They had an event this past weekend, Elfin Around. I run a business with a friend and we were a…read morevendor at this event. The event was terrible. All the customers were rude. Now I know that's not their fault, but they had these bingo cards for the customers to take and fill out at each vendor. Most of the customers were ONLY concerned about the bingo card and getting their free prize. We don't think this helps local vendors at all! Especially lack of spreading the news about said event. We sent them an email regarding our concerns and how this bingo thing wasn't exactly a great idea, especially if the idea is to help out vendors, not just your store. And we also stated was wanted a refund. They wrote back and said that whatever time we have with the customer is on us and that we should "try harder" to sell our products. They denied us our refund and were rude near the end of the email. And they also blamed us for not putting the event out there as to why we didn't get more customers. And whoever customers showed up, were rude and threw the bingo cards at us to stamp while talking to whoever they came with. Tell me, how are you supposed to sell an item to people who aren't even acknowledging you're there? Mind you, we've gone to this event a couple times in the past. The first couple of times was fine, since we were getting our foot in the door. But the event before this one, they didn't even make sure to put the correct address on whatever advertising they had. Any time this place tries to do an event, it's very unorganized and A LOT of vendors don't get any sales because of the free door prizes they offer to the people JUST FOR SHOWING UP. I don't think this helps any vendors. It wastes our time and our hard work that we put into getting things ready and set up for such events. This was part of the email that we were sent: "The decision to use the Bingo cards was multifold. Its main purpose is to make sure that our shoppers get to experience ALL of our vendors through the building (not including the store). It also allows people to stop for a moment at your booth. You can do what you want with that moment you have with those customers. The opportunity maybe was not taken to talk about your product or get them involved with your items. That is again unfortunate and reflected in your sales. Even if they were rude to you as you say, it would have been up to you as an ambassador of your created items, to put a smile on your face and turn them around to buy." We've been doing craft shows for a couple of years now and that is not how it should be ran. Other vendors were packing up and leaving the event hours before it ended because it was so slow and they were getting the same treatment. We talked with surrounding vendors(as we always due at events) and they didn't do any better than we did and they were just as frustrated with how bad the turnout was.

I loved the selection of imported food items which are sometimes difficult to find. And, they also have a great artwork select selection. This is my go to for decorating as well. Check out staff was super helpful and friendly which made a crazy busy shopping day so much more enjoyable.

We spent an hour in there looking at gift items, holiday, jewelry, decor, children's and tourist/Cedarburg products. This would definitely be the place to go when shopping for a birthday, baby, bridal or housewarming gift. The variety was impressive. There were no empty spaces yet it was easy to shop. The price point was very reasonable and they have a sale area as well. The woman at the front desk of the store was super sweet. She was so friendly and chit chatted with us as if we were old friends. There is something so sweet about customer service like this. It made me want to return the next time I am in town.

If you have any kind of yard, patio or deck, you'll be able to find the perfect accessory to give it a little pizzaz. The staff was so sweet and helpful. The woman that was there the day I visited was so pleasant. She was knowledgeable and made some great suggestions. Located in the heart of the shopping hub, you can't miss it. All the colorful goodies will call you in. I'm so glad I stopped to check everything out!
