I ordered an arrangement for a $70 designers choice bouquet for delivery for my parents anniversary. I've ordered bouquets from other places several times for more than $70 and always been dissatisfied or disappointed with the product. This was my first time ordering from Sonya's and I am so happy that I did. My mom could not be happier, the flowers are so gorgeous. Received something else that I didn't not order. I ordered Red roses and Sunflowers and filler. The worker said she could do 2 sunflowers I said that's fine 2-3 so I assumed they were big. UGLIEST BOUQUET EVER. EVER. EVER. I can't even tell you how disappointed I am with this florist. (Using "disappointed" was my way of not saying words I try not to use, at least in public...) Pure garbage! I put in a Mother's Day order for the "deal of the day", advertised as "Our designers will create a one-of-a-kind bouquet with the freshest and most beautiful flowers available. Flowers will be chosen from our large selection of fresh mixed cut flowers." I chose the most expensive "deal" for $85, knowing my MIL would get a very large, beautiful, fresh, spring bouquet. How could I think that??? Oh yeah - because the florists near here do that, as do the ones near my mom. It allows them to use their creativity, of which Sonya's has a sad dearth. What a joke. I should've known a place with NO ratings (but no one else has any, either, except crappy ones!) would use the cheapest flowers out there, along with any others they needed to get rid of. Except the two roses stuck in at the bottom (the stems probably broke so they figured they'd get rid of them this way...), the rest are "filler" flowers, & don't even "go" with the roses. One-of-a-kind the bouquet certainly is. So are Shane MacGowan and Jocelyn Wildenstein, but I dare you to find anyone who thinks they are anything but F. U. G. L. Y. And if those are the "most beautiful flowers available", then they either have no idea idea from where to procure theirs or what beauty is. From the look of the bouquet, I'd say the latter for sure, & maybe the former, as well. DON'T use Sonya's if you want a pretty, creative bouquet! DO use them if you want to insult someone. read more

I was not well enough today to pick up flowers for my moth memorial table. I entrusted this duty to my sister and husband and told them what must be in the arrangement. Today my wife stopped by Sonya's Floral Boutique to show them something amazing. 2 of the carnations I bought her for her birthday in mid-February are still alive & have all their scent after over 1 month. She does rinse & trim the stems every few days when she changes the water but adds nothing to the water. The ladies at Sonya's were so surprised & pleased that my wife came in to show them they gave her a few more carnations. Their prices are a little bit higher than other florists but for flowers that last it's worth it. read more

DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE. I ordered a Valentine's Day bouquet for my mom and a box of chocolates. When I ordered they told me they may not have the exact flowers as in the pics, i said that's fine as long as it's going to be the same size and adequate substitutions. The flowers come, NO chocolates, and it looks NOTHING LIKE what i ordered. Yes i am well aware flowers were substituted, but the size is not even half of what it was supposed to be, the shape is crap, and the flowers they subbed in were flowers that i could have gotten at FOOD LION. When i called back asking for some sort of compensation, either partial return of money or full, or maybe a different arrangement, they flat out refused stating the flowers were beautiful, which was laughable, and that it was worth my money. I'm sorry but does this look like a $90 arrangement to you? NO. Save yourself the headache and go somewhere with class. will attach photos soon. read more

After the passing of my mother-in-law, someone sent flowers to my home. A note was left by the delivery person. My son was home and I have 3 dogs. Florist claims the doorbell was rang but they went to the garage door entrance. Knocking on that door,how is anyone supposed to hear that? Door bell wasn't used at all because my dogs would've gone crazy if it was. An attempt wasn't made to the front door. When I called to inquire about it I was told they have been doing this for 30 years, the doorbell was used, it wasn't, no phone number was left to contact me for instructions and if I wanted it I needed to pick it up. I feel this is very unprofessional and unacceptable. Why is it my responsibility to go pick this up when someone paid to have it delivered & it wasn't done properly? I told them to keep it. They did call back. After abrief conversation with a reluctant employee, it will be reattempted tomorrow. I wouldn't recommend them because of this practice and the attitude I got from the store employee when I called back to ask about the delivery. read more

I live in the UK. My mother is in her 90s and lives in Salisbury. I like to send her things for birthdays and holidays, and I've had very good luck with this company. If I ask for something special they always do it. Sometimes they suggest things I wouldn't have thought of. Delivery has been prompt. With all the worries that come with being so far away, at least I know I can trust Sonya's. Top notch! read more
