The bankers are always friendly to me here. I've only had one issue here in the decades that I've been banking at Chase. And it was resolved fairly quickly, but it could have been a really big deal. The teller told me that a very large check would clear in two days. I waited the days and then requested several large payments to be made. Well, the bank did not release the funds in two day, they took a full week. Otherwise, banking at Chase in Poulsbo has been a good experience, even though it is a national chain in the local community. I tested it out just this morning when a friend was not able to wire a large sum of money to someone from his bank. They made him get a cashier's check. And when I wired money from Chase, they had no issue whatsoever. So all in all, it's a good bank. I made myself a promise that I wasn't going to leave any more 1-star reviews. My criteria is, "Will this help someone?" I think it will. I'm a business banking customer. I applied for a line of credit with Chase. I won't get into details except to say the experience was horrible and prompted me to leave Chase. When I went into the Poulsbo branch to close my accounts, the banker never asked why I was leaving or expressed any sympathy for the poor customer service I received. During the process of closing my accounts she lost my ID and wasted a half hour finding it. Eventually everything was sorted out and I left without so much as a "Thank you for your business." Hello Chase. Welcome to Washington and, in particular, to the building that used to house my WAMU branch. I realize that you are still working out the kinks in things but on your radio ads you say that you have been in business for many years and you are just new to Washington. So, just so that I am not off base, please let me ask of you who are reading this what you think are the primary functions of an ATM machine. Here are mine: 1. Get cash 2. Make Deposits 3. Check account balances 4. Transfer funds between accounts. I trust that I am not being unreasonable with my expectations so I have to ask Chase......... WTF are you thinking??? Why am I unable to make a deposit in your ATM's at this location? You do not even have it listed as an option! I tried both the drive up ATM as well as the one in the lobby and both did not offer that option. Perhaps the folks back East do not need this but I sure do. Unfortunately this branch has terrible customer service. They screwed up my accounts so bad. I ended up having to close all my accounts and re-open new ones (I went to a different branch to do this). Also when I got married and took my Marriage License in so they could change my name, the banker took it from me and didn't bring it back, it turns out he shredded it!!! read more

Amazing customer service. They were able to help me out even thought I'm from out of state and have a very new account with them. I had an issue that even the 1-800 number customer service side would not help me with and these guys helped me in a matter of minutes. Honestly the bank tellers have no freaking idea what the hell they are doing ! They need more training and better customer service.

Tellers need more training. When I was asked why I needed to show ID to deposit cash, the lady just said, "I don't know, that's just what we do." Seriously? I worked as a teller at a bank for four years, that kind of answer just makes customers want to punch someone in the face. Also, they NEVER ANSWER THEIR PHONE!! Seriously, I have even tried calling every hour all day once and nobody ever answered. I was trying to get a question answered without having to load up all my kids and go inside. I've had a problem with my accounts (the problem started elsewhere, not with this branch) that was rather complicated, and the bankers have really been working hard to help me. It's taken a while (not their fault) and a lot of work on their part, but they do try. They've also been very good about some weird check issues I've had, again, always trying to be helpful. Our accountant highly recommended Chase and my mom, who is a financial advisor, has been a longtime fan. So after years with USAA and Bank of America we consolidated into Chase, here at the local branch in Poulsbo. We now have multiple personal and business accounts here and the service has been nothing but friendly and professional. And their online banking is also top notch. Extra cool points that they offer free checking accounts to veterans. Today, I just opened a new checking account for our 13-year-old son. Kara, the banker who's helped us several times before, was great and treated him like the real client he was. Love doing business with this local bank. read more

This bank is awesome! Customer service goes so far out of the way to take care of you. I have never been to a more wonderful bank.
