I added interior appliance cleaning for an extra $30. Claudia and Marjory did a fantastic job: including windows and floors!! After I booked the appointment, Julio checked back with me several times and confirmed well in advance. Claudia and Marjory arrived on time, and were very professional. They managed their time very well--when we arrived back at the condo after three hours, they were just finishing up and asked us to inspect their work, which was perfect! My daughter had been living in the same condo for about a year and had a terrible experience with a different cleaning company that charged $270 for only TWO hours (two cleaners), and did not do windows, floors, or the interior of appliances. Kirei has cleaned my apartment many times. However, recently I texted them twice to have my apartment cleaned, and never heard from them. I posted a bad review on them, and they immediately texted me to set up an appointment. It was great to have such a quick response, and Julio really is a very nice guy. I've used them 3 times now but I'm not sure if I'll use them again. They showed up early each time - like, 45 minutes early! - which meant I wasn't ready for them yet. They did a pretty good job of the cleaning but I specifically said that all the ceilings needed vacuumed, and after they'd finished I could still see some HUGE cobwebs. Like, how could you not see these? So that was kind of disappointing. The rates are good though. read more

I had my first cleaning with Kirei today. They sent 2 maids and one was excellent (Susan) but the other one (Amy) who did not speak English, was lazy and passive aggressive. Susan hustled and did 65% of the work. Amy did 10% and 25% was left undone. I had asked Amy to clean the rice cooker and steam toaster oven. I stood in front of the appliances and made washing gestures. She nodded and understood what I wanted. She did not do them. She cleaned only the kitchen while Susan did the rest of the house. Even that one room was not clean. She did not wash the floor properly, still very dirty. The faucet was not cleaned. The dishes were not unloaded from the dishwasher. The stuff she washed by hand were left piled up on the stove. Garbage was left beside the trash can and not thrown out. I have had my house cleaned by many cleaners. It should have taken 1 hour to clean the kitchen properly; she had two. I asked Susan if Amy was new and she told me that Amy had been with the company for 1.5 years while she herself had only worked for a year there. I asked if they always worked in the same team and she replied, 'yes'. Too bad, I will not have them back again. UPDATE: Kirei responded quickly to my complaint. Mindy, the manager, was understanding and wanted to make things right. She offered me a free hour of cleaning which I will use in 2 weeks. I will update my review then. Incredible!! The best money spent on a move out clean. Moving is not fun and I had to organize painters, carpet cleaning and a move out clean. I couldn't be at the apartment so the painter let the team in. They coordinated with the painter on my behalf making my life so much easier. I called around and finally found, Kirei, who could come at the last minute. They did a fantastic job cleaning my carpets!! I have never written a Yelp review but had such an awful experience with Kirei that I felt compelled to. I contacted them through their website about a week ago. I got a call from someone from the company saying they would send me an email with a quote. After several back and forth phone calls I never received the email, even though I confirmed my address several times and checked my spam folder. This seemed a bit fishy but they then offered me a quote via text and we scheduled a date/time for the cleaning. At the scheduled date/time, no one showed up. I texted and asked if they were coming and they responded by saying they mixed up the time and would be able to come three hours later. I was pretty unhappy about this but said ok. Three hours later, they still did not show up. I texted them to see if they were still coming and got no response. That was yesterday. I still have received no response. I'm not sure how this company has so many positive reviews with such terrible service - it makes me wonder if they are fake. read more

Kirei cleaning did a great job. My landlords replace the carpets right before we moved in two years ago, and they certainly didn't break the bank on quality. Low pile woven beige that has seen it's fair share of shoes, food and wine spills in the dining area and beyond. My carpeted area is only 650 square feet and in a highrise, and after not hearing back from several companies and one no-show finally Julio came around to give me a quote. On the day of the service his team sent me a text 20 mins ahead of time as asked so I could come home from work to meet them. The job was quick and thorough (just over an hour), no super strong chemical smells and it didn't take too long to dry. I told them not to bother under the large furniture since it hadn't been moved since we moved in and I knew it was pristine. After the carpets dried I moved the couch and happily saw that the colour was seamless. I will hire them annually for sure. Friendly, reliable, quality work and the price was fair. I had used Kirei cleaning in 2017 or so and it was so amazing it was my first yelp review! Im obsessive about reading reviews to choose services and am very discerning ie if I think the person writing the review could be biased or have extenuating circumstances i factor that into my ultimate decision and what that could mean in why the review was written that way. Anyway I booked kirei again this March, they were amazing. And then recently i used yelps request a quote feature and booked though another company, not for any reason i think they just quoted a cheap price. That company cancelled on me last minute because of a booking error.. and I went back to Kirei. Julio and his team came through on short notice to fill the originally booked time and did an incredible job. It also ended up being $30 cheaper than the other company who said they were promoting a discount! I gave most of it back as a tip because Julio and his team deserve it.
