Growing up Palestinian knafeh is always a special occasion when served as dessert. I grew up near Dearborn Michigan home to the best middle eastern bakeries in all America and the knafeh there is indeed amazing however after having Knafeh queens, unfortunately they no longer have the title of the best Knafeh. Legitimately speaking it is the best knafeh I ever had and I have had a lot, I am a believer that when you put passion, heart and soul into your cooking/baking it reflects on the taste and that is definitely reflected with this Knafeh. I have followed this mom/daughter duo go over three years now. They have great customer service and are very in touch with social issues, which is apart of their interfaith/diversity/inclusion mission. The strips of phyllo dough on top give a tiny glimpse of baklava. Syrupy goodness makes the balance of crunchy on top and gooey throughout come together.
