Alfanso, the manager, approached me outside and asked me if I need some help. I explained to him about the issues I was having with the brakes. He got in the car and I drove around trying to mimic the sounds I had heard earlier. I didn't make an appointment and they were kind enough to stop what they were doing to address my concern over my brake issues. He had the guys take a look and the pad and rotors needed replacement. Alfanso, called around to gathering quotes on the parts I was requesting, all OEM parts, and they just charged me labor. The replacement of all rotors and brake pads took a little over two hours. Also had to wait for a lug nut to be delivered because the old one was wearing down. They didn't have any issues letting me watch what they were doing. They even explained to me what they were doing (and I know for some people that would be nerve wrecking, to have someone constantly watching their every move) and what details I should be looking at when I suspect to have issues with the brakes. One of the guys gave me a detailed estimated work order before I consented to the job so I wouldn't be shocked with any surprise charges. Overall, I'm happy with the service I received. They didn't push me to get any additional work done on the car. They just suggested things that I may want replaced, like the serpentine belt; which I will go in soon to get replaced. They were honest and charged me a reasonable rate for labor. I highly recommend this place for those car owners who are looking for an honest place to service your car.

He's very friendly and gives an honest price everytime. Call and talk to him and he'll tell you what's up without the usual pressure or run around. This is a great place to get some body work done or the typical maintenance that's required such as oil changes, brake pads, check engine diagnosis, etc. Most work can be done while you wait but if it can't then he'll immediately let you know. The drawback about the shop is the limited parking up and down.

I have had repeat issues with this gas station over the years. Most recently, I purchased a car…read morewash at the pump, entered the number to get the wash... it didn't work, just a loud beep. I went in the store to get a refund and the clerk says to come back next week. I asked why. He said, because I purchased the car wash at the pump. What does this have to do with anything? He refused to help me. They are selling car washes at the pump when you get gas, but I've never seen that it works. I tried once before and was able to get a refund. Never again. When will they invest to fix it or remove the car wash option from the pump? And put a sign out that says the carwash is not working and a cone. Other issues: Multiple other times I have tried to pay for gas at the pump and then am instructed I have to go inside. Another time I tried to get gas and it was so so slow that I had to go to a different gas station all together. The gas price here is often more reasonable than some others in the area but it's not work the extra headache.

You'll end up with a friend of a friend, or that guy your cousin used in 1991 whose rates have tripled, or the guy whose mantra is "don't worry, I got this" So it's with a lot of surprise and pleasure that I report that I finally found a good car mechanic who meets the holy grail of criteria: honest, smart, good people person, nearby, good rates, great front desk. Eric is the mechanic, and he not only knows which way is up on your car (not always a guarantee, trust me), he will explain why it is up and not down and how it might be even more up, in plain English, in a completely understandable way. Not a common skill, believe me. He clearly is all about cars, is a total car person, and I'll be having him do everything I can't do myself from now on. Kristyn is up front and took care of things lickety split. Smiles, laughter, and good vibes great you when you walk in, which also is a pretty rare thing in the scowl-heavy world of mechanics. She's a gem. One last note: the garage is incredibly clean. I have spent a lot of time about cars and mechanics generally and I have seen some stuff in my time, and Eric's garage is by far the cleanest I've ever encountered. No black smudges on the floor, all tools in their rightful place, everything seems color coded or to be in a purposeful place... I was impressed. After hours of closing the deal, The salesman said they made a mistake and now its a 3% loan! As I was walking out, they made some sort of deal on the price to make up the difference, but I'm not sure, really. Ended up buying the car. Service department gets 5Plus stars.
