2 Egg Veggie Omelet with Hash Browns
    Erin T.

Stopped in for breakfast before heading back home. The place was packed but we were seated quickly. I ordered a 2 egg veggie omelet which was loaded with goodies. The hashbrowns were the best I have ever had. I requested mushrooms and onions. My boyfriend ordered the Meat Lovers Omelet with order of hashbrowns with double onions. He thought the same as me.....AMAZING!! We chatted with Johnny for a bit. Had to let him know how much we love his food and his staff was great, too! We will be back when in the area and highly recommend!!

5 stars for friendly service, one of the owners was awesome. Food was ok not a ton of seasoning or flavor could have been what I ordered. Everything hot fresh to order. I will give them another try and get something different.

I am fence sitting here between 3 and 4, but will lean to 4 at the moment. The place is really nice on the inside. Very 50's motif with a counter and stools as well as the booths and tables. Full line of Breakfast (served all day) and lunch and dinner. The waitress was great. Very attentive and friendly. The food was great (for the most part). Corned-beef Hash is made on site and tasted really good. Not too much potato to ruin it. Very well seasoned. The home fries were great as well. Most places they are bland but these were well seasoned. Wife had caramel apple french toast. The apple was freshly diced, not the pie filling junk. Carmel was warm and drizzled over the whipped cream. We also got a side of biscuits and gravy. This was a fail in our books. Homemade gravy is not really hard, especially if you are frying bacon and or sausage. The powder junk just tastes bad. So that went to the dumpster. So my only issue really was the over all price. Hash with eggs and toast, French Toast and biscuits and gravy was around $25. I do want to go back though for their dinner / lunch options and will reconsider at that point.

We were seated immediately and greeted by our server. The service overall was very slow, it did take a while for water to come out, and then for our drinks to come. It seemed like somewhat of a busy night, but the service was still extremely slow. For drinks, we ordered the strawberry lemon drop, and the champagne sangria. We were told the strawberry lemon drop was sweet and that's why I ordered it. It was the exact opposite. So bitter that I had to ask to switch it because that's how bitter it was. The champagne sangria was just okay. For appetizers, we ordered the buffalo chicken spring rolls. These were OVERLY fried. It felt like I was eating fried dough with some bits of chicken. Flavor was okay, but I definitely wouldn't order these again. We also ordered a Cesar salad, and a greens salad. These were both very delicious. The Cesar salad was very good and you can request it with our without the anchovies on top. We ordered a lobster bisque soup as well which was good. For dinner, we ordered the Twin Filet Medallions. I ordered mine medium. The issue with this was that one of the filets was cooked medium, and one was cooked medium rare. The one that was cooked medium was absolutely delicious, the one that was medium rare was not as good. I was disappointed with this because I only enjoyed 1 out 2 of the filet. This dish came with a side of mashed potatoes and string beans. The plate itself was HOT, however the temperature of the mashed potatoes was warm on the outside, and then the inside was cold. For desserts, we ordered the crème brûlée, the chocolate cake, and the cheesecake. The crème brûlée was by far the best dessert. The top was nice and crispy and the flavor was delicious. The chocolate cake was huge, and also really good. The cheesecake I would not recommend because if it wasn't for the peach compote on top, it would have no flavor. It was very very bland. Overall, I would return to this restaurant and probably try different menu options. The service and consistency of the food lacked, but I would love to give it another try.

I was genuinely excited to find a place nearby serving eggs Benedict, since that is apparently now considered a rare regional specialty. The eggs Benedict itself was satisfying, and the decaf coffee was actually very good. It stayed hot, which was impressive because warmth was not exactly the theme of the rest of the experience. The custom mug was a nice touch, the silverware was clean, and my water glass was crystal clear, so points for clearing the very basic hurdles of public dining. That said, the details were where things started to drift. I asked whether I could get butter on the side for my English muffin and was told yes. When the food arrived, the butter had apparently chosen a different path in life. I selected the potatoes as my side, and they were dry and cold, which was a nice reminder that not all breakfast foods dream of being eaten. I also asked for cream with my decaf coffee and was given those little plastic peel-top cups of palm-oil creamer like the kind sitting beside a gas station coffee urn. It would have been helpful to know that beforehand, just so I could adjust my standards in advance. The service was probably the most disappointing part. My server never introduced herself, never said good morning, never welcomed me, and never asked how I was doing. The exchange had all the warmth and personality of renewing a vehicle registration. The first words out of her mouth were asking what I wanted to drink. Then whether I was ready to order. Then whether I was ready for the bill. Then she answered my question about whether I paid there or at the front. Finally, after the check, I did get a "have a good day," which was nice in the same way a closing credit is technically part of the movie. As an added bit of breakfast theater, I was seated near the kitchen entrance, while the table across the aisle featured what I mentally dubbed the Desperate Housewives of Streetsboro, carrying on a lively discussion about construction, a new kitchen, and the hand towels they were all apparently having to use in the meantime. It was less background ambience and more accidental community theater. For $21.87 for eggs Benedict, potatoes, and a decaf coffee, I expected a breakfast experience and not an exercise in emotional self-service. There were good elements here, but the missing butter, cold potatoes, fake creamer, and indifferent service made the whole thing feel more like a nicely plated inconvenience than a place I would be eager to revisit.
