I had purchased some supplies for my office and found out Monday morning that the entire huge bottle of Softsoap had spilled out into the trunk of my SUV. I am embarrassed to say that I hadn't taken my car for even a basic car wash in over 8 months and hadn't had my car detailed in over 5 years. My expectations were low considering my car is over 15 yrs old and when I went to pick it up I was shocked. He did an amazing job. The outside looked like a different color and the inside was so clean I couldn't believe this was my car. He removed almost all of the stains on my mats (some were just too old to remove) and spent over 30 min rinsing all of the soap out of my mat in the trunk. From first contact to completed work, Matt was outstanding and a master of attention to detail. He was very flexible, easy to communicate with, and available on a Saturday and very straightforward setting up an appointment and convenient location. He arrived on time and ready to work, and spent six hours detailing our vehicle, a Honda CRV with about 50,000 miles in need of some attention. From power washing, to shampooing the floor mats, to polishing and waxing, treating the tires and plastic running boards to the sparkling windows and mirrors, the car now looks brand new. Of particular concern were a lot of door dings on one side of the vehicle, and these are all gone now. This was a gift, and the recipient was thrilled with the outcome and experience. I have never had a car professionally detailed, but having tried to accomplish similar feats on my own, I am all the more impressed with what Matt accomplished. As a former auto detailing enthusiast , my expectations for an auto detail are very high. I called several major detailers in the area and asked them basic questions about their detailing process and the products they use. From the moment I talked to Matt I could tell that not only was he up to date on the latest trends and knowledge in the industry but loved what he did. Matt worked on my wife's 2016 Black Honda Pilot which was full of swirl marks from the good ole drive through car wash and also had major water spots. Matt answered my call when I contacted him early this morning requesting a quote to detail my Suburban after it was egged by an 11 yr old brat. He was reluctant to provide a quote via phone until he could see the vehicle first hand to determine if he was able to provide me with the best service. This guy is the BEST. I hired him to detail my 2008 Cadillac STS and the results were incredible. I went with the full package that included the paint treatment (clay bar i think). My paint had swirls and scratches. He removed 99% of everything. He worked on my car for about 9 hours straight and did a fantastic job. I will be using him again for my wife's SUV soon. The price was incredibly reasonable and it was worth every penny. He is very detail oriented (to his own admission he has an OCD on making sure things are clean), I agree. He's very flexible as he fit me in on a weekend even though he was already booked. I'm more than happy with the end results and how my car turned out. Matt did a great job on my vehicle. We did a home tint removal job due to North Carolina tint laws and Matt was maniacal about getting every piece of goo off. Not only that, he pulled out a light and went through each nook and cranny of my car with me...stuff I would have over looked but he over communicates every aspect so you know the details and it's so appreciated. He literally spent 7 hours on my car and it wasn't in bad shape to begin with but he takes his craft seriously and gets all the small areas taken care of, he even vacuumed out my car seats that we removed from the car...he almost rearranged our garage (j/k) If you want someone totally OCD, which I think you do, I would highly recommend Matt. My wife has a 2005 Lexus SUV, in great shape but it is often dirty, especially on the inside as we have 2 boys on the autism spectrum, 1 of which who has severe autism & is prone to dropping half eaten food including greasy french fries on the rear seat floors. Years of this left the interior filthy & the rear carpet in such bad shape I thought I'd have to have it replaced; but Matt was able to work his magic with a full interior & exterior detail, including waxing & buffing out any scratches to the paint & shampooing the carpets. We hired Matt a few months ago to detail a used 2013 Mini Cooper Countryman that I had just bought. The inside of the car smelled slightly of cigarette smoke from a previous owner and also had dog hair that had gotten wedged in between the seats and stuck in the material in the trunk. Matt spent 7-8 hours working on my car and I couldn't have been happier with the results. The interior of my car was flawless and smelled great, and the outside of my car looked wonderful as well. Contacted Matt a few days ago to schedule a full detail of my Nissan Murano before I put it up for sale. He was extremely accommodating and was very punctual. I was very pleased with the quality of his work. Matt is a frickin' magician. I really don't know how else to describe my car's transformation. My car had not been garage kept for over 2 years, but after Matt spent 7 hours with it you'd think it never left the garage. I went with the full package, which essentially bought me a new car (aesthetically). At the end of it, I felt like I didn't even deserve what he had done. It was akin to if I were loaded and privately flew out a top notch chef or tattoo artist. My advice to Matt would be to look into upper echelon detailing gigs. My Tahoe's paint has been destroyed by all the drive through car washes. Had swirl marks. Not too mention last time I was at an autobell the lady drying off my Tahoe also uses the same towel to dry off my rims then took that same towel back on my paint causing scratches from the brake Merle on the rims. I called Matt. He came out and not only washed, waxed and polished the Tahoe, he turned it into something I've never seen. Recently had Matt detail a little Kia Forte that we found for my daughter. Needless to say, this thing was in pretty good shape, but filthy. Matt did an amazing job on my Mercedes GLC. The paint looks better than new and I couldn't be more pleased with the results. He was working hard for a little over 10 hours - worth every penny!! Requested a quote via Yelp and received a response within an hour or so. I wish I took pictures, but the car was pretty dirty, with 3 kids in the back and it being 8 years old and not having a professional detail job in the past four years. The car looks new again. Took out a lot of the minor scratches and made a few of the big ones look less noticeable. He spend 6 hours on the car ensuring every inch of it was up to his standards.
