Both were excellent. The guacamole was fresh, bright, and clearly made with care. Nothing felt like an afterthought. What stood out most was the experience. The chef came out to check on our dinner personally. That kind of attention tells you something about the people behind the food. Mezkla sits right near the new theater strip on West 8th, and they're already expanding their dining room. Growth like that doesn't happen by accident.
