I looked EVERYWHERE! We tried all the Floats. ALL OF THEM. LOL The "Funsickle Blue Lagoon chill out chair" I found here at Hobby Lobby is the best one we have found OuiOui. It looks super big, but once you sit in it, it actually floats you nicely on top of the water (see photo) so it's easy to get in and out of this one. It's also super durable, made really well OuiOui. I also think it's the prettiest one I have found, I love the ice blue color, and it's def the most durable. We love our pool floats. We also use them at the beach, at our Beachhouse, carry them to hotels when we travel. We are the float experts. Hahaha. LOVE our Zen super chill poolside good vibes weekends with our new Funsickle chill out chairs chilling with the 2 big heads! lol We highly recommend the blue lagoon Fun sickle chill out chair. Huge store; I've never been to a Hobby Lobby and was overwhelmed by the size of the store. Next time, I'll walk around to see all the different products they offer. I love the large selection of jigsaw puzzles. Arranged by number of pieces and manufacturer. Very easy to shop for these here. Prices clearly marked and seemed reasonable. read more

I went in with a plan, I had no time to lolly gag. Looked and looked for a specific item (which I looked it up on your website and there it was). A glue called BARGE. I asked a sales associate where this BARGE was located and she said "all glue is located up front". Ok where up front? Do you have this particular glue? Yes, its up front. OK I know the girls are busy and they were hastefully stocking up for Christmas (or restocking). Busy as beavers, however I could not get anyone to help me. Hobby Lobby is a must-visit for anyone who enjoys arts and crafts. Their selection is extensive, from fine arts supplies, to plastic models kits, interesting home decor, kid-friendly projects, and stuff for most any craft you can imagine. Their prices are really fair too. I have a hobby item I buy regularly and they have it here for 1/3 less than anywhere else, even online. I've never experienced slow service here. I was making a simple return. They have one line for returns and exchanges. But they also use it as a checkout lane. I waited behind three people checking out who could've gone to other lanes to make their purchases. I even asked an employee and she told me I had to wait. I will never return to Hobby Lobby again. This store is part of a national chain that sells hobby and fabric items. This brand new store is located in the Sunset Point Shopping Center at the southwest corner of the intersection of Sunset Point and US 19 N in Clearwater. It occupies the space that once housed the Sports Authority and Staples. It is an enormous store. Even though it had just opened, the store was amply stocked. I have never been inside one before but it is very impressive. I have never seen such a variety of crafts and various household items either. They have crafts from leather work, models, art supplies. artificial plants, fabric and so much more. The staff was friendly and greeted me throughout the store. The store was immaculately clean and easy to get around. I didn't feel claustrophobic as I have in other craft stores. You should stop by and check them out. They're a great new addition to our shopping choices here in Clearwater and in the Tampa Bay area. read more

This was my first time going to hobby lobby - I had always heard so much about it including their religious and political views but had never checked it out. I was curious... I walked in and was a little overwhelmed in a good way! It's a party store, crafty store and home decor store all in one! The store is huge and has great sales, coupons and items! I got a gund stuffed animal for 40% off which is usually unheard of. The aisles were nicely organized. The only down fall was that one employee was wearing the mask under their nose which is one of my biggest pet peeves during this time. I was able to get a bunch of cute home trinkets while also getting thanksgiving plates, craft items for the cricut, stocking stuffers and browsing Christmas sections. The store is easy to get to and in the same plaza as bed bath and beyond. If you're never been, you definitely need to check it out! read more

30 minutes to wait for fabric to be cut? Not acceptable. Then another 10 minutes at checkout over a .50 cent price discrepancy? WWJD? Not make a customer wait 10 minutes for a price check over a lousy .50 cents, that's for sure!!!! This was the STORE MANAGER and the ASSISTANT STORE MANAGER at that. Huge store with great selection & one of my favorite places to find seasonal decor. Just stopped in recently to pick up Christmas stockings for my boyfriend & I, then made another stop this week to get some ornaments and some wrapping paper as we prep for holiday parties and secret Santa exchanges at work. Nearly all their Christmas stuff is 50% off right now so we got the stockings for around $5 each, the 2 heavy duty, over the mantel hooks for them for $6, then I got the ornaments for $3 each & the wrapping paper for $4. I also wandered around their beach themed decor for a bit and their arts & craft stuff too, but as I was checking out I saw they had a section for small furniture so I know I'll be back to check that out soon too. read more

Not very happy with Hobby Lobby, Clearwater. i have been attending this store since it's opening. Apparently since the influx of people moving here, they are having a lot of theft. 2nd time this has happened to my daughter and I, of employees accusing us of theft. Yesterday we were at their Clearwater store down the Tim Holtz aisle looking at products when along came a heavy set employee staring at us. I was then adjusting my daughter's purse backpack on her back when another employee who I think was the Asian manager came down and was pretending to look at things, when clearly I heard the the heavyset employee tell her, " I don't trust those 2" Then 2 other employees were at the other end! 1st I'm a cardiovascular RN and I don't need to steal your products, I also have a degree in Criminal Law 2nd the other time I was in, I came to exchange a product with a valid receipt and the person at the door literally accused me of stealing the item when I had bought it the night before at your store! Same product but I needed a different color and product was not opened and I had your receipt! This is not the way to treat customers, as it is I will now be doing my business at Michaels, JoAnns and Amazon. You can not have regular employees handling customers for theft, take some advise from Walmart or your store will soon be closing by losing customers! read more

So I recently got into painting. Find it very meditative and relaxing. I needed an arsenal of acrylic paints and hobby lobby popped up. I've never been in one before but my goodness this place is like home goods and a craft store had a beautiful baby that always is on discounted prices and well stocked. The employees always know what is in this massive selection and overly friendly. They are top notch. My only reason for deducting a star is every items needs to get fang on manually vs scanning. Then the cashier needs to know what sales are going on and key in that code. This is quite a new location so not sure why we are in such old technology for the cashiers...who are awesome read more

Nice thing, but I have very bad experience in this locations. My first time there I was there 7:50 I going around 10 minutes some decorations for my new apartment , one employees stared follow us and told us we close you have to go,didn't know the time the store closed at 8 l had some things in my hand to buy but I felt so sad how We was treated, we just let we expect they give us few more minutes to grab few more thing we need but they just whan to close. read more

Walked into Hobby Lobby for the first time and it exceeded my expectations! I'm a huge fans of Michaels since it's close to home but decided to pop in and check out the talk of it this place while in the area. They had really cute merchandise that is very stylish and practical for home decor. I came in with two things specifically in mind. I asked one gentleman for assistance who was beyond helpful in reaching my new lamp. I asked another woman for a specific item and was unsure of her self and told me they didn't have what I was looking for after checking one or two isles....BUMMER!! Today was my first ever experience with a HL store. I've been anxious to check it out for a while and they had sent me a 40% off coupon in the mail that was about to expire, so today was the day. This store is HUGE. I mean YUGEEE. It's like Michaels meets Joann meets Old time Pottery barn all in one. Need fabric? Check. Wall decor? Check. Crafts and art project stuff? Check. Seasonal items? Check. You get the idea I enjoyed strolling around here a bit. They have a lot of fun stuff for great prices. The general style of their home decor tends to be southern/chic/rustic. I liked all the travel themed decor. There's also lots, and I mean lots of religious based signs, posters, etc. They are a Christian owned company after all. The only problem I had was they didn't actually have what I came for - a soap dish for the bathroom. I looked around a lot and didn't see any. I did get some hanging hooks and when I went to check out, I asked the lady if they had any soap dishes. She couldn't give a specific answer or offer to have someone help me look. She said "I think maybe we have some metal ones but not sure". I didn't want metal anyway, so I gave up and moved on with my life. They have these huge fancy flowers you don't find at Micheals. I upholstered some stools and the fabric was good quality, great price. The farmstyle decor makes me smile everytime. Growing up the hobby stores I was familiar with devoted their shelves to model building, train sets, radio control boats, cars and aviation! I took an Awesome painting class at the Clearwater Hobby Lobby. I saw a flyer when i walked in and I've been seeing this paint pouring videos online and wanted to try it with out messing it up. The girl giving the class was very informative and fun and I came home with 3 gorgeous pieces of art! I was able to pick up all my supplies right there at the lobby with a 40% coupon. So, here's the thing with hobby lobby......it takes forever to check out, and my purchase has been incorrectly rung up every single time I've been there. I love the selection at this store.....I love the deals at this store.....but what the hell with the archaic checkout system!!! They have people punching buttons on registers like what you see in episodes of the old Flintstones cartoon. Literally!! They do NOT, I repeat, do NOT utilize scanners. That's insane!! I've been here 3 times and all 3 times, my purchase was incorrectly rung up. After waiting in line for what felt like an eternity....I asked the cashier if their system was down, and if that was why they were manually ringing up everyone's items. Her response was that the store manager wants all the employees to know every single deal at the store and he feels the best way to do this is by making them manually key everything in. WHAT?!?! You are forcing your customers to take on the responsibility of quality control. I now have to track what I'm buying, what the deal is on that item, and intently watch the cashier as they push the buttons. Oh Sweetie.....that's just an unrealistic expectation of your employees. Not only that, it is extremely burdensome on your patrons. That store is way too big, and has way to many sales for you to force your employees to know every single one. In the world of six sigma, we call this 'muda' which means waste. If you want to know if your employees are learning your product and any deals associated with them, simply give them an online assessment. Mandate a passing score, and include this in their performance reviews. Don't shove this down my throat and make it my problem as your customer. Because of this.....I find myself avoiding hobby lobby because I simply don't want to have to wait in line, and don't want to have to track the deals on my purchase, and inspect every button my cashier is pushing to ensure accuracy. I go to Old Time Pottery instead. Quick, easy, no stress of tracking deals, and they have comparable items. Easy, peasy, lemon squeezy. read more
