We have two family members currently into gnomes and this shop had a lot of variety in the gnome department. One we purchased was a girl gnome because it had pigtails. I had not seen that before. The clerk is friendly, but lets you shop at your own pace. There are try-on rooms available, but no public restroom. I like that the furniture is locally crafted in Brown County and that local woods are used. And they even delivered my furniture up to Zionsville. Today, I stopped in the showroom to see what was new. I fell in love with the hickory rockers and matching pieces. Not only is the furniture beautiful, it's solid and well made. They also have a line of outdoor furniture that is so comfortable that I didn't want to get out. The clerks are friendly and knowledgeable. Prices are in line with what I see from imported options. The jewelry is neatly organized by type, stone, color, etc. Glass cases and walls are filled with silver and gold. I was fascinated by the large pieces of amber with little inclusions. I saw many quality pieces. Prices were reasonable. My husband liked looking at the sterling silver antique old and ends. A newspaper clipping on the wall tells the story of owners, Al and Carol Drake. The Drakes have been selling jewelry for 50 years. Al is a silver and gold smith. There was a sign that indicated that they repair and craft jewelry, but there is a three month wait because they are busy. We found free street parking nearby (which was a miracle).
