Very inviting and clean restaurant. I ordered the nourish bowl which was full of veggies and quinoa and very filling. Seating is limited, but very quaint restaurant. I recommend that you order at the counter instead of the kiosk as it took us several minutes to fill out all the information, including an email and password.

We happened by luck to stumble in on Chakra Bowls anniversary so had the pleasure of enjoying smoothie bowls for a steep discount! Plus points for that! The ambiance is so zen, aesthetically an Instagram-able masterpiece and the perfect place to study in my opinion (calm music, not too busy, comfortable seating). I had the good vibes bowl and my partner enjoyed the açaí bowl. Both were delicious, fresh and well balanced. Gorgeous presentation. I'd love to be back to try some toast/bowl and smoothie options. Its on the pricier side but the fresh quality ingredients make this a great special treat spot for a weekend of day off!

Big fan of the quality, delicious healthy salads, shakes, bowls and soups I've enjoyed at Chakra Bowls. Everyone is friendly and makes eating well easy! Most recently, I've tried the meal delivery and it's fantastic. What a game changer.

This is my first time at Chakra Bowls since they moved from the original location. When I first walked in, I was in awe! The decor is so cute! Plenty of space to sit and relax. I got a Mermaid Smoothie and the OG avo toast. As some other reviews point out, the food is certainly on the expensive side. However, the quality of the food is unmatched. It tastes fresh. I would rather pay extra for healthy food without additives or fillers than save a couple dollars. If you have the resources, I recommend ordering from here. An additional plus is that the owner is so kind and community oriented.

Came back to try the smoothie bowls again for lunch after the gym. Their smoothie bowls are good. One thing to keep in mind is they are pretty busy for the amount of staff they have, so wait times can be a bit long if you're in a rush. I think ordering online is an option if you don't want to wait, otherwise if you don't mind the wait it works out.

Really great menu with lots of options! Chose the Mediterranean Glow Salad and Matcha Latte. The salad was SO fresh and beautifully prepared! Service was quick and friendly. Looking forward to trying one of the açaí bowls! Such a beautiful space for lunch too! .

Lovely ambiance, great location. My wife loved her bowl & tea. I expected a different onion soup - cheese melted over the edge of a crock, fat crouton atop the broth - but received an artist's rendition instead with fresh mozz floating amongst salad croutons. Broth was very good. I scraped the bowl. When opening a new location everything needs to be managers so the bugs can be worked out. Be patient & speak to the owner if she's around. Very thoughtful & sincere! We will return.

Came back for a proper post-covid visit. Love the really adorable and spacious interior. So many fresh healthy options and friendly service and an almost dizzying array of choices - takes so long to decide. This visit I had a smoothie, which was really delicious and the perfect consistency. To be honest, as others have mentioned, I still think their pricing is a bit too high, especially for the portion size, and that's the only thing that keeps me visiting more often.

I have been going to Chakra Bowls since they opened, and now since they've moved, and I love it there! They make my favorite smoothie bowls in the area - I've tried a few of them and have loved them all, especially the Hudson Valley bowl and the seasonal Spring In Bloom bowl! Their drinks - especially the pumpkin housemade chai - are delicious! The new location also is gorgeous and offers much more space to sit than the previous location. I can't wait to go back!

This was a cute little smoothie place that we popped into to grab a quick breakfast. I got the peanut butter acai bowl. It reminded me of Juice Generation's PB acai. I also got a latte with oat milk, which was disappointing. It was so diluted and weak that I didn't even finish it. Would I come back? Maybe, but only for the bowls and I wouldn't go out of my way. The person behind the counter was super friendly and nice so I feel bad saying that. There was also no restroom, which was a bit inconvenient as well.

The cutest vibes here! Definitely a cute place to grab a quick light snack or a drink if you want an aesthetic place to meet a friend. However, the prices here are quite high for what you're getting IMO. I think it's more so a cute meet up spot for aesthetic pics but not like an everyday grab my drink on the way to work spot. Also not much of a selection so if you have allergies (especially to nuts or coconuts) or sensitivities definitely look up the menu ahead of time! They also don't have a lot of customization options for their drinks. For instance we ordered some iced teas and they didn't have any options like other cafes have in the area like liquid sugar or many Torani syrups, I think they only had like 3 Torani syrup flavors. Also when asked the clerk behind the cashier she originally said no to any sweeteners at all and wasn't giving any suggestions but another worker at least offered her coconut Torani syrup but I'm allergic to coconut unfortunately. They at least agreed to agave when I brought up if they had it to add into the drinks. When we got our iced teas they were so bitter and unsweet, even with agave, it tasted like the tea had almost been burnt before it got chilled? I would try something else next time. Loved that they supported another local business with their wall of flowers and even had business cards available of that other business.

I don't even know what this is. It looks like grass through a goose.$15 for this- I was so disgusted. As a pro gardener, I know

As a vegetarian I'm always on the hunt for the best of the best in vegetarian cuisine. I'm officially in love with the Plant Palate and their F I R E empanadas. Handmade, baked to order, these empanadas are a feel good meal. Make sure to try their rice and beans side. They have a little kick too! So I ordered the ground beef copycat signature empanadas which can easily fool ya. I honestly had to do a double take because just from the look it felt like this was real ground beef. The sriracha mayo gave it the perfect kick too! To put this empanada to the test, we told our meat eating sister that this was a ground beef empanada and ours was the vegetarian one. She ate it convinced that it was meat. A few hours later we finally told her she had the same one we did. She couldn't believe it and it really had her fooled. So 100% compliments to the chef! They also sell sweet (nutella) empanadas (I'll def be trying this one next time). Bottom line: vegan, vegetarian or meat eater, you NEED to try the plant palate. It will leave your palate having a party with the extra spicy kick and the bomb flavors. Thanks to the Plant Palate for making amazing food like this. Can't wait to try some more!

You can also get basmati rice or fattoush salad, but man, those fries are dynamite. And a huge portion size! Would easily feed two! I also ordered the falafel sandwich, "the works!" This amalgam of tastiness that includes tahini, pickles, parsley, lettuce, tomato, onions, hummus, and hot sauce. A delightful smorgasbord of flavors. The outer wrap was grilled perfectly. Although Poughkeepsie has a decent variety of excellent restaurant options, there aren't a lot of upscale places to select from. We opted to book reservations for Brasserie 292 for a Saturday night. When we arrived, we were nearing the end of the dinner rush. We were sat right away, unfortunately it wasn't all too romantic being sat in the middle of the restaurant but understandably the restaurant is on the smaller side. The waiter was attentive, and addressed any of our questions about the menu, even hunting down the bottle of pinot noir we ordered. We opted to start off our night by splitting a half-dozen oysters which came with their in-house hot sauce, and an order of pouple, which was cooked to perfection. For our entrees we selected the red wine braised lamb shank and the dry aged prime NY steak. Since sides for both entrees were not mentioned on the menu, we also ordered sides - wild mushrooms, brussels sprouts and crispy smoked peewee potatoes. Overall the food was excellent and I'm still dreaming about the mushrooms. If we lived locally, would we go back, maybe but overall we had a great experience. Since this was an upscale restaurant, I opted to not photograph our meals and enjoyed being present in the moment.

We visited on the Friday before V-day, the house was packed around 18:30. The wait was 45 mins which wasn't too bad for a Friday night. We decided to wait in the lobby after trying to find a cozy waiting spot near the bar and missing. My wife attempted to order me a mocktail, but of course the bar was crazy busy. When the bartender finally acknowledged her, the mocktail requests obviously threw the bartender for a loop because I ended up with watered down ginger beer and a sprig of mint. My advice for anyone looking for a virgin drink at this bar would be to order a club soda with lime and call it a night. We were seated at the 45 min mark, and were escorted to the packed bar, where they have some exterior tables for diners. My seat was in the middle of the couch split, which I found mighty uncomfortable so we opted to request a seat in the main dining room, which the staff happily obliged. With dinner we ordered hot tea and were given lukewarm water and a choice of Stash teas. Our beverage experience here was very disappointing. The calamari arrived and may have been the only highlight, although we didn't find it to have that fresh calamari texture. My wife ordered a ravioli with mushroom, and felt the pasta and veggies were just swimming in butter. I ordered my steak medium and it was okay, but the juices from the greens made the croquettes soggy, and unenjoyable. The server did his best, and all the staff here are so kind. Coulda been an off night but I doubt we'll be back anytime soon. The Mocktail Madam.
