It always took several times in trying to communicate with them to get any result. I overpaid them and it was extremely difficult in getting my money back which I pursued for over a month. I am leaving this 1-star review in an effort to get a response from Carlos, Corttney, or anyone at K&B committed to customer service. I'm willing to update the rating if our issues are resolved. We contracted with Carlos to begin renovations in our home on March 15. We were impressed by Carlos and Corttney's professionalism and presentation prior to signing on with them. Demo was done very quickly; however, things really slowed down after that. Communication throughout the entire process has been inconsistent, at best. At no point was a schedule communicated and updates would only be provided after demanding them (or we approached a payment deadline). The quality of work is good. Their lead was resourceful and clearly explained what they were doing. This was our first home renovation project and it has given us pause in working with or recommending K&B in the future. Based on other reviews, it sounds like smaller projects are better executed (ie bathrooms), but our project (consisting of flooring and kitchen work) led me to believe it was too broad a scope for Carlos and the team to execute efficiently. Four months later, we are still awaiting completion of punch list items and we've now had LED lighting K&B installed in our kitchen stop working - both issues of which have been sent, unanswered, to Carlos. There are many contractors in the Phoenix area. I suggest anyone considering K&B gather as much data from other contractors as possible before moving forward. **8/9 UPDATE** Following my review, Carlos reached out and scheduled a follow-up appointment. After three appointments, the few punch list items were resolved. Representative of the overall quality of work and our experience with K&B over the past 5 months, I've updated the rating to '3' stars. read more

I was helped out by Marty in the office who was extremely helpful. I knew he cared to know about our remodeling project as he took the time to get to know my husband and I and our vision what we had in mind. 3 days after our conversation Mike came out to talk to us further about our project. It took about a week to get the proposal and I'm glad I waited as I previously had 2 other quotes in hand from other companies. They were decently priced, not the cheapest, but definitely the best in communication and really understood what we wanted. Although, not fully complete as of yet as i keep adding things, it's honestly just a fun process to go through with these great guys. read more

From the beginning, it was clear this company's goal was to meet the customer's satisfaction. The planning team listened carefully to expectations and wishes for my 2 bathroom remodels. They shared recommendations but listened to my opinions, as well. Carlos, my project manager, was on top of the plans and eager to please; Corttney was available to research and order- offering suggestions but also accepting my choices if different. Carlos shopped for materials with me but agreed with choices I made on my own, too. To complete the projects, a team of craftsmen worked diligently step by step to put all the pieces together. Especially noteworthy were David, Omar, and most of all Luis who completed finishing touches to enhance the professionalism of the remodels. Parts of the projects exceeded my expectations; some parts also needed a second look. Customer satisfaction was always the priority. Alicia, the design consultant, was extremely helpful, including her renderings that guided the projects! I never had a concern about opening my house to the team and leaving whenever I needed to. They were also conscientious about not leaving gates and doors open for the dog to escape! I appreciated every member of the team. Also, it was important to be an active participant during the work; sometimes corrections were needed or details left unfinished. Attention was always given to any concerns, by both Carlos and the workers on the job. There were a few lapses in scheduling; cleanup of materials could have been better. K&B Remodeling recently did two bath remodels for us in Cave Creek AZ with no issues. However, on the 2nd bath update they sent a painter who didn't know what end of a paint brush to use. He was bad but his work was insignificant to the project as a whole. This was an overlooked symptom of the calamities to come. In April of 2024 we hired K&B to update our home's front entry. The project remains an incomplete disaster as we had 2 groups of their subcontractors "walk off our job". After some investigation we learned why. None of their subcontractors were getting paid for the work performed. We subsequently terminated K&B after discovery of supplier non-payment. As a valued client we are committed to companies employing ethical practices. K&B is totally unethical and ruthless as it relates to its subcontractors. CAVEAT EMPTOR" read more

If I could give this place 0 stars, I would. I am very surprised how this company has 5-star reviews. We scheduled for an estimator to come on a Friday, we took off work and they didn't show up. There was no communication or heads up. We decided to give them another chance due to their reviews. We confirmed the day of, two hours before (just so it didn't interfere with our jobs again) and they said they would be at our home for sure this time. But it happened again... another no-show. They don't seem to care about your business and the communication just isn't there. I would be worried that if we started construction with them, it would never be finished or there would just continue to be no-shows along the way. Well, it's our 3rd and final project because everything has been updated. The last thing was to rip out all the 20 year old tile and replace it. We looked at glued wood, wood look tile, engineered floating wood and floating luxury vinyl planking. Burton really helped us understand the pros/cons and provided nice big samples. We went with the Vinyl planking (we choose Mohawk) because of the quality, the pet warranty and the fact you couldn't tell it from the engineered wood flooring. Installation went flawlessly and we chose to go diagonal. Their floor specialist Omar, was quite the artist (see pic). He blended it perfectly. We have had several people over and they are shocked it's not wood. All and all another great outcome and very competitive cost. read more

We move a lot and we've remodeled three houses now, and you never really know what you're going to get with different contractors. I chose carefully when picking a contractor for our new home in Scottsdale, and I am so impressed with the excellent quality, consistency and communication we experienced with K + B. The whole team (from administrative to project management to trades) were great to work with. With how overwhelmed the industry is right now, most guys are just trying to get a job done and get onto the next, but we did not ever feel that way with Mike and his team. Everyone paid great attention to detail and made sure we were happy with every part of the job. Mike was our project manager and was so good about staying in touch throughout the project, and while we appreciated all our contractors, Luis was an absolute joy to work with. He handled most of our general work during the remodel and he was AWESOME. Luis' personality and quality of work was 10 out of 10 and we were so happy to work with him! We removed a small shower and separate tub and had Kitchen and Bath Remodeling create one large shower with a bench and three showerheads. The process was seamless from demo, to plumbing, to tiling, and all the finishing touches. They had a crew repaint the bathroom ceiling and touch up other areas that were needed. The tile crew was very clean, polite, and courteous and did a great job. They worked long hours just to get the job done quickly. Burton and his team are absolutely the best. I can't even think of what to say because I have so many great thoughts at once. He is responsive, and fun and wonderful to work with. I bought a townhouse and gutted it and he made what should have been a miserable experience a great one. My place looks amazing, he had incredible helpful suggestions - which I took and I am so happy that I did, he was right about literally everything. There were no surprises, he told me upfront what everything would cost and what he thought I should do and stuck to it. He even bailed me out of a self inflicted jam. I put tile everywhere, all the flooring, the showers - it is just beautiful. He said his guy is an artist and I believe him. I had a great kitchen remodel experience working with Burton. We replaced the flooring (dark wood tile), installed granite countertops and a stainless steel sink, painted the cabinets white and removed an awful stucco backsplash put in by the previous owners. They textured above and below the cabinets to match the rest of our walls until we pick a new backsplash. It all turned out better than I imagined and working with Burton was great. i was recently hired by a homeowner who got our name Cactus valley glass from KB Remodeling to estimate and install a custom frameless shower enclosure at a remodel they Worked on. KB was extremely helpful with all questions I had concerning the tile they had installed which I can't say enough about not only was it beautiful to look at but was installed extremely well. There workmanship was so nice to see especially when it's not everyday you see shower tile level and plumb no crazy outages. I would definitely use them to do Work in my bathroom. We recently decided to upgrade and remodel portions of our home including replacement of most of the floor. Kitchen & Bath Remodeling was recommended to us by Joey at A World of Tile on Speedway in Tucson. Tyson from Kitchen & Bath Remodeling called us right away to schedule an initial meeting and plan the project. The project required removing approximately 1600 square feet of old tile and underlying thinset which took about a week of very nasty and dusty work. But Diego and Lester were up to the task and did a great job of removing the old tile. Then for the next two weeks Diego and Lester laid the new wood-look planks of porcelain tile. Tyson and his crew of Diego and Lester were very professional and highly skilled. We are very happy with their work and the new floor is beautiful ! They did a fantastic job in record time. They even picked up the tile for me. The price was competitive and extremely reasonable. I will definitely use them again for any future remodeling jobs. My job was completed within a week of first contacting them and they did excellent work. I would recommend them for any remodel job. They seem to be able to accommodate any request I had.
