Kimberly is the best stylist/colorist I've ever had and I've had quite a few, all over the states! She's got loads of experience and keeps current with a lot of education, really listens, and gently talks me down from anything crazy that won't work with my hair. I initially saw her to correct a horrible haircut I got elsewhere and since have been three times for high/lowlights and cuts. 5 Stars doesn't do Dolce Salon, or the owner, Cris, justice!!! Let me take you on a little journey, if I may... I started my career as a Realtor® at a small brokerage in February 2020--right before the world shut down. Keeping my hair in top shape wasn't exactly a priority. Most days, I'd throw it up or braid it to the side--always professional, but never something I gave much thought to. Fast forward three years, and a great new opportunity had presented itself career-wise--woohoo! But my hair? It had grown past the small of my back, riddled with split ends that would make Miss Havisham blush. The idea of walking into a salon after years of neglect filled me with dread. Would I be met with judgment? A lecture on my choice of shampoo? Thankfully, Cris at Dolce Salon made sure that wasn't my experience at all! She was incredibly kind, gave me a fantastic cut, and even shared expert advice on how to properly care for my hair. Since my first visit in 2023, I haven't let anyone else touch it! Prior to my cut, my hair was uneven, ends going every which way. I showed Cris a photo, she warned that the "layers" and uneven lengths might require time to balance them out.
