Just when you think this company can't get ANY worse. I had a payment arrangement set up. One of my payments was returned. So I make a payment a few days later to cover the payment. It was a different payment amount that I rounded off. I even put in the notes on their website that I had a returned payment and I'm making this payment to replace it. A few days later, I get an email from my bank account that a payment has processed. It was the ORIGINAL payment. Those a ss hats literally ran it again a few days after I make the replacement payment. I called them and ask them to cancel the replacement payment so I won't have two payments made in the same month, plus I had another bill that was scheduled to be paid. I speak to Ryan and he sounds dead and not remotely concerned. His solution was that I'd have a month skipped since I paid twice. I told him how I had another bill that was due and taking that money wouldn't work. I then asked him why no one told me that the payment would be re-ran even AFTER making another payment??? His response? Sorry sir, but it wasn't me, I didn't do it." I was shocked to hear that from ANY company as an answer from an employee! I legitimately asked him was that seriously his answer??? You can literally hear in his voice that he didn't give two shtz. Companies give you a heads up that they'll rerun your payment if it's returned. They gave NO notice. On top of that, my banking institution notified my before they did and still as we speak, they STILL hasn't sent anything. I'm convinced their job is to make things as difficult as possible while being complete jerks. All of the employees there are like that no matter who you speak with. Long Story short. I just spoke with a supervisor, by the name of Shawn Kenndy. He was rude,unprofessional,talk to me like I'm a child and be little me. movin along after my conversation with him l contacted my bank. My bank verified that they wasn't a return check. Nor did they take any money from my account. He was raising his voice at me continuously saying a check has be returned and my bank account is frozen. I'm explaining l didn't get 1, or 3 of the letters they sent,he said l believe you, then goes on to say your bank account is frozen. I have spoken to 5 employees, and 3 out of the 5 was absolutely rude, disrespectful, and definitely unprofessional!! Consumers NEVER had to beg or chase collection companies to accept money! Beyond unprofessional. Seeking clarification should never be met with an attitude and telling the other party you can just ignore the document or throw it out. As an employee they obviously understand what every form means and next steps, to assume I know that information doesn't make sense. Explaining it is their job yet that is too much to do without sounding like I am wasting their time. Someone in their office either forgets to mail important letters every single week or USPS hates them. I have received over 5 letters in a single day with varying dates (some dates weeks prior to receiving) making it appears as if there is a paper trail of previous outreach attempts when they are probably sending them all on the same day. read more

After explaining to them that the debt I had was due losing my daughter to hydrop fetalus, and that directly afterwards the country was shut down to Coronavirus, so we have been struggling like so many other families to try to keep up. I asked for only a couple months to get myself where I can afford to pay them regularly. I offered for them to do direct withdraws if needed at that time. I have to be honest, after reading all of the reviews I was super hesitant and scared to reach out to them to adjust my wage garnishment amount. I finally gathered the courge and called them. To my surprise, they were so nice and helpful with everything. Justine was so helpful and it took less than 15 minutes to adjust my garnishment and draw up the new agreement to send to my employer. She even called a couple of days later to follow up with me. I also had the pleasure of speaking with 3 other employees at KPD, of which all were polite and helpful. I am writing this to ease the mind of those who have doubts like i did. I cannot speak for everyone or on everyone elses experience but I had a delightful experience with this firm.
