I took a look at the gym and then I want to the computer room and use one of the computer for a little bit and there was a free eye exam next door and I sign up for it. It is a very nice community that can get a new upgrade soon I hope.

They just opened a skate park and splash pad but there isn't any water on now. There is trash everywhere and the grass is high. I was here a few months ago and it was really nice. Seems it has been abandoned which is truly sad. It sits beside an orphanage type place. It should be a great community place and sadly is just being ignored.

We've been here MANY times for birthday parties and church functions. Every time I've been has been…read morein the same room, however I'm sure there are also other rooms for rent. The particular room we always use for church has an attached kitchen with a small room between the kitchen and main area. That's always where the food gets set up when we have church dinners. There's a wall of windows and the opposite wall has some large mirrors on it. There's a short hallway near one entrance where there's a men and women's bathroom. I believe there's also a water fountain, but I'm not 100% positive. It's a great space for events... even though it smells kind of musty. The only thing is that you have to be a resident of Webster to rent a space and the guy you speak to is often hard to reach. Don't bother calling, he won't call you back. You have to email him and even then, be patient. The last part is not really a big deal unless you're the one renting. If you're just attending then it doesn't matter how hard he is to reach.

There are several entrances and it is not immediately clear which is the main entrance, but the staff are friendly and will direct you to where you need to go. There is a large parking lot to the south of the building. The double yellow lines on S. Rice Avenue do not align with entrances of the parking lot, suggesting the city needs to repaint those, as everyone who needs to turn left out of the parking lot does so illegally.

This particularly moment, my dad's friend, who works for NASA invited my dad and his family on a tour through NASA, an area that isn't open to the general public. So right there, I knew this experience would be memorable and well worth it. Truly, this has been one of the best top experiences: my dad's friend was so knowledgeable about the whole tour. However, before we got to tour we had to put on special badges according to the guards to make sure other personnel know that we were going to look around. I learned a lot about NASA with all the shuttles, that they actually build some of the things in the facility, sometimes engineering students work in the lab and build robots, all the controls in the shuttles and how space life is. We even had the opportunity to tour and walk through a few of the shuttles which was super cool.

The Neutral Buoyancy Laboratory (NBL) is an astronaut training facility located at the Sonny Carter…read moreTraining Facility near NASA's Johnson Space Center. The NBL consists of a large indoor pool of water (40 feet deep, 202 feet long, and 102 feet wide. In other words, this is a big ass pool, of which I recently spent parts of 2 days learning boat- and helicopter-related survival training. And yes, I can honestly say that I trained with (or at least near) the astronauts! We also had the chance (via a special visor) to see 2 astronauts perform simulated task in preparation for upcoming missions. Deep down in the pool are full-sized mock-ups of the International Space Station (ISS) modules and payloads, and visiting vehicles from other National programs. The principle of neutral buoyancy is used to simulate the weightless environment of space. What we say was the astronauts (in 300# space suits) lowered and raised in and out of the pool using an overhead crane. Once in the water, the suited astronauts are weighted in the water by support divers so that they experience minimal buoyant force and minimal rotational moment about their center of mass. Multiple divers surround the astronauts during their entire training exercise. It was a very cool thing to watch and appreciate. Postscript - Who was Sonny Carter? M. L. "Sonny" Carter, was instrumental in developing many of the current space-walking techniques used by the astronauts. Carter was selected into the astronaut program in 1984 and flew into space STS-33 aboard the Space Shuttle Discovery. He was training as a crew member aboard STS-42 when on April 5, 1991, he died in a commuter plane crash near New Brunswick, Georgia. Before he became an astronaut, Carter was a Navy doctor and aviator, and a soccer player for the North American Soccer league.

The elevator can take you into tunnel or directly onto street level and parking. They have a floor which shows all the former mayors including Hofienz. The bathrooms are concealed and it will take a little time to access them. Bring your own drink to class. I did not see any nearby vending machines. Ask the front desk about how you qualify for free parking. Different levels of access for those stopping by security. For most to access building, you will pass through security.

The area in front of city hall has a huge reflecting pool of sorts with a decent sized green space surrounding it. They provide park benches for patrons to sit and get away from their stressful workday. During the week they have the farmers market here and special events such as the Rodeo Round-Up are held in this space. The way it is structured makes it easy for events to be set-up and broken down with ease.
