This place is saur cute. This is the popular photo spot where you can find the huge ass Miffy rabbit with an aloha lei on it. They also have their limited Waikīkī Miffy apparel located here - I feel like this would be a great souvenir. What's also great is that dean and deluca is right across so after you browse Miffy you can get a drink across the way. LOL. I feel like Miffy is always at a higher price point but I guess it's extremely popular so I get it, lol.

I love this place but they're egregiously expensive. Like to the point it's robbery. I wanted this yellow hat and it would've been 50$ after tax. I love miffy so they almost got me but it's just a crime. also there's plushies here at ~45$ that you can get in japan / amsterdam for literally HALF the price. that's an insane markup.

Kira x Miffy is easily one of the cutest shops I have ever visited. The moment I stepped inside, I felt like I had entered a tiny world filled with happiness. If you love Miffy even a little, this place is honestly dangerous because everything is so adorable that you might lose all self-control. I am not exaggerating when I say I wanted to buy every single plush toy the second I saw them. The designs are charming, the quality looks great, and each item feels special enough to collect rather than just purchase as a simple souvenir. The shop itself is not very large, but that is actually part of its charm. Instead of feeling cramped, it feels cozy and thoughtfully curated. Every shelf is packed with cute merchandise, yet nothing looks messy or overwhelming. You can slowly browse without feeling rushed, and it becomes surprisingly easy to spend a long time just looking at everything. I always tell myself I am only going to stop by for a few minutes, and somehow I end up staying much longer because there is always something new to notice. The biggest struggle here is the price. I truly wanted to walk out with multiple plush toys, but they are not cheap, so I had to limit myself to just one. Even so, choosing that one item took forever because everything was equally tempting. Despite the prices, the happiness I felt while shopping made it worth it. Honestly, this is the kind of place where even browsing without buying much can lift your mood instantly. One thing that made my visit even better was the staff. The male employee who helped me was incredibly kind and welcoming without being overly attentive. Sometimes in small specialty shops you can feel pressured to buy something, but that was not the case at all. His friendly attitude made the entire experience more comfortable and enjoyable, and great service like that always leaves a lasting impression. What I love most about this place is how it makes me feel every time I visit. Just walking in and seeing rows of adorable Miffy plushies puts me in a good mood immediately. It is rare for a store to create that kind of emotional reaction, but this one absolutely does. I often catch myself thinking about going back even when I do not need anything, simply because browsing there makes me happy. Overall, this is the type of shop that makes you want to return again and again. It may be small, but it delivers a surprisingly big experience. Whether you are a serious Miffy collector or just someone who enjoys cute and well-made merchandise, it is definitely worth a visit. I already have a strong feeling I will be back soon and will probably end up buying more than I planned. Honestly, if my budget allowed it, I would be there all the time.

What a fun and fantastic store to visit Miffy!!! Found out about this collaboration from Instagram. The original designer from Netherlands created such a lovable simple character with charm and timeless fun. This store also has limited Hawaiian edition of Miffy. There should be more stores like this. The staff are friendly and helpful. Great selection and value. In the Royal Hawaiian Shopping Center directly across from the Sheraton Waikīkī Hotel, Building B. They validate parking.

There was a huge selection of different miffy items and I really appreciated how many Hawai'i exclusive merch they had. This Kira x Miffy store was a lot larger than the one in SF too. That being said, the prices were very expensive for plushies so just set low expectations. The little pouches and zipper bags ranged from $10-$18 and stickers were around $4 each.

Update: Christine from Kira sent me a message to give me additional insights into the products that are sold at the store. Here's what she said: "The mini Hawaiian doll dresses are made by a local seamstress in Waikiki with authentic Palaka print fabric - that is iconic to Hawaii. You might see people wearing this fabric as dresses, shorts and even bags! We also get our mugs made by a local vendor on island - less than 6 miles away from the shop. They've been around since the 70's and still printing for many of the businesses on island." I did not know and apologize for my assumptions! This was a learning moment for me and I appreciate the feedback.

This is a very cute store located in the Royal Hawaiian Center in Oahu Hawaii. They have all kinds of cute stuff. We went here a few months ago while we're on vacation in Waikiki. It is pricey, but there aren't a lot of locations in US. From my understanding, there are only 3 total. 1 in San Francisco and 2 in Hawaii. Highly recommended if you are in Oahu. My kid got a few items of Miffy.

A store for Kira x Miffy caught my wife's eye and she had to go in! Pretty cute stuff animals, apparel, babags, etc. She wanted to buy everything. But she should great self-control. I must admit, I was surprised. Anyways a great little store showcasing very cute and adorable things.

If you love Miffy, come here. Albeit, expensive. But super kitschy, super kawaii, super healing my inner child.

This is a cute store across from Dean and Deluce. Customer service was good and the merchandise is also super cute. There's one in SF, but they don't have all the Hawaii limited goodies. I'd definitely return with my little one in the future.

I've been loving Miffy lately & I wanted to check out their store in Waikiki to pick up an olive green Plush. Unfortunately they didn't have the color in stock so my husband helped me decide on a color. I chose this creamy white Miffy which has accessories on her already. The sale associate informed me each item on her would be an extra charge, I kindly declined although the little lei and flower clip was quite cute. I had a hard time deciding if I wanted any other Miffy merch but I had to resist the urge. The corduroy fabric is high quality. Cant wait to pass her down to our future kids!

Ahhhh I love miffy! This was a must-visit store I had to come to during my trip. I was stoked to see the Hawaii-exclusive items which were adorable. It is quite pricey (especially the plushies), but the smaller pouches/stickers/keychains weren't too bad. I would've bought the whole store if I could. Definitely check it out if you happen to be in the area!

Cute store and collab. Good selection of items. Ended up picking up a tote bag $48 along with an exclusive T-shirt in light blue and a few of their small pouches. There were also chopstick holders, a rice holder, several dolls, and bags. Super cute items.

This review is based solely on my experience with the staff during my visit today…read more I've shopped at Pink Box multiple times in the past and have never had any issues, which is why this experience was disappointing. My mom and I stopped in because she was looking for earrings. She had mentioned before that Pink Box has cute selections at reasonable prices, so we decided to browse. While she was looking at earrings and pointing out styles she liked, I was helping her look through them. For context, I don't even wear earrings since I have large gauges, so I wasn't shopping for myself in that section. Afterward, I moved over to the claw clips and was looking through some butterfly clips to see if they came in matching colors. A sales associate approached us and asked if we needed help. We politely said no thank you and continued browsing. What made us uncomfortable was that after that interaction, the employee remained very close to us and appeared to be watching us the entire time. When we moved to a different area, she followed. Whether intentional or not, it felt as though we were being monitored because she suspected we might steal something. My mom and I both noticed it, and it made the shopping experience uncomfortable. We are paying customers who have visited this store before and have never given anyone a reason to be suspicious of us. I understand that retail employees have a job to do, but there is a difference between being attentive and making customers feel like they're under surveillance. Unfortunately, because of that experience, we didn't feel welcome during our visit.

Definitely worth a stop if you're into kawaii, Japanese goodies and stationery, but also could be worth being aware of which characters are currently featured. A lot of the items, such as their various stickers, are reasonably and fairly priced -- more so than other similar shops. Vivid print quality too. Other items were tad too pricey for me to justify (e.g. $8 for a very tiny thin canvas drawstring bag and other small pouches in the $30+ range).

Shopping in Chinatown, Honolulu, Hawaii…read more.. My mom was on the hunt for Year of the Dragon shirts for my sister in Colorado, my nephew, and my nieces. We went to Walmart, Don Quijote, Dillingham Shirt Outlet, and Maunakea Street in Chinatown. She found shirts at Jessica's Jewelryand Gifts, but she didn't get a shirt for my nephew's girlfriend. In a panic, mom called me to go back to Jessica's. They were sold out. Only XL gray shirts were left. I entered Maunakea Marketplace, where I had dropped her off the other day, but she didn't walk far enough in... to get to YaFangShi Fashion. On the day before Lunar New Year, I saw many shirts of various colors and different designs hanging outside a shop! Inside, the clothes were neatly folded, and the dresses were hanging for better viewing. OMG... It was like t-shirt heaven! The shop was called YaFangShi Fashion. The friendly owner introduced herself and said that her name was Lian and that she's been here for 24 years! I had passed by often... and even bought a lavender-colored Cony umbrella, but didn't know the name of the shop. Looking around, Lian even had dresses, tops, jackets, footwear, accessories, and pants! I got a navy blue, medium-sized Year of the Dragon shirt for my nephew's girlfriend and gave it to mom to give to her on Lunar New Year. Everyone was happy! Yay! Happy Lunar New Year of the Wood Dragon!
