When I pointed this out, she casually said it would "look like the pictures in 8 weeks." I was shocked and humiliated. During the haircut, she even told me twice not to cross my legs--something I've never experienced at any salon. I asked to switch stylists, and was told I'd have to pay extra, even though the issue was not my fault. Ruby then claimed that because I agreed to a graduation in the back--which she suggested--she had to ignore my other requests. I cried in my car on the way home, devastated. $160+tax for a ruined haircut and a traumatizing experience. I can only hope no one else has to go through this. Without exaggeration, this was the worst salon experience of my life.

I can't say enough great things about Kiss by Katie. I have used her services in my personal and professional life on many occasions. I'm an event coordinator for a local wedding venue. We have contracted Kiss by Katy to do hair and make -up on all of our clients that have engagement photos done at our venue. She is always very accommodating and the scheduling process always goes very smoothly. Every single time the ladies come out with flawless hair and make up. She is so talented and a real professional. My sister in law and I also love to hire her for special events in our lives. Most recently she did my hair and make-up for my head shot. I got so many compliments, she really did a great job!! I have a very uneven skin tone and after she was done with me my skin looked flawless!! Every bride wants to feel flawless on their wedding day and Katie does not disappoint. I work A ALOT of long hours, so planning my wedding was a struggle, when picking out vendors I had to be sure they were flexible and easy to trust, and that is how Katie was. She is quick to respond to emails and super easy to work with. All I did was show her some pinterest pages and she knew exactly what I was looking for. She was also a joy to spend my day with, she was just like one of the girls just hanging out and joking with us. And her work, speaks for itself. I felt PERFECT on my day, my hair and make up was gorgeous. My best friends and guests said so as well. At the end of the trial we talked about what I liked and didn't. We tweaked the look a couple of times and took some photos in the sun so that I could get an idea of how my make-up would look for my outdoor wedding. On the day of the wedding Avery was a dream to work with. She was on-time to the site where we were getting ready, and was set-up before the first "appointment" time of the day. She brought an assistant with her to help with the bridal party, and her assistant was also top notch. All of us left that day feeling like pampered beauty queens. Varying from full on glamour girl to an "I rarely wear make-up" tom boy, Avery customized each look to the person's desired result. And my day of make-up was EVEN BETTER than my trial run. She was able to put together exactly what I wanted and I have never felt more beautiful. I looked like a brighter version of my daily self without feeling overly made up or like a drag queen.
