When I arrived at the store, he looked at my phone and gave me a more detailed understanding of each step, and which components might be affected, and gave me enough information to know at which point we would fully repair the phone or fix it enough to salvage data and replace it, or not bother and save my money for a replacement. I felt well informed and knew that I would not be stuck with more costs than would be worthwhile. In half a day, Jordan called to tell me what the damage was and had my phone fully repaired and in better shape than it has been in years. Went home after having a new back glass installed for 106USD to find out that - Front Camera is not working -power button is slightly stuck -no sound - volume buttons aren't working -phone started to get really hot so I disconnected it from charger Went to the shop this morning to sort out the issue, and the technician there attempt to fix what happened with the phone and the only option I had to accept him replacing the original spare parts with non-original spare parts An hour later went to the shop to find the phone in pieces with the fire extinguisher on the desk and the battery seemed melted Had to speak on the phone to 2 of the managers where one of them was trying to manipulate And twist the facts saying the glass is fine but they are offering to fix the phone , I demanded a refund for the service I paid for and have them repairing the phone as they were the ones who caused to damage due to poor installation After a lengthy talk and haggling I was offered to have the glass they installed removed , having a refund paid getting the phone fixed at their costs which I agreed to Mins later I was told this is not possible and I can only get either a refund or have them fixing my phone , they even refused to replace the device So I had to bear the loss with them Not taking ownership of what happened , I agreed to the refund and took back the phone which is now literally a piece of metal I am believer that mistakes could happen but it is how they handled it , their manipulative and twisting techniques in dealing with situations like this I'll be writing everywhere about them
