My family physician had told me he would not refer me outside of my insurance, and she seemed scattered in her words, which only created more confusion and didn't make sense. This lack of clear communication was frustrating. A month later, when I called to follow up, she reiterated the same confusing response, now asking whether I had registered online and had my insurance details ready which she never told me at the beginning. When I clarified that I would complete the registration right after the call, she finally confirmed that my appointment had been scheduled. What??? The overall handling of my appointment was inefficient and unprofessional, and I felt that my time was not respected & wasted. I hope this feedback can be taken seriously to ensure a more courteous and organized experience for future patients. Dr. Tam should really......really look into this and address.
