AVOID GOING TO THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS Absolutely disgraceful experience (avoid going to this place at all costs) I went to this shop to fix my the back of my iPhone which was shattered , the phone was fully functioning without any issues. Went home after having a new back glass installed for 106USD to find out that - Front Camera is not working -power button is slightly stuck -no sound - volume buttons aren't working -phone started to get really hot so I disconnected it from charger Went to the shop this morning to sort out the issue, and the technician there attempt to fix what happened with the phone and the only option I had to accept him replacing the original spare parts with non-original spare parts An hour later went to the shop to find the phone in pieces with the fire extinguisher on the desk and the battery seemed melted Had to speak on the phone to 2 of the managers where one of them was trying to manipulate And twist the facts saying the glass is fine but they are offering to fix the phone , I demanded a refund for the service I paid for and have them repairing the phone as they were the ones who caused to damage due to poor installation After a lengthy talk and haggling I was offered to have the glass they installed removed , having a refund paid getting the phone fixed at their costs which I agreed to Mins later I was told this is not possible and I can only get either a refund or have them fixing my phone , they even refused to replace the device So I had to bear the loss with them Not taking ownership of what happened , I agreed to the refund and took back the phone which is now literally a piece of metal I am believer that mistakes could happen but it is how they handled it , their manipulative and twisting techniques in dealing with situations like this I'll be writing everywhere about them read more

When I first got my phone back it seemed great! Within 48 hours I noticed the buttons were funny when trying to text. I'd have to hit a button 2 or 3 times to get it to work. Now I can not touch anything on the top left of my screen and I can't get it off the Lock Screen as it is not registering when I try to type in pass code. The phone shield I paid $10 extra for cracked the first week and is separating from the glass. I currently can not use the phone AT ALL!!!! I am extremely upset. This repair cost $100 and I have an unusable phone. The worst part is I moved and can't take it back to have them make this right! I DESERVE A REFUND so I can afford to take my phone somewhere that will REALLY fix it. I wish I would have waited a week to leave my original review. I'm kicking myself. read more

I had a Motorola 7power with a bad screen and had the battery replaced but right in the middle of class it would not turn on anymore and the screen was coming off. I decided to save an insurance claim and take my cracked iPhone to be repaired. I also needed a screen repair on an iPad. When I returned, Cameron said there weren't any issues in replacing the screen. Said it was a simple repair. However, the ear speaker on the phone wasn't working and he couldn't figure out why. After waiting hours and much longer than the time quoted, he told me to come tomorrow and speak to his manager Dre. The manager was nice and seemed way more educated and helpful. He was honest enough to tell me the Cameron tore a piece in my phone when replacing the screen and replaced it with a defective piece. This wasn't mentioned to me at all the day before. When I asked if he had issues, Cameron said no. Clearly lied to a customer. I had to make a 3rd trip back to the store the next day waiting for the piece to come in. In addition, the screen on the iPad wouldn't respond to touch. So I had to take that back to the store too!!! I gave 2 stars solely because Dre was helpful as much as he could be and fixed our devices. It's a shame it took so long to fix something that should be simple. The cost was not cheap either! I am fearful my screen will start to peel away too as some of the other reviewers encountered. I hoping not. It was a very frustrating process. I was hoping Dre would have refunded us some portion for all the hassle but he did not. If you're keeping score: I had to make 3 trips back, was lied to, longer than quoted wait times, the 'repair' on both devices had to be redone. I will not be returning for any new repairs. I'd rather file a claim and pay the insurance. At least I know it's quality and a job done right without the frustration and inconvenience I encountered this time. If u do decide to use this place, I recommend having Dre do the work. He is a nice guy and tried to help and redo/fix the debacle that was done by Cameron!! My son had dropped and cracked the screen on my Ipad 2. I had the Ipad repaired at the Sanford, FL IfixandRepair location in September, 2013. In the process of repairing the Ipad, the technician also broke the WiFi and the 3G cables. So, a repair that was quoted to take one day, actually took nine days. I received the Ipad back the day before I went out of state for a month. About a week after the Ipad was repaired, it started working incorrectly, the screen would begin opening apps and typing all on its own. I called the Sanford store and they stated that there was only a 30 day warranty. I would not be returning to the Sanford area within the 30 day window, so I thought I was out of luck. December, 2013, I took the Ipad back to the Sanford store to inquire about it being repaired. The store manager now stated that I was outside of the 90 day warranty window. This surprised me, as I was under the impression the warranty was only for 30 days. He said that he was a new store manager and that the old manager was doing some "funny things", that is why he was replaced. I asked why I was only given a 30 day warranty, the new store manager said that was wrong and the company's policy is 90 days. If I had known it was 90 days, I would have had it repaired, but since I was under the impression there was only a 30 day warranty and I didn't get back home until after the 30 days, I just let it go. The store manager would not help in any way and simply told me to call the corporate office. Our Ipad is virtually useless to us at this point and IfixandRepair will not take responsibility. I recommend not using this company to fix any device you own. read more

I don't want to even leave a star. These guys are con artists'. I had gotten my iPhone 6 screen replaced back in mid April from ifixandrepair in Sanford Florida (the mall). About 2 months later the screen started typing on its own, opening and closing apps, making phone calls etc. so I took it back to the store. When I returned to the store I did not have a receipt but I did bring my bank statement juuusssttt incase. The guy immediately was an a$@hole from the start. He seemed frustrated before I had a chance to explain what the situation was. He looked at the phone, and said "what's your name and phone number?" I said my name and phone number. The gentleman states "we don't have any record of you in system. Where did you get it fixed?" I said "here at this store man! and it was girl with big boobes, glasses and dirty blonde-ish hair" (more brown then blonde). He laughed and said idk who that is and I told him I think he does. The guy couldn't even look me in the eye. I showed him my bank statement to prove the charge and he said "that could be anyone's bank account!!!" Lmao I told him look man, your girl told me if anything happens to the screen just bring it back and we will take care of it. The gentleman says that he doesn't know why the girl would say that because it's a 60 day warranty on it..... AFTER READING THESE REVIEWS THEY JUST BS EVERYBODY!!!! Horrible experience. I went the the Seminole Town Center iFixandRepair on Jan 3 to get my cracked screen replaced. While replacing my screen, my FaceID and sensors located at the top of my iPhone 11 Pro Max were broken. It has now been over two months since I first visited the store and after various visits and mishaps, it became clear the owner and employee I was dealing with was unorganized, inexperienced, and did not care to compensate for the time and money I wasted over the 78 days. Alongside my still broken FaceID and sensors, my low quality screen is lifted very high off the phone and exceeds most cases. Not to mention he was unable to glue it down fully and the pixels underneath the screen are very visible at the bottom of my screen. Please for the love of God do not take your device here if you would like it properly repaired. If there was an option to leave no stars at all, I would change it in a heartbeat. read more

Walked into this store last week and ended up buying an Otterbox case which was $60.00+, my son then changed his mind so I went back to return it. OH NO, way down on the bottom of the receipt was a note saying that for this exact case there was a 1-day return policy. Furthermore, the manager is the ONLY person who can return something and he conveniently wasn't there today. So, even if they wanted to refund my money, they couldn't because he wasn't there. Oh, so I guess if someone has a return, they just have to keep coming back to the store until he is there?? What a friggin joke! First, I HATE a store that gives you a hard time about returns. It is retail people, you will have returns and exchanges. I refuse to shop at a store that is crappy about returns or exchanges. Second, perhaps the sales person should have pointed out to me when I purchased the $60 case that it was a 1 day return policy RATHER than telling me to go to their facebook page to like them so I can be entered to win an Ipad!! They would do an exchange, however there wasn't anything else in th store that I needed or wanted for that matter. They got me though, because they got my $60.00, BUT I can guarantee you that they will not get another cent, I don't care if they were the last case store on the planet!! On 05/31/2016, I paid to have my iPhone 6 front glass panel replace. A month later the front glass frame started to gradually pull away from the rest of the phone. I assumed my battery was causing the front glass panel to push away and I went to a store that specializes in batteries. I was shown and educated that there was nothing wrong with my phone or battery. The problem was that the front glass panel was defective. Therefore, I returned to ifix and repair. This was a complete joke! The 20-year-old manager apologized for the defective front glass panel. However, because I was returning to the store 2 days after the 60-day return policy there was nothing he could do but sell me another front glass frame (even after he admitted it was defective). Long story short, I will be initiating a chargeback for the amount of $139.10. read more

I have worked at this company and the disrespect from the managers is abominable. The manager from the Sanford Seminole Towne Center Mall had very a cocky attitude and is so partisan that he wouldn't work with me on my schedule like he said he would and I was there for just over a year and he told me I was going to get paid more than what I was at the time because every person after me came in and made more than me and I asked him later down the road if he checked and was seeing what he could do... I then called his supervisor. The manager lied straight to my face. The managers carelessness is abominable as well. His supervisor told me that he walked in one day and asked him how 25 LCD screens went missing and all the manager could do was shrug his shoulders and say I don't. The Manager also said I don't get along with anybody, but I talked to a woman from one of the stores in the mall and she said that her and I don't have any problems when she comes to the store. I have also been super nice to the customers and yet somehow the manager still doesn't see that. The place is a mess. If I were a customer and I knew all this stuff before hand I would have NEVER go there in the first place. Not to mention that the repairs for Samsung and other android devices are highly overpriced. I'm not going to pay two to almost five hundred dollars to fix a phone screen. I would rather go to insurance and pay for a refurbished phone. Instead of spending that much money on the screen! I bought a Groupon to iFixandRepair to replace the screen of my iPad 4th generation. First they told me it would be 2 hours but it ended up not ready until the next day. That could have been excused if the work and parts were quality. Well they weren't. The screen has ghost images all over it seen on white pages. Plus the screen has lines everywhere. I would give it zero stars but won't let me. I will never come back to this place. Dropped my daughter iPod off for repair and when I returned to pick it up the touch screen did not fit flush. When I asked about it they did not really have answer.. Just told me to keep it in an impact proof case. Also the home button didn't work. When I dropped it off it was working and the guy marked that it was working. When I picked it up it was changed to not working.(FYI if you are going to change the paperwork use the same color ink) They finally offered to have the repair guy look at it again when I refused to except it. One week later the pixals are starting to go and they told me its not covered under the warranty that I caused it. Don't give a warranty if you are not willing to stand behind it. I took my phone to get it fixed and I got it back, six days later my LCD goes bad and they fix it. Returned it with half my screen blacked out. Told me it was water damaged and I had to wait to for more screens to come in. Took it to another place and the display was bad in that one also. My phone has very little water damage and the guy that fixed it today said he looked through it completely. They also said they could only test one more screen on it. But, with the screen replacement I have a 90 day warranty. This is a complete bullshit place. If you need your screen fixed go to Oveido. They are fantastic. read more
