The juices are great. I should've taken some to go. The rice and beans with chicken were a hit as well. Glad to find a bit of home here. Thankfully there were pates and sambusas in the hot case still warm, so we got those hot and fresh. The ambiance was a little lack luster. Not much decorum or music, but there is a smaller store on the other side of the restaurant. I didn't get a chance to check it out but next time. If it's two things you remember to try it's the Sorrel (Hibiscus) Juice and the Somali fish Sambusas. I would drive back for those two things alone. Although I don't know the names of any of the things I ate, there were mild and spicy options, several kinds of lentils, a kind of pureed chickpea dish, sauteed/braised greens and two kinds of mixed veggies - one with carrots and one with cabbage. Although the buffet is all-you-can-eat, we were all stuffed and just managed to eat what we were served. A few side notes: -- Hours here on Yelp say they open at 11 am which is incorrect. They open at 12 pm each day of the week. -- There is street parking and in this section of the city, it is still free! -- Seating in the front room inside can accommodate approx 20 people. On the day we visited, we were a group of 4, and several singles came in, and two other groups of 4, and the place was packed -- There are also several meat options on the buffet; if you want the meat the buffet price increases by $1 -- Beverages are all in bottles - water, sodas, etc -- This place uses disposable paper plates and plastic cutlery -- Don't forget to ask about the samosas!
