Not the best. This gym is old, and out dated. Coach's aren't very well trained and have so many kids in each group. Coaches are controlled by the parents within the stands which is insane as a by stander parent seeing this happen every practice.. it's actually annoying! But.. the lack of trained coaches are allowing that to take place. If it were else where I'm sure the parent would be put in check and that wouldn't happen again but here nothing is done but coaches following that parents lead. The gym is all over the place, along with the kids. There is no real leadership going on. There isn't any one on one. There's no direction for the kids what so ever. Every time it's the vibe of let's just get through this and move on to the next class. Some kids are even rude to others and again nothing is done. The cost isn't cheap either. The money doesn't go into the gym itself which it could benefit if it did... Just not impressed at all... gave it a chance and glad I got out sooner rather than later. Came here for a free try out session. Walked in, was told to go upstairs for session. Waited 10min no one was upstairs. I Came downstairs to ask if someone was coming? Front desk told me she will call some one up. Walked again upstairs and then the front desk gal said oh i guess session is down stairs. I go downstairs was not greeted was just stared at by staff no one come up until i just started walking up to remove my son's shoes. The younger girl said ok just go ahead and go... Being that this is my 1st time here, I said go where? She pointed at this rainbow looking bridge and she walked away. She was busy with another class and we were left do just do what ever..I was so pist! I could just do this at home with my kid.. What the hell?? I was over it i put my kids shoes back on and we walked back toward bleachers to put our shoes on. This place needs some serious organization and communication with their customer service. read more

This place was horrible for my child! They don't teach anything and the instructors are very rude. After my daughter tried gymnastics she left after 1 year still not knowing how to do anything. A few days later she was learning to do tricks and moves by her self. Kips showed my kid nothing. Don't waste your money on this place. read more

We signed up for an 8 week class for our five year old son here through the Corona Parks and Recreation Department. The gym was well run and the staff were very friendly. The coach who worked with my sons's class of 3-5year olds had great control and was very interactive with the children. It was well organized and a lot of fun! My son had a wonderful time and is excited to go back. The class through the Recreation Department is a great deal. The gym itself is a bit pricy. It costs $70 per month for one class a week and there is a $40 registration fee. However, they will waive the Registration fee if you sign up following a Recreation class, which is nice. My son currently takes dance at a local studio for $58 per month, so I'm not sure I can afford an additional $70 for gymnastics, but will continue to go through the recreation Department for now. read more

I thought this was going to work out great for my 6 year old daughter, but on the ride home from taking the trial class she let me know that she told the teacher she was having a hard time balancing on the beam and she was told to "SHUT UP AND LOOK FORWARD". I called in and let them know what happened and the lady very politely let me know that the trainers are young and it might have slipped out!!!!!!! We will not be back. read more

I love this place. My 3 year old takes classes every week. Coach Carol, is simply the best. She makes the stretches so much fun...they pretend they are rolling out pizza dough and then put toppings on the pizza. How much fun is that! The kids don't even know they are "stretching". She breaks down the moves so that the little kids can follow. I just really can't say enough positive things about this place. My daughter LOVES it! As do I! read more

First time at Kips for my daughter, we did a trial class then I payed for the coming month, i told the lady who signs you up that we would miss the second Saturday and asked if I could make up, she told me that i would have to do it after the class that we don't attend. then they closed for the holidays and was not able to make up class. So I paid $79.00 for one class what a ripoff. very dishonest, took my business else where. will never recommend to friends or neigh boors. read more

My boy/girl 4 yr old twins go here and it's their FAVORITE day of the week!!! Not only theirs but mine too, the mommy! I'm so over sensitive about where I take my kids and not only am I "worry free" but they LOVE it and learn SO much!! I can't say enough good things about Kips in everyway from all they are learning, having fun, professional, safty, clean, friendly, social skills, confidence, and just a hour with a smile on their little faces we just can't get enough. I've been taking my 4 & 5 year old daughters here for a month now and they love it! I see them get stronger every week. I also see how KIPs starts with the fundamentals and builds off of those. They also change activities every 15 minutes so the kids skills are well rounded and they don't get bored. Getting 4 & 5 year old sisters to stay focused for an hour is tough but so far so good! read more

My kids love their coaches and I love their prices for two or more siblings. They look forward to there weekly sessions.

A bit disappointing. They are probably great for compitions, but for a kid that is new to gymnastics, they didn't assist much. My 4 year old, and 6 year old had a free trial today. Both said that their coaches "didn't smile much". As we watched the classes, both coaches seemed as though they were not there for the kids, but just doing a job. Not a good first impression! My daughter just completed her third week. So far she absolutely loves it. Out of the three weeks she has had a sub instructor for two of them but she makes the best of it and tries to keep up. No complaints at this time. read more

My Daughter has been coming here since July 2018. Her 1st day we came in for a free lesson and had no issues. 8 months into it she has been moved up 3 times and is growing with her skills. All the coaches she's had so far have been Awesome. We will continue for as long as she wants. read more

We have gone to Kips for a total of about 2.5 years. My eight-year-old daughter has always enjoyed attending the classes. She has fun and learns challenging skills that strengthen her upper body, flexibility, balance and coordination. The coaches are skilled in training and are very patient with students at different levels. I have seen her advance through the years. We love Kips and will continue attending. read more

My daughter was a student at KIPS last year and I'm very disappointed at how they run things here. I knew my daughters skill level was much more advanced then the little ones they were placing her with (5-6 year olds). I had to constantly talk to the front desk personal and ask them to evaluate her; she was way past round offs, back bends and cartwheels! I feel they judged her by her age and tiny frame and never moved her up. Then come to find out she had been on a waiting list for about 6 months to move her up but there wasn't any "room" in a higher level class!! They purposely kept her at a lower skill level class because they were short staffed. So wrong..Waste of my money here for a whole year and half. She also received an invitation to try out for their team they have here, which I wasn't allowed to stay and watch the try out and of course she didn't make it lol I called BS! She had all her skills needed for the team. After ignoring my emails questioning what it was she needed to work on since they probably had no answer for me, I received a call to try and sell me privates with a coach while waiting for the next try outs. I alternatively then signed her up for the tumbling class they offered; still trying to keep some faith at KIPS, and she was again misplaced in a very low skilled class throwing SOMERSAULTS and working on back bends???! We were out! After letting them know we were no longer gonna attend, KIPS had no problem letting me go and showed no desire to keep me as a customer or even ask what the problem was. They simply said "Okay you need to pay for the 2 classes she attended this month." Goes to show we were just another number here. My daughter is now at another gym and at just 7 years old, already has her back hand springs, with great tight body positions as a flyer. Glad we left and took her skills elsewhere. Don't come here unless you plan on your child slowly progressing! read more

My little girl loves coming here. She enjoys it a lot. The instructors seem really nice to all the girls. She's learned a few moves since she's started and wish we had time to come more often during the week. The only thing is they don't have auto debit for the monthly fee, so you have to remember to pay them at the beginning of the month or they'll charge you a late fee of $5. read more

Visited just this once, and can say that I will probably not go back. It was for my friend's Daughter's 4th birthday party. There were two hosts from Kipps. I have a 22 mo old who was quickly in tears because of the rude male that was supposed to be one of the party hosts. He was quickly frazzled and did not have an ounce of patience with the kids. Not sure why he was even assigned to host a 4 year olds party with an attitude like he had. He expected my 22 mo old to do the warm up "exactly the way he was instructing" or else he could nhot participate in the party because he might not be "warmed up and get hurt"! Really? I tried to explain to him that a 22 mo old does not know how to jump like a frog or side shuffle, but he did not care. Finally the other party host decided he was out of line and let my child run around and warm himself up. From that moment on the Girl host did every ounce of work. I even heard her ask him quite a few times for his help with and activity or game only to have him walk off and find something like the music that was more important. The only time I seen him offer his assistance was when it was time to eat and it seemed like he only wanted to be invited to share in the pizza. Once he was offered some, he quickly grabbed some pizza and surprise surprise...he disappeared. He did return to notify the party mom in font of everyone that they can carry the gifts to the car because the time was up. Unless she wanted to pay for the extra half-hour! Then he sat at the counter on the way out "watching" the goody bags while the girl host cleaned up all the mess. We helped her which she politely kept telling us that we did not have to. Just to be clear....SHE WAS AWESOME! She coutld have and for the most part ran the whole party on her own!!! Our visit was on Sunday, July, 28th. read more

This place is great. The teachers are very friendly with young kids. The front staff are nice. Classes are one hour per week. They train the kids very well. My 4 and 7 year olds love going here. read more

I am a 70 year old grandfather and I wanted to have a party for my six year old grand daughter and her friends. A neighbor suggested Kips Gymnastics as something different and possibly exciting for the young children. She had suggested Elizabeth (Lizzy) and several other girls, as "party leaders", that is what she called them, but I think they are really gymnastic coaches. I found Lizzy to be one of the nicest young ladies, I have meant in a long time, she was patient with all of the children, especially with two of the kids who were developmentally disabled. Honestly, I don't believe that I would have the patients to take on handling a dozen kids from four to six years old. Both of the girls, did a great job, but Lizzy made herding cats seem easy. It was really neat, seeing the look of accomplishment for the kids as they learned to do somersaults and even one learned to do a cartwheel.. very impressive. I know where we are going next year.
