Like everyone else will tell you, you need to make a appointment. The place is cheap (though not the cheapest around), but it's convenient and most of them do a decent job. I believe they also do things like waxing and eyebrows, in addition to gel, acrylic, and other special nail things. One thing to note is that they give you a price that seemingly already has tax added in - not tip though. I've come back a few times since I've gotten friendly with some of the girls. 13 year old sister came home with with bleeding cuticles! If you're looking to go this place or send your child please don't! This is an honest review and I have posted a picture of the nails as well! My little sister went here to get her nails done for her middle school graduation and came back with EXTREMELY deep cut cuticles bleeding and half glued tips that she paid $40 for. I understand that sometimes sensitive cuticles may be hurt a little but if you take a look at the picture you'll see how painful they even look! Mainly not giving them a 5 because of how their salon looks. Its not aesthetically pleasing but I went anyways because of the ratings and I was in the area. Also my nail technician sneezed into her hand and just kept working on me. It was nasty. So why did I give them a 4 - because everything else was pretty great. The prices are good. They cover their pedicure bowl with plastic to maintain cleanliness. I got the basic pedi which was fine. She was very gentle and responded to my requests. My manicure was what I loved. They shaped it very well and also had an SNS option that I never saw before and really like. My nails still look like I just got a mani a week later (see photo). Theyre also a talkative bunch and really friendly. A lot of the people there were regulars and it felt like a little community. I will def be going back for manis. read more

I was excited about getting up early Saturday morning to spoil myself. Attendant that service me RUSHED on my feet and when I asked to speak with manager he suggested just adding oil to the bottom of my feet. The first time I was here I had hard gel nails done from a different salon and wanted to switch back to acrylics. Instead of buffing them off, the lady took pliers and LITERALLY ripped them off my nails, which obviously destroyed my nailbeds. The acrylics and color gel manicure that resulted was nice, other than the trauma of having my previous nails ripped off. I decided to go back for a fill for the sake of convenience - BIG MISTAKE. I scheduled an appointment at 7. Despite the fact they close at 8, the lady doing my fill obviously wanted to get out of there ASAP and rushed the curing process. She finished at 7:50 - if she had spent the literal extra 2 minutes to allow my nails to cure properly, it still wouldn't have been past closing time. As a result, FIVE HOURS after my manicure, my nails chipped. I went back to get it fixed the next night. That same night, three of the nails on my other hand chipped and I had to go back. AGAIN. The second time I went back, the nail technicians had the audacity to say - in Chinese so they thought I wouldn't understand - it was my fault because my nails were too pointy. First of all, just because I speak English doesn't mean I don't understand Chinese. You've got guts to be speaking about a customer just because you think "I'm American" and I won't understand you. Secondly, I always get my nails done in stiletto shape and I have NEVER had a gel manicure chip on me. EVER. To have it chip in less than 24 hours and blame it on the shape of my nail is unbelievably ridiculous. The reason it chipped was 1. the technician didn't fully paint the edges of the nail 2. before the curing time was even finished she was moving on to the next coat to finish it faster. The technician also decided that instead of buffing off the shoddy nail job, she would just paint over the existing gel color + top coat with more gel color + top coat. I now have 6 coats of polish on some of my nails. Are you kidding me? By far the worst experience I've ever had. If you're going to be rude at least do good nails. read more

Maybe I went on an off day but my experience was much different from other reviewers'. I had an appointment for 1 let the lady know that I currently had on gel polish and it had to be removed. I arrived, was sat in the back of a salon with 1 jar of acetone for both my hands... ok no problemo. It was my first time getting powder gel and I told them that I wasn't sure of how long it lasts or the process to take them off... the tech smiled and dismissed my comment. The reason for 2 stars is bc the whole process felt very rushed. There was a bit of powder under my nail after I left the salon and the polish itself was very bulky and thick. I've been coming to this salon on and off since it opened. When it opened, the service was great, but slowly declined. I've never been consistently so disappointed. Today was my final straw when I walked in for a 3:30 appointment. There was no one to help me and as I looked for the colors a technician brought me a bowl of acetone to soak my powder gel. I am disgusted with the amount of times I asked her to stop filing hard. I told her I don't think they had the color I wanted where I was pressured to continue being served. I asked for a dark green and left with a red on my nails. When I asked the owner (Lisa) for a discount because every time I leave there I consistently leave in actual tears of frustration. She asked why so I explained 1- I showed a picture of the shape I wanted, still couldn't get it right 2- I asked for one color and was leaving with something completely different. I think brought up how every time I leave there's an issue with the quality of work. They proceeded to say it was my fault and speak a foreign language to each other. The service was ok. If you're looking for somewhere cheap and affordable this would be the place to go to. I got the gel nails done which were $20. She put 3 coats on because it was too light. However it came out very thick on some nails where you could feel a lump of polish. Pedicure was $12 which was cheap but there wasnt anything outstanding about it. I've gotten my pedicures here twice and they've done a great job. I get the spa pedicure and it feels heavenly. It comes with a scrub, leg mask, callous treatment and long massage. Horrible, filthy, and unprofessional! I called around 5:30 and asked if I can come in around 6. I was told to come at 6:30 instead, which I agreed to. I came into the salon at 6:30 on the dot. At 6:55 I still had not been seated, so I asked if it would be much longer. I was led to a manicure table, where I sat another 15 minutes with no one coming up to me. I needed to soak off my gel manicure, and again brought up that I had been in the salon for 45 minutes at that point with no service. The girl shoved a bowl of acetone at me and told me to soak my nails, but I have cuts on my hands, so I asked her to use the cotton and foil method. She did it, but gave me a lot of attitude about it. By the time they sat down to start taking off my existing gel, I realized we wouldn't have time to do a gel manicure, so I told them to just do a regular manicure for me. They did the manicure, and then gave me a tiny fan the size of my palm for drying the nail polish. I asked them if I can use a normal dryer, and they said they don't have any (with a lot of attitude again), that they only have the fans. I sat with the fan for about 20 minutes and my manicure felt more or less dry, but of course the minute I got to my car and reached for the car keys I ruined the polish. Not to mention, while I sat drying with my hands contorted into an uncomfortable position to get the air flow from the tiny fan on all my nails, some lady started sweeping clipped nails and dirt toward me. It was disgusting. This was the worst manicure experience of my entire life and I will never set foot in this salon again. They were rude, unprofessional, and dirty. This place is pretty cheap and is always packed, so try and call ahead of time to book an appointment. Be as detailed as you can when booking (who you would like to be attended by, what process, designs?, etc because every procedure takes a certain amount of time, and if you aren't precise in telling them what you want over the phone, they might not allot you enough time which becomes an uncomfortable situation) Its located below ground level and I never would've noticed it had it not been for Yelp. But I'm so glad I did, because I can get a gel manicure and pedicure, with beautiful execution and color choices, for $40 including tip. I called for a 2pm appt and they said they don't have time till 3pm, okay fine. I get there at 3pm and I waited for 40 minutes. Horrible service!!! I was attended by Sandy, who rushed my acrylic nails. At first she said they'd take too long to do, and I told her it's fine with me. She seemed pretty annoyed (even though it's her job) and hastily did my nails. She charged me an extra $3 for shaping the nail and didn't bother to do them evenly. She then proceeded to aggressively file my nails, 3 of my fingers started bleeding because of how hard she was doing it but of course that didn't stop her. When it was time to paint them, she didn't even bother to apply a base coat. I've been to places where they make my acrylic look like my actual nail and this place was not one of them. My seventeen year old Bi-racial pregnant daughter went to get her nails done at this salon. Before any service began she presented them with a Visa gift card which had the amount of $100 dollars on it. She asked them if it was accepted for payment. The lady said it was. They charged my daughters card. It went through on my daughters end. Their credit card machine had a malfunction. It came back to them if it was declined. They refused to call the bank that handles their credit cards. The lady pushed my daughter. She trapped her inside they salon when my daughter paid. She made my daughter feel afraid. When i arrived I asked them to call the police they would not. My phone was dead. They would not allow me or my daughter to leave. They had a man stand out side the store and trapped us inside. The manger finally checked the card, it did go through. My daughter who is bi-racial was being yelled at and humiliated in front of every one for their err. They cut my daughters finger while doing her nails. The cut now hurts my daughter pretty bad.They would not even apologize for what they did. read more
