Moses also warned me that red can fall out pretty quickly and would need to be touched up every few month - I already knew this from previous experience, but definitely great that he gave a heads up for people who might not know! Throughout the process, Moses explained how he was cutting my hair and took into account how I wanted a low maintenance haircut as well. Overall experience was also relatively quick - under 3 hours for cut and dye (although a part of my hair was already lightened from a previous dye so could take longer with fully virgin black hair). It was $220 total before tip ($160 for dye and $60 for cut - initial quoted price on their website starts from $120 for dye and $70 for cut), which is a pretty good price for a full dye and cut in NYC especially considering the length of my hair.
