They also drove me to my office while they did the work on my car and picked me up at the end of the day when they were finished. Danis had my mother's car a Chrysler PT Cruiser 2002 to just replace her car battery and that's was it, she already purchased a car battery and just need a garage to take the old one out and replace it with the new one, that was a short of simple job to do, for a professional mechanic, but when my half sister Crystal Landry called to see if he was done with my mother's Linda Landry's car he answered the phone calmly and then started to jump down my half-sisters throat screaming at her that he will not be fucking bossed around about his work and when to do it, and he was pretty slanders about it, and refused to work on my mothers car "NOW", all cause my half-sister Crystal Landry called and asked him if her car was done yet?? And it will take me about 15 minutes to pick her up to bring her over to pick up her car if it's done? My half-sister Crystal had her girlfriend listen on the phone as Ethan J. Danis was screaming at her over the phone and saying, "Fuck You" and I won't Work on your mother's car, you can come and pick it up and go some place else with it and have them do the job!!! And it was just a simple job for a "Professional" Auto-Mechanic if he was one in the first place, but by the looks of it he could not even do a simple break job on the car head of my mothers car, and in fact my mother called him her self after my half-sister called and she asked what was up, and why he refused to do the work on her car to replace the battery? He started "Yelling" and "Screaming" at her over the phone too and bashing her that because my half-sister Crystal Landry called him earlier to ask him if my mother's car was done yet, so she could bring her to come pick it up and fallow her home, because she has things to do tonight and get home early. He was also saying he was having a hard time working on the car before my mothers car and it was a break job and he was having a hard time at doing it, and he would not be able to get to her car yet and he does not want to be told what to do or when to "fucking" do it!! Neither my mother nor my half-sister Crystal Landry was speaking to him over the phone in any manner of to tell him how to do his job or when to do it, they was just asking if he was done replacing the battery yet, because he told them it be done with in an hour or so, the most as long as there was No complications during the job, then just about an Hour and Half the most. So, you see he gave them estimated time when to expect the battery replacement job be done. So, You and your daughter can come get your car its all charged up and you can come get it now!!! And he hanged up on my mother. (He just charged the old battery so it could startup, but he did not even do that, he just tore my mother's steering wheel cover off her steering wheel and left it that way.) So, Ethan J. Danis is Abusive Auto-machinic and not a good person to do business with at all!!! All he had to do was tell my mother or half-sister he can't get to her car yet; cause he's having trouble on another job he's doing and her's will just have to wait till tomorrow. And my mother and half-sister would accept that and would of understand that he's having troubles with another car, and she just have to wait till tomorrow for her battery replacement job to be done is all. And he had my mother's vehicle overnight too, since 4:15 PM Est, October 19th, 2021, through to Wednesday October 20th, 2021, time 4:30 PM Est. When my mother got there to pick up her car, he was still inside in the garage working on someone else car and he was making a lot of noise too, and my mother just got her keys to her car and left with her car.

These were small things and the overall job was very well done, especially the dash detail work and the carpeting/mats and we really appreciated his high quality work on our vehicle. In our experience for some 33 plus years, we have received only the best, kind, courteous, and professional service from Gary, and now his son Stephan, at Kirkpatrick's. These people have always been there for us with the best service at a reasonable price. Yeah, sure, you could go to some Quickie-Lube and pay less bucks. But, for what Kirkpatrick's ACTUALLY does in a proper oil change you get more than your money's worth. No skimping! As for their professional major and minor auto repairs, you will pay for what you truly need for your vehicle and not one cent more. In fact, they will advise you on ways to save in a repair scenario if there are any options available. They're not in it for the bucks with a slam and dunk approach. They have been there for the long haul in getting the plethora of repeat, steady, and dedicated customers. That's not been just my experience, but also the experience of a host of many family members, friends, associates, and people in passing. They simply are the best, hands down! But, when things are going great with folks you deal with, oftentimes things are just taken for granted, and thus the status quo rules, with seemingly no time made for positive reviews. You can tell Gary, the owner, loves his job and employs gents who feel the same way. Specializing in foreign cars, Gary and team have never led me astray, patronized me, nor strongholded me into work that my two Hondas didn't need. Honest and hardworking, they'll take you back into the shop, show you the car, the part, what's working/not working, what needs to be fixed/not fixed and what may/ may not be coming down the pike for work to be done. I've had work done by other mechanics in the greater capital region, been taken for a ride & finally found out about Kirkpatrick's by word of mouth. Honest and reputable, they stand by their genuine parts and work - if they've fixed it and (for some reason) it comes undone, they'll remedy it for free. Need oil changes, engine work, tune ups and flushes? Go to Kirkpatrick's. Worth the price because you're paying for genuine hard work, parts and honesty and supporting an independent mechanic. Sorry to hear that Whiskey was unhappy. I have been doing business with Kirkpatrick's for almost 30 years and have been very happy with their service, everything from oil changes to transmission replacement. They ALWAYS have the car ready when they say they will, and do high quality work. Just one small example: they couldn't buy brushes for the starter in my old Subaru, but they had noticed that Toyota brushes were identical, so they charged a few dollars for replacing the brushes instead of buying a rebuilt starter. read more

Shannon was not pushy at all, gave us space to look, and was extremely knowledgeable. Had Dale Green or one of his mechanics change the oil in my car, and when I brought it home, I…read moreheard a loud rattling noise from the top of the engine, which wasn't there when I brought the car to him that morning. After taking it back to him 3 times and being charged for his labor and parts each time, he said the noise was caused by a bad camshaft and weak lifters, which he estimated would cost $2000 to fix. So, I took my car to another mechanic who removed the valve cover to diagnose the problem. When he removed the valve cover, he found 3 large pieces of steel sitting on the top of the engine that were broken off from the corner of the steel splash plate that is riveted to the upper inside of the valve cover. The corner that was broken off was directly beneath the opening for the oil reservoir/bottle, meaning someone shoved something into the hole so hard that it broke the steel splash plate. My car is now undrivable because there are minuscule steel fragments floating around my engine in the oil, and it will cost $7000 to rebuild. Beware.
