Also, I love that the entire front of the building is covered and has shade because it's nice to walk there if you just want to stretch your legs, etc. The front entrance also has a separate ramp to get up if you're not able to use the stairs!

We passed more refineries then I have ever seen in my life. It was basically a dirty dingy air polluted ride down here. There are NO stores at all at the cruise terminal. You have to stand outside in the elements with no shelter or even a wind break. In 36 degree temperatures and a 25 knot wind it was COLD. This cruise port is literally out in the middle of nowhere. The only thing to look at is refineries. The bus drops you off. Your baggage gets tossed out onto the ground. (I am not kidding). You hope someone will do something with it while you go stand in line outside and freeze. Yuk!

I've been on the road for two weeks and I was thinking about it being time to empty the "black water" tank in the RV when I passed this way. Super easy and completely free to pull up to the spot, dump out the tank, run the proper rinse through it and head onwards, minus several gallons of used food. Simple, level, clean. The only improvements I might offer would be to include a short hose (I'm guessing they did but it got stolen) and a trash bin for tossing my used latex gloves (probably a challenge to empty it way out here in nowhere). The neighborhood is within 2 minutes of 288 and about 5 minutes of Beltway 8. It's fairly quiet but, there was once a few months back, I could hear a raucous party at a neighbor who live 400-500 feet away and no one called the cops. At any rate, this a quiet and fairly safe area of town and I'm happy to call it home for the time being.

Another branch was the only branch to have it. I've enjoyed visiting various branches and since getting my library card. This library is really nice! Spacious and clean. There's ample seating with pods, open tables, private meeting/study rooms, and a lovely balcony area with more seating. There's an elevator as well- accessible. My initial visit was during the holidays so there was lots of decor. Librarians/Library staff were friendly and helpful. When I'm in the area, I'll definitely return!

The room was clean, the outlets worked great and it's such a nice place to work on things. This library in particular, the room bookings are so hard to come by because it must be very popular or desirable, so I have to book way in advance. But it was definitely worth it!

Most residents will recognize their annual events, such as the Christmas Boat Parade on Clear Lake, the Epicurean Evening highlighting local cuisine, and Business Expo. The CLACC facility itself is modest located at the base of the I-45 NASA Bypass on NASA parkway just east of El Camino. Not easy to get to if coming from I-45, but if coming from Clear Lake on the right just before you enter the bypass. A reception desk can get you any information you need regarding local tourism, hotels, restaurants, etc. Not overwhelmingly fancy. A few parking spots out front, otherwise it's on the side or back. Local businesses can find affordable membership (my company is a member) which includes appreciable access to tools and promotion on social media and the CLACC webpage. There are a number of member events throughout the year including monthly luncheons with keynote business speakers, after hours socials, and golf/bowling tournaments. Currently there are approximately 900 businesses in the Chamber, with a focus on the aerospace, tourism, marine, education, and medical industries among others. The motto of the Chamber is "Champions for Business Success and Quality of Life in Our Community" which about sums it up.
