When I walked…read morethrough the door, Diane, who was working in the rear of the store, immediately acknowledged me and welcomed me into the store!. About 5 minutes later, Diane appeared and explained to me the storewide sale they were having. She pointed out many items/. I really appreciated this as several items I was interested in were 40% off! As I made my way through the store, I watched as Diane worked tirelessly in a very warm store. Evidently the air conditioning was not working properly. This did not stop her. I purchased 4 or 5 items all because of Diane. I have been in management a great many years and I can tell you, Diane is an employee that needs to be recognized. She relates to customers well and is aware of store inventory and sales. The other woman working in the store that day could learn several lessons from Diane. Well done Kirklands. I'd say Diane needs a promotion and a raise.
