I got my first big head in Pensacola at Home Goods/TJMAXX there. lol That location is very small but it's very nice & is always well stocked. I did pick up some guava cookies and headed to the registers. I love the smell of world market as you walk through. It smells like a beach home if that makes sense. As I was waiting to check out, I saw a sticker spot for Dubai chocolate eggs?! I asked if they would be getting them in stock but they had no idea when they would be here or what they look like so I will be back soon.

I found little cardinal charms & bought one for myself, my mom, and my grandma, plus a Safety Harbor ornament to put on my Christmas tree. It looks super big, but once you sit in it, it actually floats you nicely on top of the water (see photo) so it's easy to get in and out of this one. It's also super durable, made really well OuiOui. I also think it's the prettiest one I have found, I love the ice blue color, and it's def the most durable. We love our pool floats. We also use them at the beach, at our Beachhouse, carry them to hotels when we travel. We are the float experts. Hahaha. LOVE our Zen super chill poolside good vibes weekends with our new Funsickle chill out chairs chilling with the 2 big heads! lol We highly recommend the blue lagoon Fun sickle chill out chair. No complaints; I was a huge fan of Pier 1, so I'm excited to have discovered this. However the space was overcrowded with merchandise. Not that I even saw any available, but you would not be able to maneuver a cart in here & I'd be worried that even walking around with a shopping basket would end up bouncing off displays or other shoppers. I stopped in late July & the fall decor was out in full swing already, so that might've contributed to the overcrowded feeling, and I can only imagine it getting worse as Christmas inventory arrives too.

I think that's an apt description. Apparently the Popshelf chain is owned by Dollar General. It feels like an elevated dollar store experience, except most items are more than $1. There was a little bit of everything-home goods, cosmetics, toys, cleaning supplies, arts & crafts, pet stuff, snacks, and more. It's one of those stores where you go because you have an idea of something you want to buy but nothing specific, so you just browse around and see what you can find. I can't imagine shopping here all the time, but I'll stop in from time to time to see what kind of goodies I might be able to find.

In the back is a large selection of candy which is very well priced. My husband found Necco wafers for $1.00 compared to $1.79. It's all self checkout, the girl was very friendly and helpful with my nail polish. I wish it wasn't so far from my house, I hope they open one in the St Pete area soon. I recommend checking it out.

So, I deliberated for months on whether I should write an honest review; reviews are powerful. This…read morewas a very bad experience. Adrienne and I had friction almost immediately because she misrepresented her availability ( she wasn't available for a month) and refused to create a written design for the living room. It wasn't "how she worked". Another source of friction was her trade discount. She told me that she had discounts through Houzz, but she did not participate in retail trade programs and these discounts can be substantial. Through a rental business, I had access to multiple discount programs. This meant I did all the ordering, tracking and scheduling. Adrienne did not have access to "trade only" distributors in NC at all. So, I am stuck with a cheap, way too small rug for my living room, cheap looking light fixtures. She checked out half way through. My husband and I reviewed the contract after a month of working with her. The bottom line was that we should have insisted on a smaller initial payment. Instead, I tried to trudge through and now have to hire another designer. She did not have any contractors! She used the wallpaper installer that I found for a family member! Nothing was easy with her. At our first meeting, she bragged about her "Northeast work ethic". My husband still jokes out that. HARD lesson learned.
