Received my Mother's Day flowers-vase wat too small with narrow neck that they shoved the flowers in tightly. Some were beginning to droop because their stems didn't reach water. Decorative leaves shoved in so I could barely see them. I moved to larger vase. Stems were ragged and cut in all lengths so many could reach water. Some stems were broken. Some flowers and leaves barely had a stem. What a damn mess! The entire arrangement is already dying 2 days post Mother's Day. Disappointing to say the least! read more

I called Kitty's Flowers and explained what happened, they were very apologetic and made plans with me to deliver the correct arrangement the next day, and they added a balloon to the arrangement!!! Note: I would have given Kitty's a higher rating if I felt that the value for the money was better. That said, I don't buy flowers very often, so I have no concept of how much they really cost or how much work goes into making bouquets, etc. So, I want to state up front that it's possible I could be a little unfair. I recently used Kitty's for my wedding. Kitty's has a great reputation in the community; they've always been a name you can trust. The flowers always look great, and they have a good delivery service. The staff is very good, too. The shops are clean, well appointed, and make you want to browse around. I met with their wedding specialist, to go over my wedding floral desires. I wanted to keep it simple and inexpensive, and she said she would honor that. She couldn't tell me how much anything cost the day I met with her, however. She emailed me a proposal a week or so later, instead. The proposal was quite a bit over what my stated budget was, so I had to pare it down. I ended up not purchasing centerpieces for my reception from Kitty's, for example. Somehow I just couldn't stomach paying over $20 per bunch of CARNATIONS. I ended up paying full price for bouquets, as I really didn't want to compromise on that. The prices for boutonnieres and corsages were what I expected, so I had no problem with those. The day of the wedding, the bouquets, corsages, etc. arrived at the venue a couple hours early as planned. I was a bit surprised (in a negative way) at my bouquet size and quality. I'm too embarrassed to state the bouquet price here... I will say that the bouquet was quite lovely, and I did like the ribbon and pin work. A few of the flowers were dying or damaged, however. I don't know... for the price I paid, I was disappointed. I would have been completely satisfied with it for 1/2 or maybe even 2/3 the price. My advice to other brides would be to shop around. I only went to Kitty's, and it's possible I could have gotten a better deal elsewhere. read more

They advertise same day delivery. Placed an order at 8 AM. They were being sent to my daughter at the University down the street. She did not receive them that same day.I called them the next morning. My daughter received an email after 530 saying they were delivered to student services but they closed at 4:30. The flower shop said they were delivered before 330. They were not. I was also told she would get a call when they were delivered. That never happened either read more

They were not cheap but they made an amazing and unique bouquet for me based on a photo i brought in. they did a good job with my unique requests for my small wedding party as well. i got tons of compliments on my bouquet. i was a difficult client as i planned things form the west coast, had very specific needs, and am used to flowers being about 20% the cost since i live near flower growers in CA. despite all that, they turned out really well. read more

I recently received the best customer service from Kitty's that I can recall from any business in a very long time. I live on the west coast and had ordered flowers for a funeral service on the east coast in Salisbury. I placed my order with 1800 flowers on Friday for a Saturday no later than 4 pm delivery and they assured me they would contact me upon delivery. No contact, so I call around 4 and after over an hour working with their call center to no avail.... I called Kitty's, and mind you this was a Saturday after 5 p.m., and they graciously accommodated me by going in Sunday a.m. to put an arrangement together and deliver to the Sunday morning funeral service. The people that set the wedding flowers up( we had flowers in various locations around the venue) were quick at their work and didn't leave until we had seen and approved all that they had done. I came into this location to buy flowers and balloons. The two older women who worked the front counter on July 1st 2016 at around 4:40 pm, were not happy to see me come in the door. I didn't know the store closed at 5pm and perhaps that's why I was not greeted or treated well. DO NOT go to this store anywhere NEAR closing time because apparently they don't need the money then. They just want to get off and actually made a sarcastic remark about it. The two dozen roses wilted the next day. The balloons were nice, but I would rather buy from Walmart (sadly) if the small businesses experience will be like this at Kitty's. A previous reviewer noted the rude service. I guess they hired another person of the same ilk because now they have two. This business has been around for many years. I believe in supporting establishments that provide great services and products. They missed the mark on both points. read more

On Friday March 24th I order flowers for my daughter for a very special occasion. I knew she would be on the campus since she had work to do during Spring break. I called at 10am, Kitty's staff was very helpful. They said they would get them to her before 3pm and I asked if they could do it earlier since I felt bad I was not able to drive down and see her in person. BY 10:30am, they had called her and delivered a beautufl vase of fresh flowers and she was totally shocked and sent me the photo. The flowers were beautiful and the service outstanding.
