What a shame about all the one & two star reviews! We've never had the issues other Yelpers are complaining about. Conveniently located downtown Tigard and reasonably priced. Better for the environment because you're not wasting water in your own driveway and no mess to clean up after. Plus they recycle all the water and all soaps, rinses, and wax are eco-friendly and biodegradable. Lots of options to choose from and no plastic brushes. All vehicles are washed with soft cloths to protect the shine. Prices start around $10 for an exterior only wash and goes up to $36.95 for the deluxe wash. You can also purchase Wash Booklets if you know you're going to be a regular customer. For example, a full service wash book of five will cost you about $120 (not including tip) and is quite convenient and a money saver too. Wait time is minimal but a little more busy at lunch time and on the weekends. I appreciate the convenience and being able to support businesses close to home. read more

I took one of our manager's vehicles here for a wash and clean out. When I picked up the car the attendant said "looks very good." I was very appreciative and thanked them. On the drive back to the office I noticed a lot of dust had been missed on the dashboard. It didnt seem like they had wiped down anything at all. When I got back to the office and looked at the rest of the car I was so disappointed. It doesn't look like it has been vacuumed or wiped out at all. Not really sure what I as charged for. This establishment charges premium prices for exceptionally poor service. The attention to detail is nonexistent -- I paid for the 'deluxe' package, only to receive the worst service I've ever experienced. Water marks, stains, and careless work were everywhere. KISS Car Wash - I had the opportunity this morning to get my car washed, inside and out, at the KISS Car wash in downtown Tigard. The wash was fine, as usual. The inside cleaning was disappointing. It took them a while to get to the car, but there were only 3 folks working, I went inside the waiting room and got lost in my phone. I wasn't in a hurry. When I noticed they were working on the car it seemed to go quickly. Too quickly, apparently. I'd had my car done there in the past, and they seemed to take some pride in what they do. Not this time. It appears they did a real light overall tidying. Now, my dog had pranced all over the back seat with muddy paws, I really didn't expect much there - honestly, but the rest of the car wasn't that bad to start with. When they were 'finished' there were crumbs still in the creases on the seat (where a vacuum would have taken care of it), the dash had been wiped, but looks like with a dirty cloth, the windows weren't very clean, and there was even debris on the floor. Now I understand the difference between a detailing and a cleaning - but for $25.00 I expect clean to be clean. I went over to the man who took my money, and he indicated he wasn't responsible for the interior cleaners. That's when Raúl walked up. He didn't really seem interested in listening much. A man in a black pick-up pulled in (it was 10am and it seem the new shift was arriving). He seemed to be the boss and just said, "we don't detail, that's detailing". Well, they really had done a poor job of 'cleaning' for $25.00. They also didn't care to take another swipe at it. It really looks like nobody double checked anything. I've used them in the past, I won't waste my money there again. I really feel taken advantage of. It felt like 'well this is inflation and that's you get for $25 now.' And if KISS Car Wash isn't responsible for the interior cleaners, they shouldn't be accepting the money for them as a 'seamless' service. BEWARE! My Mazda 3 (clearly a hatchback) was determined to be charged as a Full-Service SUV, Truck, or Van for $42.95. I disagreed with the attendant and explained that I had been coming to Kiss Car Wash for years and had never been charged that amount for my car. We went back and forth a few times, and he told me he could call the manager and assured me he would say the same thing. Stupidly, I gave up because people were waiting behind me. I paid $42.95. When I got to the cleaning station, I asked to speak to the manager. The manager agreed that I had been overcharged, but said I couldn't be refunded because it had already been charged to my card. That isn't correct and I know it and I am sure he knew it. He added "tire dressing and scent" as compensation, but getting my car washed shouldn't be such a hassle and I won't return. read more

I've been here in the Portland area for about two weeks and I hadn't gotten a chance to wash my car yet after the long drive from Katy, TX (bad move on my part) I stopped in here at Kiss Car Wash hoping for the best. The attendant, Junior was extremely nice. I chose my wash option and went through. Initially The job looked good to me, but as I began to take a picture to post, I noticed not all the big juice had come off the front. I asked Junior if I could possibly go through again, and he agreed with no problem. He was genuinely happy I was giving them another chance. After the second run, I saw that there was still a little bug juice, but after 32 hours plus 2 weeks of sitting, I didn't expect it all to come off doing a drive through wash. I was pleased with the job and I was walking over to tell Junior thank you when the manager, Christian asked me if everything was okay. I explained about going through a second time, and he asked me if they hit all the bug juice off this time. I told him there was just a little left, but it was okay under the circumstances. He insisted I let them do another wash to get it right. Now my car is bug free, looks great, and the folks here have earned my repeat business. This is how customer service should be done. Absolute worst experience. I got a free coupon from my dealership and came here to use it. They did all the pre-wash foam on my car. I gave them the coupon and they said it was expired. There was no date or anything on it and I had just gotten it from a dealership they partner with. They made me back out of the wash I was already halfway in... and made all the cars behind me back up so I could get out, with foam still on my car. The suv has way more interior glass and space than my pickup. My pickup is only 2.25 feet longer and it's for sure they don't clean the bed! They don't clean the tires anymore. I have had the car for a year now and it's always been hand washed by me. Right now it's 32 degrees and the car is fithly inside and out. It's just too damn cold outside to wash and vacuum it. Driven past Kiss car wash in Tigard a thousand times and never considered it until now. Mixed reviews here, people either love it or hate it. Well they are wiping down the inside right now, I will let you know when it's done. Ok so after about 20 minutes and $22 I conclude that I got my money's worth with the full service. Remember this is not a all day $300 plus detail shop, it's a wash and vacuum service. Could I have done better in an hour myself, yes and no. The rubber floor mats came out really clean, the dash looked great. When I dry the car I do a better job, clean and dry the door jams etc... There were still water dripping on the car and any dust between then and when it dries will leave a dirt spot. Still going to give them 5 stars, got what I felt was a fair deal. read more

If I could give zero stars I would. I paid $35.95 for a FULL SERVICE car wash. They didn't even wipe down the car they let it get spotted up and a full service car wash for $35.95 doesn't include a tire dressing which takes 3 seconds per tire. I also had to ask for a towel to wipe down the interior that wasn't wiped. I wasn't even asked if he could do it, he basically threw me a towel so I could. So guess what, I gave myself his tip. I have used Kiss for 2 years now, and until today, I found them adequate and able. Today changed everything. As usual, I paid for the service in advance, received a receipt, and placed it on my dashboard, but before I could get the window rolled up, I received a mop to the face and shoulder. The inside of my car was soaked. As you can imagine, I hollered hey, and all I received from the rude and poorly trained staff member was an insincere. "Sorry about that." After going through the wash, I drove to the drying station where I explained what happened. I asked for a towel to dry off and asked that they make sure the insides were dried. Neither happened. That staff member made no apology and wasn't surprised by what happened. To show you just how wet i got, I'm within three hours later, and my shirt and car door are still quite damp. Customer Service like this deserves neither my business nor respect. I can not recommend this establishment. read more

I go to them regularly and always appreciate their service. My car looks 100 % better and with high pollens counts it's essential.

The wash part works okay, if your car isn't too dirty... then it may need to go through again. The hand-wipedown, however, is just basic. The inside windshield still has a film, the outside mirrors had spots and the ALL the nooks and crannies have dirt and pollen. Basically, they just wipe down the large surfaces. I ended up going over a few spots (edges) with window cleaner and paper towels, when I got home and that worked. But then, the whole point of going to the carwash is to avoid doing that. ON the other hand, the car was really dirty, and I can see how getting it perfect could take an hour or two, So if you just need a basic wash, it's okay. Me.. I'm heading to a real 'detailer'. I was told that they would be charging me SUV prices, since my prius has a hatchback (have never had to pay that before but they seem to be under new management). My truck was filthy with a couple years of road crud, but they saw all that when I drove up and asked if they would clean it, and they said they would, including the wheels. They asked what option I wanted and I said want everything very clean but no sealing or waxing. They charged me $39. When they were done, the wheels were missed and I pointed that out and the guy went around and hit them with some spray cleaner and a cursory wipe, but they were still filthy. I offered another$20 to take another stab at they wheels but they waved me off. They did a fair job vacuuming and wiping down windows, but the exterior is still filthy. Didn't notice until I got it home that even the exterior paint was still dirty. I thought maybe it was beyond cleaning so gave it a shot myself, cleaning one wheel and one quarterpanel to my satisfaction in about 10 minutes so know its possible. I wont be back... read more

I pull up and was RUDELY told that they don't allow Range Rovers in the car wash any longer because they are "to delicate." Apparently a Range Rover was damaged recently and it cost them over a thousand dollars to repair it. I said "I'll take responsibility, I've been bringing my cars here for 2 years." I was told they just put new brushes in and it could still do damage. I said "It's fine, I won't hold you responsible." They agreed and I ask if they are doing full service, he said no. Well, this happened today at Kiss carwash in Tigard. Asked for the most expensive service, $48 for a small SUV. On the sign it CLEARLY says exterior wash/interior clean. So the attendant asked me "inside OR out"? WHAT? I said BOTH, of course! I'm paying almost $50!! As if you'd get inside OR outside but not both?! After leaving my car with the guys, i sat down, and a lady waiting for her car came over and asked if I'd come here before, I said yes, and she asked if a tip is expected. I said I've been there 3 times before and always left a tip. But I also told her to check the work before tipping to make sure their work was tipworthy. They called her over and I watched her look inside and sure enough, more work ensued for quite a while. Finally she drove away. Then I got the wave. First thing, checked the back. Dirt on the outside edge right above the license plate. Clearly visible. Guy quickly shook a rag at it, no change so I took it and wiped it down myself. Opened the back right passenger door, crumbs clearly visible. Same on the other side. Front seat same, not vaccumed thoroughly. Something stuck on the passenger seat hadnt been removed. I could go on and on. Out of total frustration I kind of yelled "what is WRONG with you guys? Why can't you do a good job?" The oldest guy didnt snap back at me, but then, i dont think English is their first language. It's not like my car is old and beatup -- it's 2 years old. Something also smelled like BO in the water tubs or something. Gross. I got in my car and said NO TIP and the man said "that's ok." Drove away and parked. Looked in the middle console and it hadn't been touched -- crumbs, small bits of paper still there. That was the final straw. I went online and tried to send them an email but I kept getting the "captcha" code wrong. But I didnt; they just say you entered it incorrectly because they don't want any feedback. So I'm forced to give feedback on a public forum. Do NOT give your $$ to this business unless you want to get really irritated and feel duped. Go to Kaady and do your own vacuuming. It's pretty hard to find a full-service car wash in the Portland area! After much research, I discovered Kiss. They did a decent job on the car, maybe didn't spend as much time cleaning the inside as I'd like, but it still beats me doing it myself. Drive in, pay the guy, put the car in neutral and enjoy the suds, then drive it to the full-serve area, where they will vacuum and wipe down the inside of the car, plus get off any water spots on the outside and clean the tires (if you opted for that extra). It was hot outside and no shade to sit in but they were quick and it didn't take too long. The deluxe price for a car is $17.95 - about what I paid in California without a coupon. So, thumbs up for my first time at this car wash. read more

$6 for regular wash $8 for upgraded wash The drive thru wash itself is short lived and noticeably did not get a lot of the dirt and grime off my car. Unlike some other car washes they did not wash/brush/hose down my car before hand. Inside the wash there are not a ton of brushes and the dryer portion was near non existant. It's not terrible if you're looking for a quick fix but not recommended for the money. However, I did see that they had a full-service area off to the side. This is likely the way to go. read more

The drive-thru wash is certainly not as thorough as it should be, but the real reason to go to this place is the full-service treatment. $20 gets my SUV clean inside and out and a blast of your choice of overpowering scented air freshener. The big downside is the line can be pretty long on a nice day, but they have benches and a small indoor waiting area as well. Their website is out of date and doesn't have prices for mid-size vehicles like mine. I wonder if that means they have discounted the 10-wash ticket books (~20% off) for mid-size cars as well.
