I highly recommend purchasing your tickets online in advance because you will save time and money that way. I believe it is more expensive if you buy tickets at the front booths. That, plus you can schedule an arrival time. Parking is free too so that's a plus! They have plenty of fun family activities to do: gem mining, barrel rides, slides, kids playground areas etc. This is definitely a great spot to bring your kids for some fun in the outdoors! I love their Cedar Glade Trail was a nice little walk for our family and we got to see all the adorable animals! They had Racoons, emu's, goats, capybaras, prairie dogs and red foxes! They also have a bunch more animals towards the front for guests to see. We loved the peacocks. The aviary is a nice spot for guests to walk around and feed the birds. They also had an area with a couple bunnies for guests to pet. There's plenty of other animals they have but it would much to long to mention them all! Almost all of the animals looked happy and had a very spacious habitat to enjoy. Well worth the $16 entrance fee! We will be back for future events!

As a birthday gift to one of our friends, we paid to have our boys go to Splat That and enjoy some free range artistic abilities. They had so much using their palette and enjoying. The freedom to put paint anywhere. LITERALLY. Kirsten was our host and she is amazing and super approachable for the children. There was a variety of paint colors to use along with stencils, canvas colors, paint tools and everything. We got geared up in coveralls to protect clothes [but I still recommend wearing play clothes] and then the boys had the room to themselves to create their art! Getting wild at the rumpus room!…read more It was our first time visiting the Rumpus Room and we were so excited to check it out. If you're looking for a fun, clean place to take the kiddos on those cold or rainy days, this is the spot! It's so quaint and such a fantastic idea. There are a few different play areas like a Veterinarian Clinic, construction zone, and cafe for the kiddos to engage in some imaginary play. Additionally, they have a sectioned off area specifically for babies and infants. The Rumpus Room is not only locally owned, but the owner, Haley, is female and a veteran....how freaking bad ass!! You can tell that she and her hubby have out so much heart into this cute place. You can also see all of the potential and vision they are working hard to bring out growing community. You can chose to play for an hour or better yet, a membership to have unlimited play time! We drove an hour and half for a "beer garden" and were sorely disappointed. Their kitchen was also closed (always on Saturdays apparently) which was not apparent from their website. I recommend the managers update the website to provide more accurate information. Otherwise, as stated, it is a great play place.
