The Kings Quest 18 holes
Jaclyn P.

We love coming to Goldland USA to mini golf. It is always a good time. We have come here for birthday parties and just to get our mini gold fix and it always does the job. Friendly staff, great service and two different fun mini golf courses. If you are looking for a good time and want to get some steps in, head on over to Golfland USA!

Had a nice game of mini golf after dinner around 7 pm. The courses were fun, and a few were challenging as a novice player. The Passage of the Orient section looked racist to me from an Asian perspective. Might as well call it the Great Pagoda instead. Overall, it was a fun activity for date night and with friends.

This was such a fun place, well kept golf land, with challenging 18 hole courses. They have two sides east and west both different levels of difficulty so of course I took the easy one lol. I checked out the inside arcade and it wasn't great, way too small and crowded. Definitely go for the golf.

Golfland is always fun, no matter what age you are. The staff here are really great. We lost a wallet here at night, retraced our steps, and weren't able to find anything. The next day, a staff found us on Facebook and told us that a maintenance worker had found the wallet! We picked it up that night and everything was there. Absolutely appreciate the staff here for being diligent and honest!

I have been here a few times and I guess they have Halloween decor up right now and it is soo cute. $23 for 36 holes. the "easy" side has the scarier decor, lol? One of the holes had Agatha All Along's song Down the Road playing and I love that. It is a fun course and one of the better mini golf places that I have been to. It is outside though so I recommend sunglasses and maybe a hat on a sunny day.

This is the classic South Bay spot for mini golf. Always fun coming back here, they have some fun and unique holes, with a good amount of variation. It can be very crowded on weekends though, and you'll have to wait for the group in front to finish the hole before you can start on it.

Its was ok..came in a sat and it wasnt as pack as we expected. It was a a hot day and thanks to the canopy they have.

Came here at 3pm on Sunday and wasn't too crowded - we were able to move along the course pretty quickly although sometimes there would be a bottleneck (but only for a few minutes!). We played the 18-hole safari course for $18.50. This was a classic fun experience. Many of the holes were pretty similar in style so there wasn't too much variation. It would have been nice to see some more obstacles/moving parts in the course, but overall can't complain!

We celebrated my son's birthday party today and our hosts/coordinators Eddy and Kaitlyn were absolutely AMAZING!!! So attentive and supportive! They made sure to check-in often and provided such great customer service! Literally anything we needed! We booked a 2 hour 2 activity event for a group of 11 kids and 20 adults and they had a wonderful time! Great space, plenty of food and very affordable given our party size! We will be back soon!

A stroll through a land of towering clocks, larger than life windmills that chew up and spit out, and a side arcade complete with DDR. Fun family time and challenges that boggle the mind. A couple of the holes were out of order but all in all a roarin' good time!

This place is so fun! Went here on a day date with my fiancée and we had a blast! We chose the harder course (Safari) which had a few challenging ones but was so fun! If you hit the ball in the 19th hole you get a free game on your next visit. The staff were all really friendly and the place is well kept. There are benches at each hole and trash cans as well. There are also arcade games on the inside and a pretty decent food menu with simple bites perfect for the occasion.

yes, the single activity package include a mini golf as well as 30 arcade credits for $300. the other activities you can choose from is another round of golf, 40 additional credits, or unlimited time play at the arcade (with game restrictions)

YES QUEEN U CAN

So online it says "one game of golf + 20 Arcade credits" then it shows the price of $14.50 is that the price of the whole game or per person?

I believe that would be per person. One round of golf plus 20 credits each for $14.50.

Does anybody know if this one closed the? last time I passes the nursery was gone

Is there a bar or beer served?

No bar here

Any tips on which 18-hole course to pick? Is one easier or more fun?

The "easy" side has the more iconic holes - dragon's mouth, clock tower, red Chinese tower, castle. The "difficult" side has more jump shots and a loop-de-loop hole. Both sides play into the windmill. To be honest, both sides are plenty of fun. If…

Unfortunately we only had 7 so we couldn't do the 8 person reservation. I called to get info about wait times (I understand that they can't give me an exact estimate so I told them give me worse case scenario) and I was advised that the group of 7 could have some long wait times so we opted to just come up with 3 of us. Upon arrival, place was dead other than 2-3 staff members within sight. We asked the individual behind the counter some basic questions being first timers at that location, we ended up purchasing 2 races and we received 1 for free because it was Tuesday and that was just a deal they had. After they took our money they said "well it could be about 30 minutes until you all race" which we responded saying that it's totally fine we will hangout thank you. Well since we had 30 minutes to kill why not buy some arcade credits and mess around (very mediocre arcade at best). After we purchased arcade credits, about 15 minutes went buy another employee came up to us to let us know that if we wanted to race we would have to wait till about 4:45-5pm because a group rented out the facility and there's just nothing they can do. Keep in mind when we purchased our races, 2:23pm to be exact, we got told 30 minutes. Somehow between multiple phone calls to confirm before the long drive and the day of upon arrival purchasing our races not a single individual let us know about this possible booking. ALSO no we did not show up before this group event, they were already there. Which in their defense the employee giving us a refund said "well we are not allowed to tell people about bookings". Great totally understandable I run a business my self and I understand private information etc. however the lying of race times, letting us wait for a bit and following up with "if you don't take the refund we will give you 2 extra races" well thanks but I find it hard to believe we got the full reasoning behind the situation... also to add more context, no we weren't those customers causing issues, being overly loud, or causing any sort of issues. Civilized beings and in return got a pretty S*** end of the stick. K1 speed its self is great but this location is ran by some individuals that have zero interest in making the experience rememberable. K1s slogan "Arrive and Drive" they have printed on their business cards left out crucial information. Arrive and drive past. Keep your money and spend it with a business that will give you the proper attention. Not asking to be treated like royalty. Just some common decency.

It's just that, given how this place is in Cupertino, which I've always been quite fond of, I guess I just thought this course would stand out when, in hindsight, it's probably perfectly fine for what it is. Compared to some of the other courses my friends and I have played around the Bay Area, Deep Cliff is rather unique in its own way. As an executive course, made up entirely of par-3's and par-4's, the full 18 isn't particularly lengthy, which is great for beginners and/or anyone trying to get in a quick round. Yet, while it plays pretty fair for the most part, it still offers some challenges, with the creek/water hazards appearing on several holes, prominent bunkers fronting several holes (especially on the 18th), numerous tree lined fairways that create a narrow feel, and areas that are a bit more wooded, especially along the edge that runs next to an open green space. Despite how some of Deep Cliff's unique features are largely positive, they can cut the other way, too. For example, while all of those trees create some much appreciated shade when it's warm and sunny, those wooded areas are also home to wildlife that will occasionally wander onto the course. Awesome to see, but it can lead to some (understandable) pauses in play as you wait for the deer and the like to clear out. Thankfully, that didn't happen to us and we were here on a weekday, so our pace of play was still pretty steady. However, between that and how short some of the holes are, I can see the course getting bogged down on weekends when there are that many more folks around. As for everything else Deep Cliff has to offer, their facilities and amenities are decent enough. Our cart was serviceable and clean, the pro shop was fine, and their onsite restaurant looked like a nice spot to grab a post-round beer. That said, certain aspects could've been better. At a couple of points, it didn't feel intuitive as to where we should go (the worker at the desk gave us some confusing directions for where the first tee box was) and, most notably, the driving "range" was more like a bunch of netting that you hit into (I know they're limited on space, but still). All in all, even though I'm only giving three stars, I actually think Deep Cliff's three and a half star average is more accurate. It's a solid option for anyone just getting started, as well as more experienced golfers looking to work on their irons or short game, and their rates aren't too shabby. Since it's a bit of a drive from us, though, coming back would be more for a change of pace than as part of our rotation. However, I'm sure we'll be back down the line...and when we do, it'll be with a more appropriate set of expectations that just might lead to an improved review! Until then, THREE AND A HALF STARS rounded down for now.
