Kira x Miffy is easily one of the cutest shops I have ever visited. The moment I stepped inside, I felt like I had entered a tiny world filled with happiness. If you love Miffy even a little, this place is honestly dangerous because everything is so adorable that you might lose all self-control. I am not exaggerating when I say I wanted to buy every single plush toy the second I saw them. The designs are charming, the quality looks great, and each item feels special enough to collect rather than just purchase as a simple souvenir. The shop itself is not very large, but that is actually part of its charm. Instead of feeling cramped, it feels cozy and thoughtfully curated. Every shelf is packed with cute merchandise, yet nothing looks messy or overwhelming. You can slowly browse without feeling rushed, and it becomes surprisingly easy to spend a long time just looking at everything. I always tell myself I am only going to stop by for a few minutes, and somehow I end up staying much longer because there is always something new to notice. The biggest struggle here is the price. I truly wanted to walk out with multiple plush toys, but they are not cheap, so I had to limit myself to just one. Even so, choosing that one item took forever because everything was equally tempting. Despite the prices, the happiness I felt while shopping made it worth it. Honestly, this is the kind of place where even browsing without buying much can lift your mood instantly. One thing that made my visit even better was the staff. The male employee who helped me was incredibly kind and welcoming without being overly attentive. Sometimes in small specialty shops you can feel pressured to buy something, but that was not the case at all. His friendly attitude made the entire experience more comfortable and enjoyable, and great service like that always leaves a lasting impression. What I love most about this place is how it makes me feel every time I visit. Just walking in and seeing rows of adorable Miffy plushies puts me in a good mood immediately. It is rare for a store to create that kind of emotional reaction, but this one absolutely does. I often catch myself thinking about going back even when I do not need anything, simply because browsing there makes me happy. Overall, this is the type of shop that makes you want to return again and again. It may be small, but it delivers a surprisingly big experience. Whether you are a serious Miffy collector or just someone who enjoys cute and well-made merchandise, it is definitely worth a visit. This place is saur cute. This is the popular photo spot where you can find the huge ass Miffy rabbit with an aloha lei on it. They also have their limited Waikīkī Miffy apparel located here - I feel like this would be a great souvenir. What's also great is that dean and deluca is right across so after you browse Miffy you can get a drink across the way. LOL. I feel like Miffy is always at a higher price point but I guess it's extremely popular so I get it, lol. read more

What a fun and fantastic store to visit Miffy!!! Found out about this collaboration from Instagram. The original designer from Netherlands created such a lovable simple character with charm and timeless fun. This store also has limited Hawaiian edition of Miffy. There was a huge selection of different miffy items and I really appreciated how many Hawai'i exclusive merch they had. This Kira x Miffy store was a lot larger than the one in SF too. Super cute store with kind, thoughtful employee when I visited. Really fun to browse around but notably high priced for what it is, hence the 4 stars instead of 5. I really wish the items were just even a few dollars lower to be reasonable and comparable to some other similar shops. I noticed a lot of enthusiastic people leaving the store empty handed, which felt like such a bummer. For instance, some acrylic keychains are in the $14 range. A small Miffy plushie in a Hawaiian dress is $60. These prices felt hard to justify without regret, but I did justify a fun Miffy hair clip ($20!) that I'm already using and a Hawaii Miffy sticker to keep in my travel journal. read more

Such a cute store!!! I love everything Miffy, and they have a great assortment from apparel to plushies to magnets. The items can be a bit pricey though, like some hair clips were more than $15. The workers there are extremely nice and even encouraged me to try on a sweater when I was contemplating how it looked with me just holding it in front of a mirror. Here's what she said: "The mini Hawaiian doll dresses are made by a local seamstress in Waikiki with authentic Palaka print fabric - that is iconic to Hawaii. You might see people wearing this fabric as dresses, shorts and even bags! We also get our mugs made by a local vendor on island - less than 6 miles away from the shop. They've been around since the 70's and still printing for many of the businesses on island." I did not know and apologize for my assumptions! This is a very cute store located in the Royal Hawaiian Center in Oahu Hawaii. They have all kinds of cute stuff. We went here a few months ago while we're on vacation in Waikiki. It is pricey, but there aren't a lot of locations in US. From my understanding, there are only 3 total. 1 in San Francisco and 2 in Hawaii. Highly recommended if you are in Oahu. I've been loving Miffy lately & I wanted to check out their store in Waikiki to pick up an olive green Plush. Unfortunately they didn't have the color in stock so my husband helped me decide on a color. I chose this creamy white Miffy which has accessories on her already. The sale associate informed me each item on her would be an extra charge, I kindly declined although the little lei and flower clip was quite cute. I had a hard time deciding if I wanted any other Miffy merch but I had to resist the urge. The corduroy fabric is high quality. Cant wait to pass her down to our future kids! read more

There's a location in San Francisco that carries Miffy that I've visited before, but the Waikiki shop is much bigger and had more variety. I really wanted to take home a Miffy doll, but I literally did not have the luggage room! I purchased a few Hawaii stickers and I'm really happy with them. Literally the cutest little shop! We stumbled upon this place while looking around the mall and it did not disappoint! Such a cute little shop! If you're staying at the Hawaiian Sheraton Waikiki, its super close for those quick little drop-ins when you're going to and from your hotel. They have products for kids and adults who love Miffy, Kira apparel, or just cute things in general. Shopping in Waikiki, Honolulu, Hawaii... Miffy, the white bunny from Holland, finally came to Hawaii! She partnered with Kira, a children's clothing and accessories brand, and made their shop on the Ground Floor of the Royal Hawaiian Center! Look for Building B and go towards the Sheraton Waikiki Hotel... it's near the end of a row of shops. The first day of business was 10-13-20. It was delayed because of the Pandemic, but persevered! Current Hours of Operation are from 11am to 7pm daily. Parking (at this time) is free for 3 hours with any purchase. Just remember to ask the store for a validation sticker! Insert the parking ticket in the machine before entering your vehicle and exiting the structure. Service is friendly, efficient, and helpful! I was shown the Miffy wine corks, bottle openers, pillow, trivets, soft, gauze blankets, night lights, and more! The sweet gal brought down the last t-shirt that was hanging from a very high rack. It's mine now! She wrapped all of my purchases (pencil, sticker, luggage tag, coffee mug, and pencil) neatly and included a cute business card in the bag! I didn't buy everything so that I can come back and get 3 hours of parking again... haha! Maybe I should get the bag and the trinket box? read more

Very cute store and items but the customer service was terrible. The girl who helped us was rude and had a negative attitude the whole time we were there even though we were the only customers the whole time. I asked if I could open and look at the clear box of scrunchies and hair accessories on the shelf, but she didn't want me touching it and made me look only at the bowl of them on the other shelf. When I figured out how to open the box later, she came over and asked if there was a specific one I wanted to look at and when I said no, she closed the box so I couldn't keep looking inside. It also seemed like she was watching us the whole time but not in a helpful way, more like a distrustful way. It made me extremely uncomfortable being in there, and I would've hoped for better customer service. I gave 2 stars instead of just 1 because this store is super cute and has a wide selection of stickers, jewelry, hair accessories, and more for both kids and adults that are one of a kind. They also wrap your purchase in cute tissue and close it with their sticker. I'm all about supporting local businesses, but I hated the treatment we got, and I wouldn't recommend this store if you want a pleasant shopping experience.
