We gave them several days in advance so if there were any issues they could be addressed in plenty of time. My daughter placed a deposit at the time the order was made. I think it was something like $70. When I went to pick up the cookies it was close to closing time on a Saturday (I think. If not it was Friday) I finished paying for the order which was about another $72. +/- As soon as I got home my daughter and daughter in law took one look at the cookies and said they did t want them. We never even opened the box . It was that noticeable. The designs looked as though a 1st grader had done them. I called the bakery... no answer. I left a detailed msg. As well as sending a msg via FB. No reply at all. It took me waiting the whole weekend to call and get a hold of someone. It was the owner/ husband. In short.. he would take them back and give me $70. Back. He said the deposit they had to keep. Said it was in the contract! WHAT CONTRACT?!?? Cause neither of us signed a contract. He wouldnt respond to me when I asked for a copy of that contract. I decided not to deal with him! After another day or so they ended up goat treats! All until I can take them to court. You can get any kind of coffee you may need and I think it's all fairly priced. My wife is a picky eater and she enjoys her food. If you go around 10am it's usually pretty empty and you can have a nice quiet breakfast with work laptop. You can park in the back and walk through the back door or park across the street by the train tracks. Parking is free but it can the hard to find a spot in the front during busy times and most people don't know that locust grove has free parking around the square.
