Great spot for delicious eats and coffee! I visited on a weekend morning and the line was pretty long to place an order, but it moved quickly. There are also plenty of tables to sit at if you're dining in. I ordered the Forager Hash, which had a poached egg, asparagus, spinach, mushrooms, peppers, fingerling potatoes, and topprd with maple harissa and paprika aioli. I also got their pumpkin spice latte. My boyfriend got one of their specials, which was Shakshouka, a poached egg dish in a pepper sauce that was served with bread for dipping. Both dishes were so flavorful! We really enjoyed them. You could also tell they made their own pumpkin syrup for the latte. It tasted so good and not overly sweet at all. Highly recommend!

Loved our coffee and breakfast at Kitchen & Coffee. Wish we would have discovered this place earlier in our visit. The ingredients were fresh and the prices were reasonable. The biscuit and the crust of the quiche were divine! The Spring Spice latte I had was super unique and yummy. We didn't try any of the pastry but they looked great. A must-try when you are in tow!

Kitchen & Coffee is such a great little spot. The food was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented--everything tasted thoughtfully made. The coffee was smooth and comforting, the kind you actually want to sit and enjoy instead of rushing out the door. Service was friendly and welcoming without feeling overbearing, and the ambiance was cozy and relaxed, perfect for a slow morning or casual catch-up. Took one star off only because it can get a bit busy, but overall it's absolutely worth the visit. I'll definitely be back.

Updating to add - the seasonal menu rotation is a love-dislike (hate is too strong of a word for this) relationship for me. *pours one out for the jammie eggs with tahini*. BUT it forces me to try new things - like the "Forager Hash"! The delicata squash and sweet potato in this dish are perfection! And their cold brew is still the best. Service still impeccable!

    Masala chai latte

We've tried K&C for their delicious gluten free baked goods and some drinks like their masala chai. This time, we really wanted to have the dining experience and not just get a quick bite or something to go. We came here on a super cold Sunday morning, so immediately we knew we were in the mood for something warm/cheesy. Immediately their lentil soup caught our eye paired with a delicious grilled cheese and the k+c avocado toast. We ordered great the only thing is I COMPLETELY forgot everything here is gluten free (even the bread, yes!). A place like this can be appreciated by everyone, whether you have certain dietary intolerances or you simply make certain dietary choices. Their baked goods are incredibly impressive and absolutely amazing. The fact that the full menu is GF and vegetarian absolutely blows my mind. That said, given that it was our actual first real dining experience, it would've been nice to have been asked or simply reminded (texture wise) about the bread. Other than that, everything was delicious! If you have a gluten intolerance/allergy/restriction/etc you will absolutely LOVE this place. If you don't have one, then just be mindful you might not necessarily need to order a bread based dish perhaps stick with anything else like the rice bowl or all the delicious things on their menu. YES get a baked good, you will love it. I do love that this is a place where you can casually hang out, do some work on your laptop, catchup with friends, etc. The only thing I will say on busier days it would be nice to not have customers sitting for long periods trying to do work/sit with the laptop since it's already hard enough getting seats inside (especially during the winter). But that's just my two little cents :) Overall, absolutely recommend, especially if you're gluten free! You can finally have a safe space to eat and enjoy delicious food.

I came here because I wanted to get WiFi and use the bathroom. They were very friendly and nice. I purchased a dog treat for my dog and he loved it. The staff is really friendly and inviting. I ordered an iced matcha which was good. The place is pretty they have wooden benches and have a lot of natural light. I would definitely be back and recommend it.

This place is super cute. I had a latte with house-made vanilla and it was delicious. I stopped in here for Valentine's Day after seeing their cute heart cakes on IG. Their baked goods are also delicious! Service was quick and friendly. There's plenty of seating however it does get packed quickly on the weekends.

5 Stars for a gluten free, vegetarian coffee shop, bakery, and cafe in downtown Beacon. My partner and I were in a nearby town and decided to make our way to Beacon for some natural wine and coworking. We found Kitchen & Coffee on Yelp and as we found street parking and walked up, we realizes the wine shop we had been looking to visit was right next door! Definitely be sure to stop by after your coffee for a bottle to take home. I ordered a decaf latte with oat milk (note the upcharge for non-dairy milk), a tempeh reuben sandwich, and the sweet potato burger. We got lucky and found a table for two, but note that they have larger tables for sharing work space as well as outdoor seating out back. The food was all absolutely delicious! I was especially fond of the bread on the reuben. With that being said, be sure to get a dessert pastry if you're very hungry because the portions are not very large (the sweet potato burger was surprisingly tiny, and the tempeh reuben was more bread than tempeh). Regardless, it definitely hit the spot and proved to be a perfect cafe for lunch and some coworking!

    Tempeh Reuben

Came here twice on my trip upstate to ring in the new year. LOVED the curry bowl (def glad I got the flatbread as well), and my friend had a harvest bowl that looked phenomenal. On the return trip I was excited to indulge in the tempeh Reuben, but it felt more like a grilled cheese with tempeh and a few slender pickle rounds. Despite a torrid love affair with Reubens when I was younger, I don't usually opt for this heavy of a sandwich anymore. But when I do...I want it SAUCEY, and definitely no skimping on the kraut! Loved the fresh ingredients and general vibe, would def return and try a new dish.

I was very pleased with Kitchen & Coffee. You could tell, that this eatery is very popular. They have front/rear outdoor seating, as well as plenty of indoor seating, and they were all occupied. Their menu is extensive, including sweets and VERY GOOD coffee. During this visit, I ordered the Cauliflower Bowl (organic brown rice, spiced cauliflower, dates, butter beans, pickled onion, carrot, garlic toum, black tahini, pepita dukkah, parsley, dill, mint, mixed greens, and citrus sumac vinaigrette). This bowl was one of the best I've ever had. All of those ingredients.....dancing together.... provided such a delightful meal. The citrus sumac vinaigrette hugged every item with such delight, that I should have ordered another bowl to-go! When we were sitting in the rear outdoor area, I noticed a smaller adjacent building called, Kitchen & Coffee Annex. I asked a staff member and they said, that they use that Annex to create their magical sweet items. Thanks to that Annex, I tried one of their magical creations......their Cherry/Almond Tart and it was just as good as the Cauliflower Bowl. I highly recommend Kitchen & Coffee and I will gladly return, when I'm in the Beacon area.

I had this place bookmarked on Yelp and so glad we finally got to come!…read more First of all, the photos don't do this place justice or even walking by it because inside, it's a whole vibe. A friend said it looked like somewhere in Williamsburg and I couldn't agree more. Came here with friends to enjoy a night of catching up and enjoying delicious drinks and food. We started with some drinks - I got the snap dragon with tequila, mezcal, snap pea juice, vermouth and lime. The presentation was everything! From the local cheese to the crudite (edamame dip + seasonal vegetables). Their seasonal farm to table menu is everything. We were absolutely mind blown by the zucchini with pistachio pesto. From the way it was scored to the way it was cooked to the delicious sauce. A perfect 10! For my entree, I ordered the wild mushroom risotto (great vegetarian options here by the way). My ooooooooonly "complaint" is that it was for sure on the saltier side and waaaaaaaaaay too much garlic for my personal taste. That's the only thing it felt like it took over and overpowered the dish. And my breath lol! HAHA Other than that, can't wait to come back here on a date. The indoor/outdoor space is incredible. Loved dining with the big back garage/style door open so you can be inside but have a bit of the outside with you. This place is incredible and can't wait to try more of their dishes. Also, be patient. Food and items might seem to take longer, and it's absolutely worth it. Everything is being prepared for you on the spot :)

I found Karma Road on Yelp--a vegan cafe? Yes, please. It's a small cafe with a few tables inside as well as a few outside. When I arrived, the outdoor seating was full but there was a few tables available inside that were perfect for my needs (dining and working). It's an order at the counter set up. I knew I wanted a sandwich and was leaning toward an avocado sandwich they had on menu. The worker was excessively kind and welcoming. Upon hearing it was my first time there, they asked if I might like a recommendation. I mentioned I was thinking of getting a sandwich. They shared that they're favorite sandwich was the baked tofu. I asked if I could get it with avocado added, they enthusiastically recommended I do so! I did, and my goodness--that sandwich was outta this world. It was absolutely divine. It came with some cucumbers that were seasoned and seemed to have maybe a squeeze of citrus as well? I truly don't know what they had on them but what a simple yet absolutely astoundingly fresh and fabulous side. Whether you're vegan, vegetarian, or simply like good food--seriously, give this gem a shot. It is well worth the stop. Get to it!

Their menu is extensive and impressive; they have some all-star dishes on their permanent menu as well as a rotating daily menu with a legendary lineup of seasonal items. I really appreciate that they have dishes that are hard to come by such as lentil loaf and lasagna, and these never disappoint. The lentil loaf is unique; it is a little brick of lentils (not your traditional sliceable mush of breadcrumbs and minced veggies). It's very well seasoned and the tomato sauce on top is not overly sweet. The mashed potatoes and mushroom gravy and (very) garlicky greens make it a great meal. The lasagna is one of my favorite dishes. It's pasta-free and just made from layers of sliced zucchini and other veggies sandwiched with their delicious crumbly housemade cashew cheese. The herby tomato sauce is super flavorful. The side salad and garlic bread that accompany it are great also; an ultra comforting meal. We enjoyed the macro meal, although honestly not as much as the other dishes. The pan-seared tofu was delicious, but the arame seaweed salad was super seaweedy and salty - a bit much for me. I'm also not sure why they didn't serve it in a bowl, which would have made the rice etc. easier to eat. It seemed to be missing something - perhaps avocado, or a hunk of sweet potato. A few items at the Garden Cafe are a little perplexing, compared to how perfect most of their food is. The tempeh is just ok. It's heavily marinated in a sweet and salty sauce and kind of strange. Also disappointing that it's just a big brand tempeh rather than one of the local tempeh brands available in the area. The housemade focaccia is also bizarre. The texture made me think it was gluten-free (but it's not). Is it whole wheat?? If that's the case, awesome, but they should mention that on the menu, so you aren't taken aback when you don't get pillowy airy bread and instead get something flat and gray that could be mistaken for a biscotti. We LOVE the Garden Cafe and wish more places like this existed serving organic classic meals. We wish they would open a location in New York City, but until then, we will be making the drive!
