If you can't see, touch and/or sit on it, most likely, it won't be what you think or were led to believe it should have been. Just say'n.) I went to Designer Furniture Gallery on June 25th, 2025. Met with a very professional saleswoman, Heidi, and spent probably a couple of hours looking around and finally decided on a very nice, uptown, expensive set of furniture: Southern Motion's Westchester Collection. All Zero Gravity Recliners (which are very cool, BTW,) power head and footrests as well as USB-C ports. The sofa, loveseat and chair were all upholstered in semi-aniline, top grain leather. Not wanting to live in the danger zone, I felt the need to purchase the 5-year combo policy for an additional $600 plus a little extra for the White Glove Delivery Service which led me to believe that Heidi was exceptionally skilled in performing precision wallet biopsies. Haha, jk Heidi. All said and done, the total was.... a lot. I left feeling well taken care of and since the furniture was a custom order, the delivery time would end up being 6 weeks, August 13th. The delivery guys were exceptionally professional, arrived on time and when setting up the furniture, we noticed a few of the manufacture defect concerns, which they took pictures of and said they would show their boss. That night I decided to apply a coat of Leather Honey Conditioner and protectant to all three pieces, and when you do that process, you'll be examining every inch of the furniture. While doing that, I found several more manufacturers' defects, took pictures and sent them to Designer Furniture. I later received a call from Devin, (I never did know what his actual title was) who also was very professional and came to the house to evaluate the defects (check out the exceptional work Southern Motion will proudly work overtime, take 6 weeks and a boatload of your money to do for you too, simply for the asking, in my post pics.) I never received a call from the Designer Furniture Gallery store manager, which was disappointing! Probably too busy counting his money and couldn't take the time to discuss the paying customer's legitimate complaints; not much of a "professional" IMHO. Devin mostly stayed in touch and took my calls when there were lengthy periods of "crickets." Obviously, Southern Motion didn't seem to want to discuss their fantastic, epic, Quality Control failures either, so I never received a customer service call from that ignominious excuse for a furniture company either. Finally, September 11th, 2025, approximately 4 weeks later and after I had reached out several times attempting to get some resolution, I was told there were 3 options: 1. Send all the pieces back and have them fixed. (I had already sold the furniture I was replacing, so I guess we could sit on milk crates for another 6 weeks or so.) 2. Send the defective pieces back a few at a time (lol, can you even imagine doing that?) and 3. A partial refund. Sadly enough, the partial refund seemed to be the only feasible alternative in lieu of professional grade work and customer service. (Southern Motion, when I review them, will be getting a neg 11 Stars.) What was supposed to be an ooh ahh moment turned into a disappointing O.M.G! Experience. As far as I'm concerned, neither company puts customer service very high on their priority list and reading some of the other reviews, it's apparent. It just might be a good idea when out driving around looking for furniture, to just keep driving.

They gave a referral and will refund our money but they cannot refund our time. Until today I expected to be able to give them a good review. We had well over $100,000 worth of cabinets ordered. One review said they helped her with upper cabinets for a laundry room -- but we're too small a fish and they're throwing us back? Maybe they've gotten so big their desired revenue is exceeding their integrity???? I cannot figure this out.

Matt and Ty, aside from being very friendly and courteous, are totally into safety. Being professionals, they know what a crane loaded with drywall can do to you. They cordoned off the entire site so as to prevent passerby's from entering, they also got me to "stay back" as they unloaded a large order. They used a dolly made for this purpose to distribute each specific drywall size in the correct quantity and room as per our instructions. I wish to acknowledge these two guys for the hard work they do but especially for professionalism they show when at a customer's site. Thank you Matt and Ty. Santiago

We went to St. George to do a job, for a family member and decided to purchase materials in St. George, instead of hauling them from Salt Lake. BIG MISTAKE! Unfortunately, in the town of beautiful St. George there aren't many options for construction supplies. So, perhaps if you have NO OTHER OPTION, you might have to use this company. For this reason, we feel we should share our experience. So you, as an educated customer, can make sure you follow behind the people working here and make sure they do their job right. So, you don't get screwed. 1- This company makes you purchase corners and flats in separate packages. Not that unusual. But what makes it frustrating is they make you buy a certain square footage or linear footage of each. So, for example...you HAVE to buy 8 linear feet of corners, regardless of how much you need. And you HAVE to buy 110 square feet of flats, even if you only need 50 square feet. So, you are paying MORE for material than you really need. And, it's overpriced material at that. 2- They loaded the WRONG flats onto our truck. Period. We didn't notice that the flats were wrong until halfway through the fireplace we were doing, and the corners and flats were different colors...which wasn't apparent until after they were on the wall. 3- When we went back to return the WRONG stone that THEY loaded on our truck, we were treated like idiots. "Oh, you didn't check your material to make sure it was right." Excuse me? Sure, you can place some blame on us, but ultimately, it was THEIR fault they loaded our truck with the wrong material to begin with! Why would we ever suspect it was wrong? We have NEVER had this happen in all our years of masonry. Never. We were inconveniencing them, they offered no compensation for their mistake, not even an apology. Luckily, they did return the wrong stone, and gave us the proper stone. But, it was not done without huge amounts of trouble and attitude. Our point is not to get some forklift driver in trouble. Mistakes happen, we understand that. Our problem is, this company has NO customer service skills. The customer is never right, and we're all idiots. I suspect that this attitude stems from the fact that, if you want certain stone, and they are the only one's in town who have it, you'll just have to deal with getting treated like garbage. What choice do you have? Well, if you have another option...even if you have to drive to Cedar, Vegas, or Salt Lake...you should do it. Shame on them for running a business this way. And if you do decide to use them, make sure you do THEIR job for them and double check your materials (that THEY loaded) BEFORE you leave the premises.

Thankfully I had the house painted after the flooring, & the paint guy had the drywall and baseboards repaired. I asked if it was customary to leave leftover floor boards after a job & they said yes, they would look into seeing what happened to the leftovers & call me back. Crickets, no call. I called back a couple of weeks later & was told the same thing, he would look into it & call me back. More crickets. I tried calling back & no answer, it just rang & rang. They did not leave me even 1 extra floor board! I feel that I paid for these & am not asking for a free ride, I just want what's mine in case of any mishaps. I would not be writing this if they didn't blow me off like this.

We were a little overwhelmed at first by the massive selection of products on display, but with the help of their designer we quickly honed in on some products we loved. Contempo has an amazing selection of tile products, in all price categories, and I love how bright and open their showroom is. My wife and I weren't sure we'd be able to find tile we both agreed on, but we came away with some samples we really loved. When took those samples home to compare them and let our contractor know our final selections. We ended up ordering all of the tile for our bathroom remodel from Contempo and have LOVED the appearance and quality of everything we purchased from them. The only disappointed we experienced is that the octagon tile we'd selected for the floor of our master bathroom shower wasn't available. When we were at Contempo, they said the product was in stock, but when our contractor went to order it, it was actually 2 months away. It was on the way from Italy or something. We ended up comprising on diamonds instead, but I wish we'd be able to use that octagon tile.

We were greeted by their front desk right away, and they asked if we needed any help. We didn't at the time and we just roamed their store looking at their tiles. They had SO many options that are unique! As we were roaming, we had someone else come up to us to help out. We can't remember her name (sorry!) but she was SO helpful!! She gave us really insightful and helpful advice for choosing a backsplash that matches our cabinets. She told us that with a quartz countertop, we should choose a backsplash color that will compliment the veining of it. Typically people will think a white backsplash will do so, but she showed us that it turns the quartz a bit yellow! She really knew her stuff!! She showed us several options of different tiles and it felt like we were at a design center designing our place. She also gave us a contact info of an installer that she recommended. Would definitely recommend her and this place!!
