Great food and service. The pics say it all. The owner is new and very friendly. We will be back. Come for their Friday night ribeye special. Best cook on a ribeye I've had in a long time.

Down to earth bar with good food. The staff were really nice. We were there on a Thursday night and unfortunately their supply truck had not come in and there were many things on the menu that were not available. The dirty chicken was great! We visited on trivia night.

I have driven by here before and it always looks abandoned. I was in the area and decided to check it out. There were two people who I could see when I walked in. After affirming they were open, I ordered and took a seat. The chicken quesadilla was good. The krinkle fries were seasoned with pepper. Everything was good and reasonably priced. It was so dark inside.

OMG! Definitely a hole in the wall, that may have been only slightly updated since it was built in 1896, but my, oh my, their fried green tomato BLT and onion rings are something to write home about! Kayla is the one woman wait staff and made the recommendation, and for this, I am eternally grateful!! If you're ever up around Vicksburg, MS you'll need to stop by!

Fried green tomato BLT and fresh hand cut french fries. Who could ask for more?

Our two sandwiches were delicious, the fried green tomato BLT and the shrimp Po-boy with fresh cut onion rings and french fries hit the spot. The Klondyke is a bar/restaurant, the service was great. The food was good and the price was wonderful.

The food was decent and so are the prices. The food was pretty greasy but pretty good regardless. The service was okay, a little confusion between sitting down to eat and ordering at the counter. Other people in our party got the hamburger and chicken sandwich with fried tomatoes, said it was also very good! Overall, good experience!

Don't know what's going on. Second time I came here the foods are lukewarm/cold. Part of the shrimp was cold and part of the hamburger steak is lukewarm. Seems like if the food is not fried, you may get different quality everytime

Stopped for lunch on our way back home to Iowa from New Orleans. The woman who served us was personable and welcoming. Food was excellent. Highly recommend.

Definitely a one of a kind place. From the outside it looks like a little antiques store. The interior is very rustic, filled with unusual antiques and the food is off the hook. The fried green tomatoes are some of the best I've ever had. The fried dill pickles were crispy and really good. The steak is so tender and well seasoned that no sauce was needed. I had a baked potato that was slow roasted and delicious. My friend had the Bayou burger and it was huge! It's so big that it could almost be shared with another person. The staff is awesome. Everything was cooked to perfection and service was excellent. I'd definitely recommend eating here if you want a unique eating experience.

Joseph Emory Davis, patriarchal brother to Confederate Pres Jefferson Davis, the owner of Hurricane Plantation in Warren County, Jefferson Davis made his final speech from Anchuca's front balcony, near the Vicksburg Battlefield. We got here early and parked in the small parking lot. We wandered around all of the beautiful rooms from the period. We were seated in the library. Brunch entrées included a small salad or fruit cup, and a dessert. We enjoyed our salads with balsamic dressing. For an entrée, I chose seafood, gumbo, and my husband, the shrimp and grits. The cheesy, creamy grits with the best I ever tasted, and my husband doesn't like shrimp, but he devoured them. We're trying both desserts, the warm peach cobbler alamode and the white chocolate bread pudding were obscene. Our meal was delicious, service, impeccable, and the setting spectacular.

Approximately a mile from the Vicksburg battlefield, the house sits high on a hill that would have had direct line of vision to the Mississippi River during the war. The house still bears the scars of battle shrapnel but was ultimately spared. The buildings are an impressive representation of Southern living for the well to do in the late 1800s. The upper porch served as the location for Jefferson Davis last public speech after the war. The restaurant serves a nice breakfast to boarders and a more elegant option for dinner with a full menu. Pleasant service in a cozy dining area makes for a great experience in this historic home. P.S. Note that both the dining area and all of the in rooms are not handicapped accessible and require the ability to claim stairs.

Anyway Amie very kindly sat us near the window and wished us good evening. The interior is quite nice and clearly a very old building repurposed into a dining area and nice looking bar. Almost forgot Amie did offer to seat us in the air conditioned patio however we chose to sit near the windows and battled flies to boot! lol. Fortunately I had our trusty fly repeller thingy which kept them at bay. Although I do think the restaurant should invest in those wall mounted fly gizmos as I did see a wasp or two as well. Be careful out there! Now as to our friendly server Allie M , she was kind , quick , and attentive. We each had the brewery's Mr Sippi pilsner was tasty and more importantly cold! I followed that with an excellent Malbec. My wife had a chicken salad and I had a pizza. All were good. Oh and their fries ? Excellent!

Everything was ready in about 20 minutes as estimated by the employee who took our order. The restaurant itself, while we didn't dine-in, looked nice inside with an indoor/outdoor setup. We were with our dog and had just finished doing some sightseeing so we wanted to get back to our rental to eat. All of the food was awesome! The wings were absolutely delicious! Wings are a staple of my wife's diet when visiting a pub/bar and I will say confidently these wings were the best I've ever tasted (across the country). If all wings tasted this good then I'd eat them all the time too. Perfectly cooked, perfectly seasoned, and plenty of meat on each wing. They literally didn't need sauce. The pizza was equally as good, and I'm unashamedly snobby and critical about pizza. Admittedly, the only thing that may put people off is how greasy they are. I literally had a grease stain on my pants after resting the box on my lap for a couple of minutes on the ride home. But that aside, the flavor of both pizzas was fantastic! Perfect amount of cheese, a great tasting sauce, and a perfectly charred crust that wasn't too thick or too thin (although you will need to fold it to eat it or the slice will flop downward from the weight of the cheese). If you love pizza and wings, then eat here. As an aside, I've also had their beer, which is served at the property we were staying at, in Vicksburg. The Mr. Sippi is a very drinkable Pilsner. So all-in-all, you can't go wrong here!

There are not a lot of Yelpers in Vicksburg but Rusty's had some great reviews so we decide to try it. Nice location near the river and plenty of street parking. We were seated quickly after our full party arrived. There is nothing fancy about this place but clean and simple. When you walk in you see the desserts in the cooler in the front and they all look delicious and homemade. We saw some dinner rolls being brought to the table but we were not offered any so we asked and they are free. So make sure to ask. They are yummy little yeast rolls with some sweet (maybe honey) butter. I tried a Bahama mama that was tasty and we liked the fried calamari (7/10). This place is a mostly seafood restaurant with a few good options if you don't or can't eat seafood. We had two in our party that does not eat seafood and they enjoyed the blacked chicken. The mozzarella sticks were also tasty. The start of the dinner was the Redfish with the craw fish cream sauce. DE-licious!! I enjoyed the seafood pasta. It's a lemon butter sauce not creamy but I liked it! It came with a side so I tried a cup of gumbo for $3 up-charge. It was worth it. Very good gumbo with sausage, shrimp, scallops, and an oyster! Looking forward to going back!

So we booked a spot at a local hotel and they recommended Rusty's because 'it's by the river.' Although it is near the river, you cannot SEE the river. So...whatever. They were super friendly, very welcoming. The place is, essentially, a pub or sportsbar feel. We were hungry, but not starving and wanted to order light, but were excited by the new (to us) items on the menu...we're from the Pacific Northwest so the type of seafood they have here at Rusty's is not the usual. We got the fried green tomato appetizer, then the wedge salad and shrimp and grits. So- one app, a salad and one entree. The portions were HUGE. Like, way too much for us. We loved the sweet tea. The green tomatoes were great. Lump crab and hollandaise...tasty, if maybe a little over-sauced. The wedge salad was drowning in dressing. It tasted great, but way too much. Shrimp and grits: delicious, but we ended up taking most of it to-go because we were so full from everything else. The shrimp and grits also came with onion rings- which went straight into the doggie bag. Just so much food. I appreciate that they're trying to make sure that we're well fed, I really do...but damn. I want to taste everything...please, smaller portions! Or maybe a tasting menu? We wanted dessert badly but had no room for it at all.
