My experience at Loyal Signature Motors was incredibly disappointing. I had an appointment to look at a 2017 Volvo XC90 T8 Plug-in Hybrid, but when I arrived, the salesperson wasn't prepared for my visit despite receiving a text confirming my appointment. From the beginning, his attitude was rude, dismissive, and condescending. When I mentioned that I had previously asked about the warranty coverage on the vehicle, instead of simply answering my question, he responded, "What kind? There's a lot." I explained that I was asking whether there was bumper-to-bumper coverage, but he acted as though my question was unreasonable. I'm currently shopping several Volvos, so I didn't immediately remember which one I had inquired about. Rather than helping me figure it out, he snapped, "Which one? I have a lot." It felt like every question I asked was met with irritation instead of customer service. The worst part came when we discussed the vehicle itself. He repeatedly told me, "Let me educate you," while providing information that was simply false. He insisted that the Volvo XC90 T8 was not a plug in- electric/gas vehicle and proceeded to explain how a regular gas hybrid works. When I asked why the vehicle has a charging port and what the electric-only driving range was, he claimed it was basically "just the way cars were built that year" and that it was "the style." That explanation is completely inaccurate. The XC90 T8 is a plug-in hybrid with a rechargeable high-voltage battery that can drive on electric power before the gasoline engine is needed. Ironically, during my test drive I found the Plug-in Hybrid driving modes myself, confirming the vehicle absolutely does have an electric driving function. I don't expect every salesperson to know every technical detail about every vehicle, but I do expect honesty, professionalism, and respect. If someone doesn't know the answer, they can simply say so or look it up. Instead, I was talked down to, given incorrect information, and treated as though I didn't know what I was talking about. Buying a car is a major purchase, and customers deserve to be treated with respect--not condescension. As a Black and Asian woman, I also left feeling that I was treated differently than I should have been. I can't say for certain what motivated his behavior, but the dismissive tone, condescending comments, and overall treatment made me feel singled out and raised concerns that race may have played a role in how I was treated. Regardless of the reason, no customer should leave feeling disrespected or unwelcome. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this dealership. read more

I bought a 2019 Volkswagen Jetta car from the dealership. I live in Vegas so I can only see the images that were on the listing because the dealership was from LA. Everything looked really nice on the images however, when I received it, it had a lot of the imperfections That they did not include included the images. When I first received the car, it had this terrible smell. It's been almost a month and it still hasn't come out. I have tried taking it to a mechanic to see if they could help me out I've changed the air filters, but it's still smells really bad. One thing I will say for sure is always check with the contract say. They told me once I've received the car. It's mine. There's no return policy or anything which I think is not even allowed. Usually car dealerships give you anywhere between a week and two weeks to see if it has any issues for you to return. I understand I got it from LA but it's the contract that caught me off guard. Terrible, do not trust. I bought a car for my son for college, his 1st car. First of all, I went to look at another car shown on their website. I drove 1.5 hours, the car had so many tents and scratches, not shown in pictures. ATA showed me a few other cars from my price range. I noticed a nice vehicle a 2013 Ford Fusion Energy. I ask if it was a hybrid plug in because I noticed a front circle door. ATA said no it's fuel. Battery was dead. Should have know then there was a problem. I had to wait for them to charge it for a test run. Took it home because they showed me a CARFAX said everything was good with the car and the car had been maintenance, find out it's a plug in, check engine light turned on 3 weeks later, car won't charge. Nothing bad to say about original salesman Ari, who was nice enough and pretty well informed on the car. Test drove a Porsche yesterday and really liked it. Seemed fairly well maintained, though dealer didn't have records for its last 8 years of service which also did not appear on the Carfax. Still, not their fault. I was going to get it PPI'd anyway and already had an appt w my German car guy. I came ready with a check and was not planning to even try to negotiate down unless a major but liveable repair needed doing per ppi. If the car was as advertised, it was a good deal. Enter stage right, the old bait and switch! When the manager (forget his name) saw that I was a cash buyer (eg no shady financing to profit off), he quickly did a run down of three additional charges for $995 each that were ALREADY on car and could NOT be removed: paint protection film - BS as the car has visible front paint damage which i was planning to have fixed; some kind of scam theft system that "registers each panel" of the car (as if a Porsche buyer is going to wanna go through that process instead of their own insurance for a stolen or stripped car!), and door sill guards (at a rate of 100 x the price of same made-in-China install-in-one-minute plastic thing on Amazon! (Seriously, look it up!) What is funny is as I'd mentioned that the car was pretty fairly priced. If it had been priced at $53k instead of $50, and then a TRANSPARENT transaction without $3k of bait-and-switch BS took place, I truly would have been game and completed it at the slightly higher price! But on principle, I can't buy from you when your tactics include bait and switch (and you don't even advertise your extra blanket fees anywhere on your site!) Aside from being a porschefile and physician, I am a big consumer advocacy fan. I am awaiting an apology for the above (not an offer to buy the car- that ship has sailed.) If not, think I'll be sending them a mystery shopper via the FTC's consumer tip line next month for some old fashioned gotcha fun! read more

Ignored my gut feeling and got the car anyway because I needed a work car. Two weeks after owning it started to have the common dash issue where the dashboard doesn't turn on. Car still ran so I ignored the issue because I got bills to pay. A month or so goes by and now the car fully breaks down while I'm working. This place is the quintessential stereotype of a used car dealer. The whole good guy bad guy sales technique was used. Still we liked the car but it was priced over book. The person who handles the finance (bad guy) made us a full priced offer plus $3,000 in fees for paint protection blah blah blah. We said no thanks. We told him of another similar vehicle at a different dealership that was priced much lower. He wanted us to prove it to him. So we did. He then said ok I will give you my best offer if my manager approves it and then he wrote down the full price and added $3,000 so the same price. We told him we don't play games he said then go buy that other car. So we left and went and bought that other car! I love it! Don't go here unless you want to be harassed by the dealer.
