Craving something sweet and cool on a warm sunny day in SoCal? Bacio di Latte is a sweet little spot to have the yummiest gelato! The staff were very helpful with samples![[HIGHLIGHT]]Cozy ambiance with soothing creamy colors and comfy seating , relaxing music and the smell of fresh waffle cones![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] A lot of flavor selection and nondairy too! I had the bacio and chocolate! Yummy! Can't wait to try more! Right next to JC pennys in Victoria Gardens.
I've been here numerous times, and the Gelato is top tier. The affogato with Pistacio creme spread on the cup is probably my favorite. The staff is super friendly and is always eager to offer free samples and help describe the different menu items. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The inside is a bit small, so on a Friday/Saturday night it may be crowded..... but almost any other time, I always find a seat.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]They play old tunes for the ambiance, like Frank Sinatra, so it definitely sets the vibe.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]
I had a lovely experience at Bacio di Latte (Etiwanda). I ordered multiple gelato (i.e. Pistachio, Strawberry Cheesecake, and 3 Cioccolati). I had the Piccolo Cup ($7.95) and Regular Cup ($8.95). This silky gelato contained bold, rich flavors. It's delicious! I arrived at Bacio di Latte (Etiwanda) on Sunday (around 11:06AM). Parking is simple since the plaza's parking is big; however, it's competitive from the many cars. Staff is very professional, welcoming, and hardworking. Staff immediately offered samples. Staff also eagerly explained each gelato. Staff happily answered my questions. Staff maintained a bright, cheery smile whenever customers arrived. My order was completed immediately. As mentioned, I genuinely adored the gelato. Each flavor felt distinct, bold, and fresh. The ingredients tasted high quality, and it melted quickly once scooped. The pistachio had a fresh, natural flavor. The strawberry cheesecake had a bold strawberry taste. And the 3 Cioccolati had a clean, pure chocolate flavor. It's a delightful, special experience. Regarding ambiance, Bacio di Latte (Etiwanda) is gorgeous and upscale. It's beautiful!! There's eight shiny interior tables, a gender neutral restroom, and soothing music. It's an attractive location. Overall, I had a magical experience at Bacio di Latte (Etiwanda). Staff is exceptional, ambiance is gorgeous, and the gelato is distinct & special. If you love gelato, this is a very easy recommendation. 5 out of 5. "GOO!!"
Despite this being an especially busy Bacio di Latte, the service here is always amazing! The gelato is incredibly delicious! I was able to get my favorite flavor, tiramisu and as always, it was to die for. The staff was super nice and accepted my request of wafflecone on the side. The pistachio cream with nuts was so good and the cone stayed nice and crispy! I can never eat the gelato fast enough and it usually ends up soggy, so thank you! [[HIGHLIGHT]]Between, the Newport Beach and Pasadena shops, this probably has the nicest and most comfortable sitting area.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The line is almost always out the door, but the wait is definitely worth it!
This place has amazing ice cream. Actually I believe it's gelato. It's so rich. You really only need one scoop or two. I always get three scoops and never finish it because it's so rich. The flavors are unique. They have seasonal flavors too. The price is reasonable. But think of it as a personal treat, a mini luxury for yourself. The service is awesome. Everytime I do in I have to try at least several flavors. I do try to limit it though if they're busy. It's a small shop so it gets busy quickly. I like the decor. It reminds me of a cute cafe somewhere in Europe. It's a nice place to bring a date and sit and chit chat.
Gelato was amazing! Let's just get that out of the way, the ambiance was also adorable. The location was quite busy for an early Monday night so that is great! The variety of the flavors were large and the flavors themselves were delicious. But very rich! The service however seemed a bit off, lovely workers but the energy seemed low and they seemed a bit bothered. We got two little samples which were nice by the staff but they all just seemed a bit drab and unimpressed/uninterested. Just extremely blasé and unconcerned, even after we told them it was our first time there. They did ask if we had allergies so that was nice. I would like to go back and try something else, but because the prices are so expensive it might be a while!
Perfect for the summer heat and probably just as perfect during a California winter season. My family and I stopped by VG because we were craving gelato and I was happy this was nearby. It's conveniently located near the south side of the mall by Flemings. The line was long and stretched to the door. It is a small place but has some available seating. We reached the front after waiting maybe like 7 minutes. I got a regular cup with pistachio, cookies and cream, and sweet cream. It was very good! My favorites were the cookies and cream and sweet cream. It wasn't too sweet and the creaminess and distinct flavor profile was fantastic. The pistachio was good but it leaned a bit more nutty and bitter for my liking. My mom and my husband enjoyed theirs too. My mom liked the salted caramel and my husband really loved one of the chocolate flavors. The service was good and the girls who served us were nice and took time and precision to create my mom's yummy gelato creation.
Burgeoning chain of gelaterias that have clean, bright, and sleek interiors. Lots of flavors of gelato to choose from and friendly and helpful service. This is actually the second location I've visited now. And if I see a location somewhere, I feel like I know what I should expect and that's tasty gelato and friendly people. Since this location is in the Victoria Gardens, there's plenty parking around and you can get here relatively easily through a combo of finding a good spot and/or walking. On this visit, I got the two flavors of Buttercream Pretzel and Stracciatella. This combo definitely satisfied the sweet tooth and were very tasty and creamy along with a bit of texture. All in all just a great and satisfying experience. A great option for dessert/ ice cream in the area.
One of the most decedent things I've ever had! The staff is kind as wel patient, they let us try all the different flavors. It was difficult to choose because I also loved all their chocolate flavors, but I ended up getting Pistachio and Crema Torino. The pistachio is the best flavor, so rich and creamy with the perfect taste of nutty pistachio that's not overwhelming. On my way to Mendocino Farms on Monet Ave at Victoria Gardens to pick up some dinner, I saw a lot of people standing and sitting outside a shop. I didn't know what it was until I got closer... it's a gelato shop called Bacio di Latte. I said to myself, cool... I'll be back LOL. So here I am... What a hip place to be and enjoy some yummy gelato in a comfortable and alluring ambiance! They did good with the simple cute decor and off yellow/orange lighting that gives it a soft and romantic feel to it especially in the evening. Seating inside with limited bench seating outside. Take me out for date night every night, will you? LOL I love gelato!! They have over 20 gelato flavors. Kid you not, they had about 6-7 staff members behind the counter to assist the customers with sampling and purchases. Yes, they offer free samples. That's super great service! All the lady staff were so very friendly, hospitable, and helpful. Thank you misses! There was one gentleman helping out, too. Thank you sir! They were extremely busy, but the line does go fast with so many staff to assist. The only thing is they need to organize the line better. I feel it can get chaotic. For gelato, you can get it in a waffle cone, cup, or sugar cone... all priced differently based on size and how many scoops. They also have pre-packaged gelato for purchase... look for the freezer. To elevate the gelato experience, they offer ciocchino which inludes your favorite gelato flavors in a cone lined in nutella or pistachio cream topped with crunchy nuts like hazelnuts or pistachios. Can't wait to try that one! If you want a cool or hot drink to be paired along with your delightful gelato, iced or hot lattes, caffe, and expresso are available, too. Last, but not least, they have an affogato bar... a scoop of gelato topped with a shot of hot espresso. They have 4 different flavors for that. Per Google, "The name "affogato" translates to "drowned" in Italian, referring to the ice cream "drowning" in the hot coffee." Good to know! If that's not enough, they also have cookies and other sweet desserts. Now to what I ordered... I tried samples of 4 different flavors... sweet amarena, crema torino, carmello saltato, buttercream pretzel. I ended up getting a regular cup (up to 4 flavors) with sweet amarena and buttercream pretzel. Smooth and creamy... just so YUMMY! It was indeed not enough. I may have to get the pint next time LOL. Yes, they have take home options in family or pint sizes, too! YES, I will definitely be back for more kisses of milk (English transaltion of Bacio di Latte)! If you haven't gotten your kiss of milk, now is the time. Go get them!

It has a rich, natural pistachio flavor without tasting artificial. They currently have a seasonal strawberry shortcake flavor that is also really good. The gelato is smooth, dense, and incredibly creamy. It is on the pricier side, but you can taste the quality and freshness of the ingredients. Since gelato is denser than regular ice cream, even a small serving is surprisingly filling, so I still feel it's worth the price. They allow you to sample flavors before ordering, which is helpful because they have several great options. There always seems to be a line out the door, but the staff keeps it moving quickly. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The shop is clean but has very limited seating, so it's more of a grab-and-go dessert spot.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Since it's located inside the Victoria Gardens outdoor mall, you'll need to park in one of the mall's lots or parking garages and walk over. i absolutely LOVE gelato and had one every day in Italy, so i was really excited to try this place out since it's a very popular chain. my friends and i came here on a saturday afternoon, and it was definitely packed with a line going out the door, but it moved relatively quickly. the workers were super nice and patient when allowing us to sample as many flavors as we wanted, and everyone was so efficient in making sure that the line moved smoothly. [[HIGHLIGHT]]the store itself is pretty small and doesn't have much seating inside, but there are a couple of benches right aside to enjoy your ice cream.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] my bf and i decided to share a regular sized cup of chocolate pistachio crunch and tiramisu. i was a big fan of the chocolate pistachio crunch, which had huge chunks of chocolate that provided a nice texture with the ice cream! the ice cream itself was really smooth and had a great pistachio flavor. the tiramisu ice cream was also very yummy, but my heart lies with the chocolate pistachio crunch hehe i'd say the gelato here is definitely on the sweeter side, so not what i was used to compared to gelato straight from italy. it's also pretty expensive, with the smallest cup being $8 already and tiny. i do appreciate the workers for putting as much ice cream in the cup as possible tho and not skimping! read more

After checking out the reviews and photos, Bacio Di Latte seemed like a solid choice. I ordered two medium lattes, two small ice creams, and a cookie--totaling over $40. Pricey, but I figured, "Hey, inflation is wild these days." I didn't bother checking the drinks at the counter, but once I got to my car to add sugar, I realized both lattes were only filled halfway. Seriously? I went back in to ask for a fix, expecting at least an apology. Instead, I was told that's just how they serve them and that there's only one size. Funny, because when they remade them, they handed me smaller cups--so clearly, that wasn't true. To top it off, the lattes tasted like warm milk with barely a hint of coffee. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Honestly, I'd expect this kind of quality from a run-down spot, not a place that looks this polished.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Major letdown. Amazing decadent gelato that is rich and creamy. Unique flavors. I've tried it in a cup and in a waffle cone. Interior is warmly lit. Employees made good suggestions on which flavor to pair with. I've tried the strawberry cheesecake with the creamy Bacio di latte (sweet cream). I've also tried the chocolate pistachio with the hazelnut and loved this combo. They offer half flavors so you can order the small piccolo size and try two flavors. Prices are what you expect at the Victoria Garden mall (factor in rent, cost of supplies, cost of labor). It's my new favorite dessert place of the moment. There are outside benches since we had our dog with us. They also offer specialty coffee drinks and cookies that I'll have to try next time. read more

We visited on a weekday, so it was not too busy. The shop is pretty small, so there are only a few small tables, if you prefer to sit inside. It was clean and nicely decorated. They have a lot of flavors to choose from and we tried pistachio, pistachio mousse, strawberry cheesecake and açaí. We enjoyed all 4 of them. If I had to choose between the 2 pistachio options, I would go with the pistachio mousse, the flavor was even stronger. My only small drawback is the price. All three available cup sizes are relatively small. We went with the regular size (middle option) and paid 17.90 for 2. Price aside, the gelato was really good, so we might try some other flavors as well. read more

Overall, I would rate the gelato a 4/5. The gelato was creamy and the pistachios added a good balance to the gelato. I ordered the cone dipped in pistachio cream and coated in pistachios, which is honestly a must try and I would highly recommend. I think the gelatos were a bit too sweet for my liking, but if you're looking for a sweeter version of gelato/ice cream then I would definitely recommend this place. They give samples and the workers there were kind. Service was fast. read more

The decor and the general ambiance of the spot are on point. Took my toxic Latina there for some gelato. We loved the white interior and the warm lighting. Reminded me of my time in Paris. We tried the cookies & cream, yogurt, and tiramisu. Ended up getting exactly all three of those flavors. Honorable mention would be the pistachio. The ice-cream was creamy but not too rich, very suitable for post date dessert or just a quick romantic meet-up. When you have young sorority girls showing up for some take out, you know you found the next hot spot. The coffee with icecream in it is a bit overrated but still good. The inside of the shop was cute! And I liked seeing the different flavors on display. They let you try the flavors before you pick if you need to. The guy was really nice as I tried to pick my flavors. I don't know if there's a limit to how many you can try, I don't think there is since they didn't say anything about that. read more
So cute inside. The gelato was amazingggg I loved the flavors and everything tasted so fresh and delicious. Service was great and the girl helping us was very friendly and helped us taste test different flavors. I would say the price was a bit expensive for two people it cost $20 dollars. read more
I'm not sure where I've been, but I'm just now realizing that Bacio di Latte opened a store at VG's. Really pleased that VG is starting to attract higher end shops. Bacio di latte is one of my favorite stateside gelaterias. Until now, the closest one to me was the fashion island location. Honestly, nothing bad to report. This location is consistent with the others - well appointed store, friendly staff, really good gelato. I ordered a piccolo cup with Mousse di pistachio and Bacio di latte. Pistachio & cream hits the spot. I've read some of the complaints about the price point and my answer to that is, you get what you pay for. Outside of a few artisan shops, this is the closest you're going to get to real Italian style gelato. It doesn't quite transport me back to Florence if I close my eyes... but it's pretty close. It's worth the money. I'm sure I'll be coming here for my ice cream fixes. A welcome addition to Rancho Cucamonga. read more

I am a HUGE gelato fan. Totally addicted! Was traveling in CA and looked up the closest gelato place near me and this option looked intriguing. It is located in an upscale outdoor shopping area (Victoria Gardens) and at 2pm on a Friday i really struggled to find parking. Eventually found a spot a 3 blocks away. Place is really cute and nicely decorated. I did the line and ordered two flavors: 1 - Cocco Rio 2 - Crema Torino. I am spoiled because in WA (where i live) we have a local Ma and Pa gelato spot that really makes amazing gelato with high end fresh and organic ingredients. This place has more of a "chain feel" and i noticed the gelato was WAY TOO SOFT! This means it has lots of "fillers" and is whipped with air! Both flavors were good but not great. Too busy with too many combinations of fillers. I would rather go to my local spot but I got my "fix"'for the day! read more
