My son has been training a few times a month with KJ for almost 5 years, starting as a 13 y/o struggling at the plate in travel ball, becoming a disciplined contact hitter in high school, and now an 18 y/o playing college baseball who is adding power to the disciplined approach that KJ has taught him. KJ is so calm and patient with his students, breaking the instruction down into simple to understand and execute "feel" adjustments for the individual's swing. Then building the muscle memory with hundreds of live reps every session. I'm always amazed to see the control KJ has taught when they work through the reps - "hit these pull side", "hit these oppo", "hit these up the middle" and he does! Extremely valuable skills as my son has moved into higher-level baseball. Even though my son is working with his college coaches in-season, he plans to keep working with KJ during holiday breaks and off seasons to keep learning more advanced skills. My daughter has been going to KJ for several years now, since she was 12.  We met KJ through her first travel ball team.  When we first met, he said that he wasn't going to change much with her swing because she "rakes".  I wasn't sure at the time what that meant but could see as she continued working with KJ, he knew how to get every ounce of power from her although athletic but petite frame.
