It looks like what an Irish pub should be. They piur a great pint of Guinness. Has the Irish breakfast which is my favorite kind of breakfast, even if I had it for lunch. I especially love the black and white pudding. I believe they get this and their sausages and rashers from Ireland. I found it quit lovely.

This place gets BUSY! We stopped in to grab an afternoon beer and the bar was packed. We waited close to 10 minutes. Bar staff was not welcoming or friendly when we finally were able to order. The atmosphere is fun but doubt we'll stop back here again.

Large, Irish themed restaurant featured on the Food Network. I love the decor on the inside, really making it feel home-y. We came for lunch and our waitress was friendly and attentive. Food came out right away too and was delicious. Their menu had a variety of items as well. I'd love to come back here again for either lunch or dinner!

This is from my experience this past Fall yet I'm still thinking about it. I visited my sister who is a traveling ultrasound tech and we ended up here one night for dinner. The only "complaint" I have is it was loud LOUD. Like I am good with loud but it was popping! I guess I'm getting old lol but that truly wouldn't stop me from going back. The drinks... amazing. Food? Amazing. And large portions for leftovers that weee just as good. May be the best salmon dish I've ever had. My sister and friend had the shepherds pie which they loved. Atmosphere is great with live music that night... and noisy people having a great time! I would return to Syracuse and come straight here!!

Was there prior to a show at the landmark with our group and had a wonderful experience! Staff was energetic and fun, the restaurant is lovely inside, cozy and clean atmosphere. The food and drinks were delicious all around and I was very impressed with portion size to price. The Reuben fritters and wings were the stars of our lunch show. Highly recommend going if you haven't and continue going if you've already been. Maybe I'll see you there, Enjoy!!

Great service and atmosphere. One of the few nice places to sit down for lunch downtown during the week.

Wow! What a charming place. There are knick knacks decorating the place everywhere and a true pub feeling. The service was friendly and made sure we had everything we needed. Food was stellar! This was some of the best onion soup I have ever had. The menu describes it as a guinness onion soup with four kinds of onions. Great depth of flavor in the broth and executed well. Everything we had was amazing. It does get loud like a pub and parking is limited to the street (parking garage nearby) but keep that in mind.

Classic Irish pub in Syracuse, it's perfect. Sure, it's been Americanized a bit but that's okay. You can't expect it not to adapt! The hostess was able to find a table for me in the back with a power outlet and so this was my afternoon "office" today. I was here for about three hours in the back dining room. It didn't manage to get too busy that I felt I was taking up a table so it was cool. A tasty local beer followed by an order of their "Irish cannonballs." Great stuff. A ball of corned beef with swiss cheese and sauerkraut all formed into a ball and deep fried for a moment. They were absolutely fantastic and would be a perfect starter dish. For me, afternoon snack. It was a perfect afternoon hangout with beer, food and while I wasn't able to find a wifi, my hotspot worked great. [Review 1536 of 2024 - 452 in New York - 22559 overall]

I don't think I've ever been so dedicated to reverse engineer a recipe as I am the Rueben fritters?! They were phenomenally unique and I wish I was local so I could have all the time. The Rueben sandwich was also delicious. My favorite part was seeing the local Potato Ladies photo on the wall in the dining room!

We celebrated Valentine's Day here and it was such a lovely evening! Service, food, and drinks were all top notch. They had a special Valentine's Day menu available, and we enjoyed getting to choose from these curated options. We did it all: drinks, appetizer, entrees, and dessert. They served complimentary Bailey's with our check which was a sweet ending to the holiday. The authentically Irish setting makes Kitty Hoynes a standout downtown- this place is so much more than just another Irish Pub!

My family and I were driving through Syracuse and decided to stop here for dinner since the menu had a lot of good-sounding options. Initially, I had planned to order a sandwich, but the waitress was stand-off ish and not very helpful in answering my questions (eg what is bacon rasher? What is champ?) so I panicked and ordered a salad because that seemed like a safer option. The food came out quick but sadly, the "Summer Berry Salad" ended up being a pile of limp spinach, mushy berries, and dry chicken. It had absolutely no flavor and was unenjoyable to eat. I also ordered a side of sweet potato fries but they were flavorless and soggy. There's no nice way to put it - this meal/dining experience was just bad and very disappointing.

After a evening of shopping, it was time to wind down so considering the options we chose Coleman's. Place was packed as always. The band was setting up to start to play in an hour. We got a table out back. Hankering for a shepherds pie that is one of the premier meals here. But before that we got ourselves, some spinach and artichoke dip. I haven't had this in what feels like decades. It was pretty darn good. Plenty of chips and plenty of dip. So much so, that I brought the leftovers home. So both of us did go with the shepherds pie. Both of us really enjoyed it. It came out, piping hot, with the mashed potatoes on top, covering up the beef, sauce, peas, onions, and whatever else they put in this thing! A drink to top off the evening.

Im out of town and its at least a 30 min drive and she said "if you think you left it here then Im sure is here". What kind of answer is that? Dropping from 5 to 3 stars for the horrible customer service. I was in the area visiting friends and they took us to Coleman's for dinner and a concert. What a fun local spot! The food was great, everyone enjoyed their meal. I got the guinness beef stew which came out steaming hot in a bread bowl. I loved the gravy, if anything wish there was a little more meat but the flavor was delicious. The service great, our waitress was a nice young lady who was attentive and helpful. Afterwards we went outside for a concert and drinks. The band was playing older and newer covers until 10pm. Was a really fun end to our night, highly recommend.
