    The worst customer service experience I have ever had…read more I spoke with someone in the loans department named "Guy" regarding documents I needed to submit for my GAP insurance claim. From the beginning of the call, he was extremely rude, talked over me repeatedly, cut me off whenever I tried to ask a question, and continuously placed me on hold without explanation. When I requested a supervisor, he told me they were "busy and could not help." I then asked for a supervisor's phone number or email address, and he responded, "We don't have one, you can call back and wait like everyone else," before placing me back on hold again without allowing me to speak. I eventually reached a supervisor named Terrance, who was professional, respectful, and willing to listen. He advised that he would review the call and provide coaching to the team if necessary. I also requested a follow-up after the call review. Customer service is extremely important to me, and the way Guy handled this situation was completely unacceptable and unprofessional. I was recently involved in a major car accident where another driver hit me at approximately 60 mph. My brand-new vehicle was declared a total loss, and I am currently out of work recovering from injuries sustained in the accident. The last thing I needed during such a stressful time was to be treated disrespectfully by my own credit union while simply requesting documents needed to complete my GAP claim. I truly hope management addresses this situation and improves the level of professionalism and compassion shown to customers during difficult circumstances.
