The Basement - Arcade, Game Tables, Virtual Reality, Rock Climbing and Party Rooms is in the lower level and is open to all guests. Check-In was seamless where I received my wristband which was hood for the entire day. There is an elevator for those with strollers, wheelchairs, scooters or mobility challenges who can't do the stairs. I spent my time in the adults only area and practically had the space all to myself. There's an LED screen where the main pool is that plays music videos from a variety of artists. Once you get hungry from all that activity, Decibels has good and drinks. There's also a full bar in the adults only area. It was a perfect way to relax and wind down from a very BUSY conference. Wish I could've spent more time there! The SoundWaves store has a variety of items such as swimwear, towels, hats, sunscreen and toiletries.

I checked the hours today to help plan my trip and... guess what... It'll be closed again! For the whole time we're there! Maybe someday I'll get to check this place out, so long as I come on a Saturday from 2:00-2:15 PM when they're actually open. Not to mention, there's no other pool in this massive city of a resort where you can literally get sushi by a waterfall and watch light and water dances over a pond like you're at EPCOT. WTF!

The smell is horrendous, at first I just thought ok they need to repair something.. but it's been like this for the past several years now!! Each year it's the same thing! On a windy day, trying to lay out or eat by the wave pool is a consistent smell of sh-t! Another thing is you want to charge the high prices for food, I get it.. but please have some type of management looking after the concessions, more so the people working them! Waiting in line as long as you do is ridiculous! There seems to be extra people working behind the counter but you might only have 1,2 out of 7 actually working, and then the sense of urgency is definitely not there! They need management to manage the employees

The food was decent park food with your normal tenders, pizza, options. Parking was easy and getting thru check in didn't take too long either. I caught tickets during a holiday sell but it's a great place for the family and friends.

But while Beech Bend isn't as nearly as well known or have as high profile coasters as those parks, it shouldn't be ignored. This is because Beech Bend has an excellent thrilling coaster in Kentucky Rumbler, which is a relatively smooth wooden coaster that is filled with a mix of forces and airtime that will make you want to go on it again and again. Additionally, Beech Bend has some very interesting flat rides you generally only see at fairs, but here you ride them over and over again instead of having to pay per ride. Plus, admission is quite affordable, especially if you buy it in advance, and parking is free, so Beech Bend will not set you back a lot. With that in mind, Beech Bend, while it lacks the high profile coasters of the parks that surround it, is a nice, charming, and affordable small park that should not be missed if you are in the area.

Started our day on the water slides and ended with the Kentucky Thunder. I didn't expect it to be such a thrilling ride and it was fast! The story behind the Sea Dragon was so interesting! The food could have been a bit more fresh but it wasn't too bad. Oh, and we stayed until closing for the fireworks! Overall, it was a good time with the family and I would go back.
