After this last storm passed through LA my Hotsprings Spa stopped working. I called the office on Monday at 3:30 PM and they made an appointment to be at my house the next day from 8-10AM. Adam arrived at 8 AM sharp, after about 10 minutes of diagnostic work he told me that the main circuit board was fried and needed to be replaced. Adam also had this part in his truck and replaced it immediately. Adam did a complete inspection of my Spa and made a few recommendations on preventative care. I would recommend this company to any family and friends. Direct TV could take a lesson. read more

Called other local vendors regarding service for my old, above-ground spa and was told over and over, "I only do pools." Luckily, was put in touch with the guys as Klear Water. My spa had been out of commission for a long time, so it definitely needed some TLC. KW helped seal some minor leaks, drained the water, cleaned the shell, and got it working as well as a 15+ year spa will run. They are local to the Long Beach/Signal Hill/Lakewood area, they are timely, and their prices are reasonable. I'll keep calling them until otherwise. read more

Every time I call Darren he either picks up or gets right back to me. In addition the weekly service that Brian provides was incredible! I am pretty sure he even gave our dog treats (maybe so she wouldn't lick him to death) We even had a couple problems and they always took care of them promptly. It sure was nice to not have to worry about the chemical levels - all I had to do to see if Brian had been there was to see if the chemical strip was left on the in the sleeve of the hot tub cover! The kids always had a blast and it was very relaxing to know this was one less thing we had to worry about! I have also suggested them to neighbors and peers - you should do the same! Klear Water Spas has taken wonderful care of my Jacuzzi! Brian, my personal service technician, comes religiously. He is dependable and competent. I do not have to worry about a thing! They recently notified me that I was in need of a new spa cover. I had just become aware of this and was dreading the hunt for a new cover. When Darren notified me via email, he offered to replace the cover, gave me a color palate to choose from and a reasonable quote. Problem solved! Let's see - Never show up when you say you are - Never check your work - Leave me hanging with more repairs - Most likely shorted my electrical board Here's a timeline of my experience with Klear Water. Oh and if you would like to see the video of how they replace gaskets, let me know. Actually, I'm going to upload it. Here's the final email I sent to Darren: With kind respect this is the last time I am going to move forward with your company and I expect not to pay for the control panel, labor, and I am hoping to return the lift back to you; I'll disassemble the lift and take it to your location as a gesture. Below is a timeline of what happened: 1. I needed a cover and bought one from you. You're technician left the new one lying on the grass with the old one left me for to dispose of. 2. I needed a consultation about those old fuses and the technician recommended a to put the jacuzzi on a GFI breaker. I connected the 3, 9 gauge wires to a new 50 amp GFI panel and properly grounded the jacuzzi and connected it to the main electrical panel. The jacuzzi started up no problem but I noticed that the it was not heating. 3. After running a multi-meter from all points from the panel to the contacts on the element, I was able to diagnose that the element needed replacing. In which I called you to replace it. 4. You're technician did not replace and/or check the worn gaskets and did not fill the jacuzzi to check his work after he replaced the heater element and when I went to turn on the jacuzzi the breaker popped and shut off the jacuzzi off when I turned on the pump to start the jets and filter process. I reset the breaker, did not turn on the pump, opened the cover to access the control panel, and noticed a pool of water on the floor. When I turned on the pump, water sprouted everywhere on the board and the breaker popped and turned the jacuzzi off again. Even further, the light stopped working. *** What's great about this is that they told me I didn't ground my jacuzzi properly? Really? So that means that the jacuzzi should of stayed on as water was leaking all over the board! But that is exactly the opposite of what happened. 5. As you should have, you replaced the light and replaced the gaskets. However, because I believe of the water that soaked the control board, the T7 command center stopped working. When I was once able to turn the light off and on, turn the pump off and on, and set the temperature, I was not able to. This put me in a position to buy a new command center. 6. This should of been the end of it, but after I filled the jacuzzi with water and turned on the breaker, my wife and I smelled burning, and the command center read "HOH" which according to United Spas and Controls means "Hardware Overheat - The hi-limit sensor is reading over 116°F/46°C. Once the temperature drops to at least 103°F/39°C press and hold the Temp Down button for 10 seconds to reset. Until the unit reaches 103°F/39°C Lo-Speed Pump-1 will be kept running in attempt to evenly distribute the build-up of heat." *** Here's what's great about your customer service: I ONLY NEEDED A NEW HEATER ELEMENT, COVER, AND LIFT. NOW I DON'T HAVE A JACUZZI! In addition to this, I cannot turn off the light and turn off the pump, which leaves me with no choice but to keep these on even if I am not using the jacuzzi. ** I HAVE GIVEN YOU MORE THAN ENOUGH CHANCES! HORRIBLE HORRIBLE HORRIBLE. read more

My husband and I have used Klear Water Spa's service for the past 3 1/2 years for general repairs and warranty repairs to our Salt Water system hot tub. Initially we worked with Darren, and now he schedules the work to one of his extremely capable team members; in this case, Adam. Today Adam had to correct the wiring the electrician finished yesterday. There was no power to the hot tub. We have used Klear Water for several years, mostly for repairs (we do the routine service and cleaning ourselves). About five years ago, our then-ten year old spa started to fail -- the big pumps and heater were just worn out from frequent use. Klear Water did a great job in rehabbing the spa. The parts were expensive, but we got several more years of use from the spa and did not have to buy a new one. Now, five years later, the spa developed a leak -- the small recirculating pump had a pinhole leak in the housing. Klear Water showed up right on time, diagnosed the problem, and fixed it competently. Who knows how much longer they can keep our old spa alive? It's already an antique. These folks are pros -- Darren, the owner, is very helpful. And all of our service calls have been handled by Adam, who is a very bright and common-sense guy. I'm trying to think of something negative to say, just to prove this isn't one of those phony rave reviews, but I am coming up empty. How about this: I would bet that Klear Water isn't the cheapest service agency in town, but as is often the case, you get what you pay for. read more

I called Klear Water Spas (recommended by my neighbors) to inquire about ordering a spa cover because a different company I had used for many years weren't able to follow through. I called and left a message for Darren to call me back and he did within a reasonable time. I set up an appointment with him for Adam to come out and get the necessary measurements for the cover. Adam showed up on time and took the measurements. I was told it would take about 2 weeks to get the cover and it showed up exactly 2 weeks later. I was VERY happy with the new cover and especially the fact that the cover fit perfectly! It fit and looked much better than the covers I have ordered from other companies in the past. This guy knows what he is doing! Going forward I will use Klear Water Spas for all of my spa needs. I checked in with Darren that morning assuming that he understandably wouldn't be over as scheduled due to the weather . . . but Adam showed up and got the job done amazingly efficiently during a downpour. He was so nice about it too since I was apologizing that he had to work in the rain and said that he thought the problem was fixed but to let him know later if it was leaking since he couldn't tell in the rain of course -- and it's perfect! My spa was not circulating the water, the heater was not working and I wasn't sure what needed to be done. I called Klearwater, as they were recommended by the company that had installed our spa years ago. They scheduled an appointment the following day. Adam arrived within the time frame that had been quoted. He checked the pump, determined that it needed to be repaired, had the part on his truck and installed the part in just a few minutes. When I told him the heater was not working, he checked it, explained what he was doing and why, and ultimately determined that it had likely shut off due to the failure of the pump so that the heater would not burn out. He hit the reset button and everything ran smoothly. I appreciate how patient Adam was as I was peppering him with questions about what he was troublechecking and why. (I had just had an energy drink, so I apologize, Adam). Anyhow, because of the efficient and knowledgeable way he had handled the problems with my spa, I got a quote on and ordered a new spa cover. Darren (I believe he is the owner?) called me to confirm the color I wanted and also told me that he would call me when the cover came in to schedule an appointment. Darren then called me back as he said he would and we scheduled an appointment. Anthony came out to install the cover, which he installed within minutes. He carted my old waterlogged cover away and cleaned up after he was done. I rarely write reviews (I have only posted one review before, several years ago), but I had to write this one because all 4 of my interactions with Klearwater were positive: calls were returned when promised, the technicians arrived when scheduled and the repair and also the subsequent cover replacement were resolved efficiently and quickly.
