New business management and new business name: Magnolia Nail Spa 4 The inside of the shop is still the same as old business Le Charme but it's not the same. Service and quality isn't the same under their old manager Ryan. I personally felt like it was a trap that they continue to use the LeCharme name and website when they had clearly changed. I was confused when I arrived and saw the name change but still gave them a chance as I had booked an appointment via Le Charme website and only had that day to get my nails done before going to a wedding on the West Coast. Also, even though I had an Spa Pedicure appointment for 10AM (opening time) I still had to wait. Other customers came in (either appt or walk in) and were seen first... they also had to call for more Nail technicians to come. I sat at the manicure station flipping through gel color templates waiting for Nail tech to see me. I already choose but waiting, at one point they had forgotten me until someone asked me what I wanted and I had to repeat myself again. I picked a spa pedicure treatment and selected gel as I heard gel last longer. It was my first time getting gel but I wanted to look my best for the wedding I'll be attending. I asked for paraffin wax for my feet and callus treatment. They were confused and said paraffin is already included in the spa package (I remember it is usually for heel only and I wanted for the entire feet) but they insisted it was included and for the entire feet, so I said okay and let them do their thing. Service was decent but my nail tech had rushed and missed a few spot. She didn't apply the polish carefully and throughly. It was like coloring your hair, they always leave a gap from the hairline so you can return for touchup. In my pic, you can see my toes didn't look as nice and pic was taken about 1.5-2hrs later (after appointment, I had quick lunch and went straight home). While I did enjoy the spa pedicure, because I wanted to pamper my feet, she was abit rough at times and rushed it. And no, she didn't apply paraffin wax to the entire feet; just the heel. I was willing to pay extra but they didn't do that. If you don't know, paraffin wax help rehydrate and trap in moisture and it's particularly effective for those who often get calluses to help in removing dead skin, and healing dry patches. It acts like a form of heat therapy and can help increase blood flow, relax muscles, and decrease joint stiffness. It can also minimize spasms and inflammation as well as treat sprains. When it was time to pay, I thought I would have to shell out more for everything as I didn't know what the actual cost would be. I wanted Spa Pedicure package with Gel Color. Callus Treatment $10, Gel pedicure $55 & Spa Pedicure $45. I had assumed they would charge abit extra for the Gel coloring ontop of the Spa Pedicure package. After I paid and walked out (no receipt was given to me and I had hope to take a pic of the bill but the total was present quickly to me and was out of my view) and walked down the street, the owner lady came out chasing me saying I needed to pay more. I follow back and she said something else was charged to me.. again wasn't able to see the bill and had to trust her word and paid more. I finally left and disappointed later on when I examined my feet at home. I think its time to find a new Nail Salon.

She also seemed visibly frustrated throughout the service, sucking her teeth in frustration as she went over this area again and again with the cuticle cutters, which added to the discomfort. Now, 6 days later, I'm experiencing pain and warmth in that toe, which makes me concerned that the excessive cutting has resulted in irritation and may have even caused an ingrown toenail -- not cool, very awkward & disappointing experience. Manicure: The manicure itself was acceptable, but the process felt inconsistent and unstructured. Each hand was treated differently, and tools--specifically the cuticle nipper--were not cleaned during the service, resulting in visible buildup of cuticle cuttings on the tool, which was unpleasant and concerning from a hygiene standpoint. Overall, this experience left me uncomfortable and disappointed, and I wouldn't return.

I had what might be the most unpleasant nail appointment I've ever sat through. From the start, she was rushing, and not in a subtle way. She then continued at the same pace and pressure. Being heard was simply not on the agenda. The quality of the work matched the attitude. One of my nails had a visible thread of polish hanging off it, clearly about to crack, and when I pointed it out she told me she didn't know what I was talking about and couldn't see anything. I could see it. And sure enough, by the end of the same day, that nail had already cracked and was looking overgrown. Same-day results like that tell you everything you need to know. I paid good money to leave feeling dismissed, hurt, and with nails that were already failing before I got home. I'd strongly recommend requesting a different tech if you visit Latouie -- or doing your research before sitting down.

Very nice service, they replied fast to me on Yelp. They're super kind and gives accommodations like snacks and drinks. If you like alcohol, they give alcohol too. If you're a girl who likes wine or beer, this is a place for you. They take care of you and make sure you're safe even after you leave. Make sure you're not driving if you drink here. I got my a pedicure, and acrylic tips for my first time here and I got 30% off. I will recommend people to come to this nail salon. Most of us are usually pretty satisfied with something close to what they wanted in the picture- I'm the first one to pay extra as long as whenever I look down at my hands I smile. But guess what- when I came here- the results were BEYOND AMAZING. And the price was beyond amazing too! This salon had decent pics of their work. But you'd never expect to be ULTIMATELY BLOWN AWAY by the work. No more fake looking nails, now when I see a design, I can actually get what I ask for. Decent priced and amazing people! I'm disappointed with Sally's Beauty Nails Salon. I've been a loyal customer for years since 2016 even referring friends . However, since their expansion, there customer service with there technicians has declined. Despite setting clear expectations for my appointment that I made via instagram, I faced communication issues and was unexpectedly turned away, leaving me feeling discriminated against. To make someone arrange their time to come to your business and turn them away with no explanation is disrespectful. Sadly, I just can't recommend booking with them anymore. read more

So I have been getting my nails done here for about 6 months. It's amazing to see the growth since they have been able to open a new business due to their expertise. I like Kat (cat) because I find more of a shape girl. But I find the other two women great with designs. Alex the owner/manager is truly a sweetheart who always makes you feel home. A little small but if you find yourself a little claustrophobic there second shop is huge and just has great if not better. Highly recommend. Job well done Alex! read more

She spoke English decently. The others seemed to barely speak English. If you're willing to be patient about that, this place can work for you. My tech was Joan. She only works on Sunday. She had a sweet demeanor and her work was gentle and meticulous. It was a bit pricier here than the 1st location I checked out but worth it. Overall, still less expensive than Manhattan and NJ. An overall good deal. PRO TIP: Join their free membership/rewards program. Ask them about it. After some visits/$ spent, you'll qualify for a $10 credit to be used towards an upcoming visit.

Mei (her name tag actually reads "May") took care of my UV gel pedicure. She was very gentle and gave a great 10 minute leg massage that was included in the green tea spa pedicure I chose. Another plus, the massage chairs they have ACTUALLY work and are fabulous! They didn't moan and creek like many of the other salons I've gone to; it was so soothing, I almost nodded off! Ahh, the life of a boy mom! My pinky had a raw cut on it from it being sanded down. That really hurt. Will most definitely be asking for another girl next time because that was not worth getting a raw cut on my finger. They had another lady that seemed to be very popular. That lady who spoke English was constantly on her phone taking bookings and she was always saying that she was fully booked. So I think she's the one that everyone needs to go to and that she's probably the best technician. Will definitely be back and will try to try the other lady that was very popular. The room is very unhygienic, the wax kit is pretty old and rusty, they don't maintain good hygienic practices while waxing. Even if the worker drops something out of their hand hey simply pick it up from the floor and will apply to your skin. Until stopped, when I stopped the worker she only got mad snd was not ready to throw the strip. The service is very unprofessional and they seemed to be pretty noob while doing it. She didn't even know how to apply wax. She kept on pulling my skin and every time I would tell her it was hurting, she seemed super annoyed and replied back in Chinese. Which i had no idea what she meant! But her body language seemed as if she was super annoyed. Later she told me she wont wax my toes and fingers and I need to pay extra 2$ on each toe and finger! Which is absurd I have never heard of it and it was no where on their service card. She left multiple patches of hair big and small islands. And when I asked her to clean em she didn't want to do it and seemed to be fidgeting. I did complain at the desk and to which they responded "she is our best" and wend straight to billing! VERY VERY BAD EXPERIENCE! I had multiple bruises as she didn't even know how to pull the strips! NOT RECOMMENDED AT ALL Also the staff is very rude I did not like the vibe or anything at all!

I called in advance just to make sure it was OK to take me as a walk-in, and it was no problem at all. The staff are all super friendly, sweet, and truly genuine in professionalism and for making you feel comfortable. They have a much larger selection of colors to pick for your gel manicure. If you pay cash, it's $32 which is pretty reasonable if you are planning to use a credit card it will come out to $33. I had a lovely technician who also gave me a great free back massage prior to finishing. I was in and out in slightly over an hour. I'm super happy with my nails and how clean my cuticles are!
