I've never heard of Micro Center and I stopped by here a couple of weeks ago looking for 3D printer…read morefilament. They have this big rotating shelf apparatus on the wall that holds the filament boxes and by scanning a barcode on one of the color swatches by the computer, the shelves on the wall drop down and let you reach for the box you're looking for. It was a novelty, but unfortunately the store was out of every filament I was looking for. I came back today because I was in the area again and the filament shelf was mostly empty. I thought the store was out of filament but then I saw these big crates off to the side full of the boxes. An employee told me the machine had broken down and it was fixed but they weren't using it because the company that made it wants them to refill it only on certain days. That's a little weird. I found the filament I had been searching for last time and got two rolls. There was a long line at checkout and apparently the credit card system was down. Employees were explaining an alternative process where they write down your credit card info and process the transaction later when the system was operational again. Then they shred the documents with your info. I understand the concept because I've seen this before but I don't particularly trust it. Too many things can happen and someone can accidentally get a hold of my info. I asked if I could pay in cash and I was told that was the preferred payment method. Maybe they should have mentioned that at the start instead of repeating the speech about the credit stuff over and over again? Oh well. I thought my filament was $10 each but they were $15 each. A sign by the filament machine listed prices for the filament and it said rolls were $10 each, a bundle of two rolls was $19, and a bundle of four rolls was $36. It continued with specific prices for specialty filament. I figured the more you buy, the more you save but apparently this only applies to specific products and those already bundled together and not the individual boxes off the shelf. I thought about putting the filament back and leaving but I was already here and had waited this long so I bought the rolls and left. I can get filament a lot cheaper online so I doubt I'd visit this store again. At least the employees are friendly and helpful. It seemed like they were having a rough day with the system being down.

Then my daughter sending follow up emails and she would get a response like my assistant put the emails in the wrong client folder etc. She expressed she was going Japan and when she got back we could visit the Studio. We went to see the studio booked my daughters maternity sessions. Jan 1st comes photos were taken with both my girls. I have sent follow up emails no response, daughter has left her a voicemail no response, my other daughter even sent a few emails to her no response. Needless to say she has Ghosted us!!! I'm so sad this was a once in a lifetime opportunity to get my girls photographed together and I'll never see the photos. My daughter is due anytime now thank god my daughter found another photographer to take pictures of them. The sad part is I won't get them together like I wanted. As a mother seeing your two daughters pregnant at the same time is a surreal experience and I'm devastated at the fact I will never get the photos. To me my impression of Lizzy is she a nice woman that may have allot going on but no communication is death for your business!!!! Not responding to emails and voicemails is beyond unprofessional. We both were seeking a photographer to capture maternity, and newborn photos as well as photos of us together since we both were expecting. Lizzy was sweet but communication is not her strong suit! On 1/1/20 My sister completed her Maternity shoot, and we did a shoot together as well. We had been asking for an invoice for our sessions for probably about a month. My sister was suppose to get a photo back for her baby shower and never heard a word from Lizzy. When we met for our photos and my sisters maternity session she said she accidentally filed one of our emails in another clients folder and would send the invoice to us ASAP. I've followed up many times, my sister has called, And my mother has emailed. We've heard nothing and we are absolutely heartbroken because we now have to accept the reality that we won't be getting our photos at all. Luckily I found a new photographer who was able to get my sister and I in. Save your self the hassle and AVOID this photographer!! While she has beautiful work, she doesn't communicate nor does her assistant.
