I had a lovely experience at Bacio di Latte (Etiwanda). I ordered multiple gelato (i.e. Pistachio, Strawberry Cheesecake, and 3 Cioccolati). I had the Piccolo Cup ($7.95) and Regular Cup ($8.95). This silky gelato contained bold, rich flavors. It's delicious! I arrived at Bacio di Latte (Etiwanda) on Sunday (around 11:06AM). Parking is simple since the plaza's parking is big; however, it's competitive from the many cars. Staff is very professional, welcoming, and hardworking. Staff immediately offered samples. Staff also eagerly explained each gelato. Staff happily answered my questions. Staff maintained a bright, cheery smile whenever customers arrived. My order was completed immediately. As mentioned, I genuinely adored the gelato. Each flavor felt distinct, bold, and fresh. The ingredients tasted high quality, and it melted quickly once scooped. The pistachio had a fresh, natural flavor. The strawberry cheesecake had a bold strawberry taste. And the 3 Cioccolati had a clean, pure chocolate flavor. It's a delightful, special experience. After checking out the reviews and photos, Bacio Di Latte seemed like a solid choice. I ordered two medium lattes, two small ice creams, and a cookie--totaling over $40. Pricey, but I figured, "Hey, inflation is wild these days." I didn't bother checking the drinks at the counter, but once I got to my car to add sugar, I realized both lattes were only filled halfway. Seriously? I went back in to ask for a fix, expecting at least an apology. Instead, I was told that's just how they serve them and that there's only one size. Funny, because when they remade them, they handed me smaller cups--so clearly, that wasn't true. To top it off, the lattes tasted like warm milk with barely a hint of coffee. And the staff are also pretty friendly and generous with the scoops. After a sample of the Crema Torino with the rich hazelnut, I had to get a scoop - but then I also saw their Chocolate Pistacchio, so had to get that one, too. Well, really just had a half scoop of each in a small cup. And quite honestly, that was a perfect portion; not too little and not too much, as the gelato already comes rich. I've been here numerous times, and the Gelato is top tier. The affogato with Pistacio creme spread on the cup is probably my favorite. The staff is super friendly and is always eager to offer free samples and help describe the different menu items. Despite this being an especially busy Bacio di Latte, the service here is always amazing! The gelato is incredibly delicious! I was able to get my favorite flavor, tiramisu and as always, it was to die for. The staff was super nice and accepted my request of wafflecone on the side. The pistachio cream with nuts was so good and the cone stayed nice and crispy! I can never eat the gelato fast enough and it usually ends up soggy, so thank you! Between, the Newport Beach and Pasadena shops, this probably has the nicest and most comfortable sitting area. The line is almost always out the door, but the wait is definitely worth it! read more

This place has amazing ice cream. Actually I believe it's gelato. It's so rich. You really only need one scoop or two. I always get three scoops and never finish it because it's so rich. The flavors are unique. They have seasonal flavors too. The price is reasonable. But think of it as a personal treat, a mini luxury for yourself. The service is awesome. Everytime I do in I have to try at least several flavors. I do try to limit it though if they're busy. It's a small shop so it gets busy quickly. I like the decor. Gelato was amazing! Let's just get that out of the way, the ambiance was also adorable. The location was quite busy for an early Monday night so that is great! The variety of the flavors were large and the flavors themselves were delicious. But very rich! The service however seemed a bit off, lovely workers but the energy seemed low and they seemed a bit bothered. We got two little samples which were nice by the staff but they all just seemed a bit drab and unimpressed/uninterested. Just extremely blasé and unconcerned, even after we told them it was our first time there. They did ask if we had allergies so that was nice. It's conveniently located near the south side of the mall by Flemings. The line was long and stretched to the door. It is a small place but has some available seating. We reached the front after waiting maybe like 7 minutes. I got a regular cup with pistachio, cookies and cream, and sweet cream. It was very good! My favorites were the cookies and cream and sweet cream. It wasn't too sweet and the creaminess and distinct flavor profile was fantastic. The pistachio was good but it leaned a bit more nutty and bitter for my liking. My mom and my husband enjoyed theirs too. My mom liked the salted caramel and my husband really loved one of the chocolate flavors. What a hip place to be and enjoy some yummy gelato in a comfortable and alluring ambiance! They did good with the simple cute decor and off yellow/orange lighting that gives it a soft and romantic feel to it especially in the evening. Seating inside with limited bench seating outside. Take me out for date night every night, will you? LOL I love gelato!! They have over 20 gelato flavors. Kid you not, they had about 6-7 staff members behind the counter to assist the customers with sampling and purchases. Yes, they offer free samples. That's super great service! All the lady staff were so very friendly, hospitable, and helpful. Thank you misses! There was one gentleman helping out, too. Thank you sir! They were extremely busy, but the line does go fast with so many staff to assist. The only thing is they need to organize the line better. I feel it can get chaotic. For gelato, you can get it in a waffle cone, cup, or sugar cone... all priced differently based on size and how many scoops. They also have pre-packaged gelato for purchase... look for the freezer. To elevate the gelato experience, they offer ciocchino which inludes your favorite gelato flavors in a cone lined in nutella or pistachio cream topped with crunchy nuts like hazelnuts or pistachios. Can't wait to try that one! If you want a cool or hot drink to be paired along with your delightful gelato, iced or hot lattes, caffe, and expresso are available, too. Last, but not least, they have an affogato bar... a scoop of gelato topped with a shot of hot espresso. They have 4 different flavors for that. Per Google, "The name "affogato" translates to "drowned" in Italian, referring to the ice cream "drowning" in the hot coffee." Good to know! This has become our go to for celebratory desert! Their gelato is divine! My favorites include the strawberry and both pistachio flavors - one is more sweet than the other. Made in house daily with the freshest ingredients, the quality shines through in the taste and velvety texture! They have new flavors once a month, I think every 3 weeks or so, but have noticed it about once a month which is how often we visit. Sign up for rewards so you can earn points for every dollar. Just provide your phone number at subsequent visits. The place is clean, bright, and trendy. A few tables and chairs inside is cozy. There are a couple benches nearby outside the store as well. Seeet cream: 10/10 not too sweet Tiramisu: 9/10 delicious Late: over priced in our opinion and if you want whip cream on it they charged 1.50 extra for whip cream. I'm not sure where I've been, but I'm just now realizing that Bacio di Latte opened a store at VG's. Really pleased that VG is starting to attract higher end shops. Bacio di latte is one of my favorite stateside gelaterias. Until now, the closest one to me was the fashion island location. Honestly, nothing bad to report. This location is consistent with the others - well appointed store, friendly staff, really good gelato. I ordered a piccolo cup with Mousse di pistachio and Bacio di latte. Pistachio & cream hits the spot. I've read some of the complaints about the price point and my answer to that is, you get what you pay for. Outside of a few artisan shops, this is the closest you're going to get to real Italian style gelato. It doesn't quite transport me back to Florence if I close my eyes... but it's pretty close. I am a HUGE gelato fan. Totally addicted! Was traveling in CA and looked up the closest gelato place near me and this option looked intriguing. It is located in an upscale outdoor shopping area (Victoria Gardens) and at 2pm on a Friday i really struggled to find parking. Eventually found a spot a 3 blocks away. Place is really cute and nicely decorated. I did the line and ordered two flavors: 1 - Cocco Rio 2 - Crema Torino. I am spoiled because in WA (where i live) we have a local Ma and Pa gelato spot that really makes amazing gelato with high end fresh and organic ingredients. This place has more of a "chain feel" and i noticed the gelato was WAY TOO SOFT! This means it has lots of "fillers" and is whipped with air! Both flavors were good but not great. It's too expensive for me to frequent more than occasionally, but I would say it's worth it to try at least once. The gelato is so smooth and flavorful. My favorite was the sweet cream. TLDR = Great spot for a sweet treat that's open late and has prepacked items you can take home. Exterior = 5/5 Located in the Victoria Gardens mall, there is plenty parking nearby and also a couple pay slots directly in front of the store. It's nearby JCPenney which is along the south side of the mall. The store has high windows and many of it so it lets in natural light. There are a couple seats outside if you feel like sitting outside. Interior = 5/5 As soon as you enter, the line entrance begins and is a short distance to the front where the gelatos are lined up. When it has been busy I have seen the line quickly form out the door since it's not a big waiting area directly inside. There are a few options for seats immediately to the right as well as more to the left of the entrance. I would say there are two locations to sit if you have a larger group, then the rest is more for smaller groups. The smell of what I believe is waffle cones is in the air, and they have a nice display for the gelatos. There is also a fridge where you can take prepacked gelato to go, which I love when I'm wanting to enjoy it at home. Service = 5/5 Everyone that has helped us has been super nice and attentive. You can try as many flavors as you want which is appreciated since there are so many flavor options and they do bring in special flavors on occasion. Order = 5/5 I find myself content with the small gelato with two flavors - I usually get the nutellina and another option (many times it's pistachio or stracciatella). I like the nutellina as it has sweet cream mixed with Nutella and you will sometimes have swirls or chunks throughout it. I love to get it to go. My other second popular one at any gelato shop I go to is stracciatella. They make this flavor great here. Both flavors are creamy and decadent. If you don't want dairy heavy options they also have sorbet! Overall = 5/5 When they first opened, I frequented here quite often (less now due to new year resolution - but I will be back soon). I have been familiar with this brand and appreciate the store opening a location more inland. I find their flavors consistent and hits the sweet tooth just right.
