A month goes by, no plates. 2 months, no plates. 3 months, no plates. We had a windy spell and the paper plate tore in half and my wife got pulled over for it, and a ticket for not having permanent plates. During this time I tried texting the salesperson, emailing the salesperson, calling the salesperson... no response. Tried contacting the dealership through their contact form on their website, no response. Called the DMV and they had no record of plates being ordered for the car, and said the plates should have been on it when it was bought so I had to order new plates, which now don't match what's on the title. 2. I noticed the front didn't have a plate bracket on it and when I asked about it the salesperson said "LA county doesn't require front plates on EV's." Which I thought was wrong and I checked when I got home and yeah, he was wrong. All passenger vehicles operating in the entire state of CA require front plates. 3. The charging connecter was broken. The nub that clamps down to secure the connection to the car. Not a huge deal, it still charges fine, but still. 4. Not a big deal but was promised one of those leather key fob covers. The salesperson said he'd call when he got it. Never called. This salesperson clearly was just after the sale and once it was done, wiped his hands of it. Got an OK deal on the car (1 star) and the service people seem ok to deal with so far (2nd star). Those are the only positive things I can say about this place. The post-sale experience with the salesperson (ie: non existent) and the communication with the location in general were frustrating and make me sigh in annoyance when I have to take the car for service. Luckily the service department is a better experience.

The advisor who initially helped me was very nice and recommended additional service since I was approaching 60,000 miles. I specifically asked about the cost and was told around $500-$600. The written estimate showed $528. When I came to pick up the car, the bill was suddenly over $900. The original advisor had already left, and the person at the counter seemed uninterested in helping. When I questioned the charges, I was told the estimate "didn't include parts." He wasn't joking. On top of that, the electrical issue I originally came in for was never addressed. I was told the battery was fine, and the guy at the counter had no idea what I was talking about. He explained that electrical problems are handled by another department and not by maintenance :-) They even got my name wrong. I ended up paying $844, my issue remains unresolved, but hey, they washed the car ! Poor communication, unexpected charges, and unresolved issues are not what I expect from a dealership service department. Lesson learned -- I won't be back.

After making my decision, I contacted Alex, the sales representative, and promptly provided all the required documents. My only request was that the process not take an unnecessarily long time because of my pregnancy. Alex then transferred me to Maria, and unfortunately My experience changed completely. From the beginning, she spoke to me in a disrespectful and condescending manner. At one point, she even told me that I probably didn't understand things because of "cultural and language differences." I found that comment extremely offensive and inappropriate. No customer should ever be made to feel judged or stereotyped because of their background or language. I decided that Im not comfortable doing business with a dealership that made me feel discriminated against, so I chose to purchase the same vehicle elsewhere. I hope the dealership takes this feedback seriously and ensures that every customer is treated with professionalism, respect, and dignity.
