At first he seemed like a good choice and he told me that it might take a few years until he could start working on it. All good so far. In 2-3 years he called me and asked for $5000 because he had started working on it. Great I thought. Several months later he asked for another $5000. Good we must be making progress. Many months later he asked and I sent another $5000. At that time I asked when will it be done assuming it must be close to finished. He replied "Done?, I just have it completely apart". I told him that in the beginning I could swear he said it would be around $15,000 or so to do and he then said "Oh no, probably closer to $30,000 - $35,000 but don't worry it will be worth that much". I was shocked but felt I needed to let him finish with few other options. Unfortunately, it only got worse. He actually took it apart in the first 3-4 years he had it, and then virtually stopped working on it. I live in Ohio and I would visit Florida about every 6 months to check for any progress and every time all I got were excuses with no progress. He assured me "he would get it done" even when I told him he had already promised me that several times and still did nothing. I will be 70 next month and the last few times I pleaded with him and told him in all seriousness I wanted the bike back while I might still be alive. Finally after him having the bike for 8 1/2 years I gave up and picked up my disassembled motorcycle a few months ago. I have since taken my bike to New Hampshire and the new guy has more done in 8 weeks than what took Tom High over 8 years. If you want to waste money for very little work, enjoy hearing BS excuses, and plan to live to the age of 200, this is your guy!

Tom is a pleasure to speak with and there's always at least two-dozen interesting motorcycles in various states of repair. he also has an interesting selection of motorcycle leathers and valuable insight if you own or ride any airhead or flying brick BMW. They don't make them like they used to. I'd recommend him if you're looking for an airhead wizard anywhere in Florida.

Test drove it I liked it so we went inside to run some number, sales person (Mike) asked me for my credit score it told him 750, automatically tells me that's not "tier 1" and the interest rate will be rather high than someone with "good credit", which is a lie because anything over 700 is tier 1. He did not want to work out any sort of deal, didn't even run my credit to see that's it really was good, basically told me " why give you a deal when we can wait a couple days and make a better sale of someone else" Went to Harley after and it turns out my credit was 791 and was able to finance a BRAND NEW 48 sporty for LESS than what Mike wanted me to pay for a used one

I went there with my Harley Road King and ask him to put a fuel manager to give me more power at…read morehigher speeds. He charged me $500 for the fuel manager $700 for parts and pieces. The fuel manager is a simple plug and play from what I understand. it's very easy to get to and he said he changed the air filter because it had oil in it. The air filter he showed me was one he took out of the bike. The one dirty filter he showed me wasn't even for my bike. I looked at the air filter a few days later and it's the one that's been in there.He also said he replaced the fuel lines in the tank. I pulled the tank of and checked. Their suppose to be white but mine were brown from being in the gas for several thousand miles. I wouldn't recommend this guy at all. He didn't give me a copy of the supposed work he did. And no receipt. I'm 63 and I'm mad at myself for allowing him to cheat me! I'm actually not even sure it's even a new fuel manager. I'm out $1000 and he wanted another $200 for the "new fuel hoses".

The guy that took over Sonny's garage is a real crook. I had my son's car towed to the shop and I…read moretold him to let me know what the problem is before he fix anything. He called and told me the car was misfiring and he also told my son that too. We both gave him the okay to proceed with the car. He called my son back and told him that he needs back brakes and 1 rotor. Which my son said he gave him a price for that. So I called him and asked him about the brakes and the one rotor. He gave me a different price from what he gave my 18 year old son. So when I asked him about the price he gave my son. He started getting loud and mad. He told me to come and get the car and don't come back. So when I arrived to pick up the car I paid him $500 and I left. The following week the car started doing the same exact thing that it was doing when I took it to him to fix it.So I returned back to the shop and he told me that he wasn't going to fix the car. So he said he was going to called the police and I told him to call the f**** police and I'll wait for them because you did something to my son's car before I got there. So the police came and I told the police my side of the story and then the police said he will see if the car was under warranty and it should be. So the cop walked up to the mechanic and I stood outside the road while he tells the cop a lie. The cop came back to me and stated that he said that the parts are under warranty but not the parts that are missing I asked the cop what part(s) is missing? The cop said he doesn't know what part is missing. I said that doesn't make any sense and what did I pay for? He never mentioned anything other than what I paid for. The only thing is missing is whatever he did to the car before I got there. So he verbally trespassed me and I will see him in court with that body cam video with him saying what he said. Please stay away from that guy. He's a crook and he is the only mechanic that works there. Sonny's is no longer there and he was an honest person from what I was told. That's why I went there and I didn't know Sonny retired from there
