I signed the consent forms each time of my own will. This seems all pretty transparent to me. When it came to the actual procedures Dr. Sasha was very detailed and as gentle as possible. I almost selected a composite color a tad too light for my teeth and he stepped in and showed me the samples at different angles so then I could see that it was too light and helped me pick out the best color for me. Each time Dr. Sasha had to inject me with the numbing agent I could barely feel it which was new for me because usually the injection has been quite painful with my other dentist. I will admit that I could feel my hands shake and my heart race right before the process began each time. However, the technicians and Dr. Sasha were so gentle with me that I actually became very relaxed. Everything was placed in my teeth very meticulously, with Dr. Sasha making small adjustments to the ultraviolet light the technicians used when needed. The technicians were very attentive and listened to Dr. Sasha intently as he pointed things out regarding my teeth. Each technician assisting with the work on my teeth seemed very passionate regarding the quality of their work which is always great to see. I wish I could give their names because they were so great and wonderful; however, I have a pretty bad memory when it comes to remembering people's names, unfortunately. All in all, I actually enjoyed having my teeth worked on. It was interesting to observe the process and to see the level of detail which went into my teeth. The final results of the fillings were quite beautiful to look at in the pictures they had taken of the results and I am glad they showed me pictures of my teeth with the cavities removed. You could see the hard work which went into making everything look as natural and healthy as possible. I have so far been very glad to have picked Dr. Sasha as my new dentist where not only is the dentist great, but so is the rest of the staff as well. Thank you, everyone! :0) read more

At first I was really excited about this place. The scheduling was easy, the doctor seemed nice, and the office is really clean. However, it did not take long for me to start feeling like I am being pushed into treatments that I do not want. I asked for bondings, and the doctor told me that I need all 4 wisdom teeth extracted first. The doctor also told me that I have cavities on all 4 wisdom teeth, which turnt out not to be true after I saw another doctor. Also, I had a follow-up with the orthodontist in the same office, who tried to convince me to get braces and Invisalign for 1+ years. My front teeth are perfectly straight. I saw many orthodontists in the past, and every single one of them told me that I do not need braces. I just wanted bonding to fix 2 tiny gaps. After going to a beloved dentist for 24 years, I moved away. I did extensive research in locating a new dentist, and I ended up at NGD. WHAT a mistake. Do not let these 5-star reviews fool you like they did for me. Upon arrival, I was surprised by how excessively luxurious this office was. I was given a new patient gift and tour of the facilities. As I glanced at my watch (I was on my lunch), I noticed a schedule had me blocked for over TWO hours. There was no way I could take that much time, and I was never told how long the appointment would take. When I told this to the receptionist, the staff was thrown for a loop and didn't know how to handle the issue. All they were able to do is take X-rays. I was told my teeth looked great by Dr. Sasha (whom I saw for maybe 5min). Due to time & lack of communication of the appointment length, I had to make another appointment the following week. At this point, I didn't have a good feeling. But I decided that maybe I had misunderstood them when I first booked the appointment... Again, I should've gone with my gut. At my second appointment, the hygienist, who sounded *memorized*, immediately said that my teeth were bad and that I needed extensive cleaning which would 1) take *four separate* appointments and 2) wasn't covered by my insurance. This was a complete shock as I have always had great dental health. And it even contradicted with NGD Dr. Sasha had said the week prior. I requested that just the regular cleaning be done, and she informed me that she couldn't do that since she had "diagnosed" me with needing extensive cleaning. I had one quadrant done; it took less than 15 minutes. I made another appointment (then promptly canceled it later). After the appointment (where I was also overcharged - later refunded), I called my old dentist in a panic. After I explained my experience and emailed them my x-rays, I was advised to get away from NGD asap. When I went to my new current dentist, I was told that my teeth are in great shape, that I don't need extensive cleaning at all, and I was promptly in & out in a reasonable time. NO positive experience at NGD whatsoever -- wolves in sheep's clothing. read more

Wow....this is the best dentist I've been to hands down. If my childhood dentist was half as good as NGD, I'd have way better teeth and not loathe going to the dentist. Staff is 10/10 - friendly and they make the effort to get to know you. Playlist was dope and I was vibing constantly. They have Netflix and chairs that actually fit a man over 6 feet tall. Building was immaculate and the waiting room was all fancy. They have coffee or water while you wait. And the best part? they didn't murder my lower jaw when taking X-rays (because they got this sick handheld X-ray that is way faster). I have a bunch more work to get done so everybody better watch out because I'm shooting for patient of the month in December haha. Keep in mind....they told me I have a route canal....and because they're so effing awesome/care, that wasn't the worst part of my day (despite the constant throbbing). I have to say that they also all have the whitest teeth! My wait was minimal even though I arrived early. Dr O is gentle and professional as well as thoughtful and kind. I called to schedule an appointment and asked specifically if this office takes my insurance. The receptionist WOULD NOT TELL ME if they accept my insurance? I first came to this dentist after a car accident left me with a lot of chipped teeth that needed to be fixed as well as an implant to replace a missing tooth and I could not be any happier with how smoothly the entire process has been. Dr. Sasha does extraordinary work that looks great and is painless, and until coming here just the thought of going to the dentist would make me anxious, but the entire staff are all very kind and professional, and they have a lot of different accommodations available to make you more comfortable. Unlike many other places, you'll never just be sitting at the front waiting to go back and scheduling appointments could not be easier. I have been to New Generation Dentistry numerous times, and every experience has been a great one. The office is clean, and they provide many things to make your experience a more comfortable one, such as pillows, warm blankets, stress balls, and Netflix. Also, every interaction I've had with the staff has been wonderful. Everyone has been friendly, welcoming, caring, and very helpful. Dr. Sasha has done a lot of dental work for me, and he is by far one of the best dentists I've ever had. He is honest and genuinely cares about the well-being of his patients. I very much appreciate that he always takes the time to explain the procedure that he will be doing, and also takes the time to answer any questions that I might have. Dr. Sasha recently put in a crown for me (which they make right there in the office), and I was experiencing a lot of sensitivity to cold drinks and food after the procedure. During my next visit for a different procedure, he explained why I was experiencing the sensitivity, corrected my bite, and then called me that evening to see how I was doing and told me not to hesitate to call if I was still experiencing any discomfort. I've always been a bit skeptical of dentists, so a family member suggested I try this office because they are so helpful and transparent. I honestly didn't want to leave! As soon as I walked in, Gabi greeted me by name and had my breakdown on her tablet ready to explain each charge. This was my second appointment to fix the cavities we found a few weeks ago. The lobby was very clean and comfortable. I only waiting for 5 minutes, enough time to have some coffee.As soon as I headed to the back, Cindy was so sweet and got my X-rays done quickly so I wasn't too uncomfortable. They also had a great playlist going in the back that I couldn't help but dance to. There was also a menu of things they could offer me from a blanket/pillow to a stress ball to play with! I definitely asked for all the things and it was a blast. Dr. Sasha was SO kind and walked me through the fillings process and showed me where each cavity was. Everything he did was with compassion and attention to detail. Also, I got to watch NETFLIX with Bluetooth headphones!! I felt like I was at home in the couch. Finally, they were able to fit me in for a cleaning with Raquel who was great! She also did a great job explaining what she was doing and how I could floss or brush to get those problem areas she noticed. Also, the best part of all of this is that it was on a Saturday!! He recently had to go to CHOC to undergo anesthesia for his dental procedures, and she was so kind, compassionate, and informative the entire way. We feel like she really truly cares. This review is about the teeth cleaning they do, not other services. Every single time a deep cleaning is needed. No exceptions. This is the only dentist office where deep cleaning is "needed". This is what's funny though (or not so funny). I went it, the hygienist started looking at my teeth, and during all of this, somebody from the front desk came in and placed a sheet of paper on a counter. The hygienist kept looking and eventually said "yes, deep cleaning is needed". I trusted her and said ok. Then she showed me the sheet of paper that was just brought in. It had listed the procedures, the price, and I had to sign it. The thing is, deep cleaning was already on that sheet of paper, even before the hygienist "spontaneously" discovered that I "needed" deep cleaning. Since I'm not that bright, I went in a 2nd and 3rd time. Every time the same play. The invoice had deep cleaning listed even before the hygienist "discovered" I needed it. Needless to say, I stopped going there. Another thing is funny, I've been going to another dentist for a few years now, and no deep cleaning is needed. I still have my teeth and no gum infection from lack of deep cleaning. Interesting, isn't it? read more
